The next morning, Red woke up and felt something warm, soft and fragrant enveloping his face. He opened his eyes to find that Eve, at some point during the night, had shifted her position up and buried his face in her chest.
Her nightgown had slipped down her shoulders just enough to expose her beautiful, white breasts. His face was now stuffed in between her breasts and one of her delicate, pink nipples was poking his cheek.
Red felt a rush of blood going towards his crotch. He tried to pull away his head but Eve was hugging him tightly, not letting go. He didn't know what to do, but he knew that he needed to quickly stop this to avoid losing his self-control. But, he still wanted to take some advantage of the situation so he gently bit one of her breasts.
"Hhaaangh.~" A delicate moan escaped her lips as she woke up.
"D-darling, why did you bite me?~"
"Good morning, dear. Sorry, I couldn't control myself..."
Red said and approached her, capturing her lips in a deep kiss, pushing his tongue straight through her sweet lips.
"Mmmph... mmh...~"
After a minute of kissing, Red separated from her with a bridge of saliva still connecting them.
"Good morning, darling.~"
"Let's get up, honey. We will have breakfast and then go out on a date."
Seeing that they had slept until noon, Red decided that it was time to go.
"Yes, darling, let's go!~" Eve was very energetic now.
Getting out of the bed, they changed their clothes again using their chaos energy. Eve wore the same gothic dress with a leather jacket and black stockings that she wore yesterday and Red wore the same black suit, but this time created with chaos energy.
The breakfast was already waiting for them on the dining table and it was still warm. The table was infused with a spirit array that always kept the food warm. After eating, Red took Eve's hand and directly teleported them to the west side of the Arcadian City.

The west part of the city was famous as an entertaining area. It offered a wide variety of bars, restaurants, cinemas, parks, shops and many other facilities.
The Vaelanor Group owned many of the entertainment businesses in the west part of the city, so many buildings around this area were properties of the Vaelanor family.

Red strolled through the streets with Eve, showing her around the city. While strolling, he made sure to stop at many food stalls to buy many things for himself and Eve. Now they were walking while eating candied hawthorns.
He saw images of candied hawthorns and read about it in many novels but he never tried them in his previous life. Now it seemed that was a mistake. They were delicious!
[Host, another reminder. This is a cultivation world. Food is naturally better in this world than your previous life so this might not be the same as candied hawthorns on Earth.]
'... How does that make any sense? It's just food, no?'

"Darling~. What is that?"
Eve pointed at the store. Through the glass panel of the store one could see many crystal balls on shelves enveloped in some kind of energy. Every crystal ball was glowing with blue, green, red and different colored energies.
Red didn't have any idea about that. The original host never ventured into these stores and spent most of his time in bars, clubs and chasing girls.
"I have no idea, let's go and see."
Eve basically dragged him towards the store and entered. She was interested in many things while they were strolling through the city. She was like a child who entered a toy store. This was understandable because she had never experienced any of these things, and having been sealed for millions of years, she was bored to death.
Entering the store they saw that many people were already in the store, browsing around. Red approached one shelf to look at the tags and pricing, trying to deduce what these balls were. He looked at one crystal ball that shined with green energy.
- Earth Lizard Egg - 35 mid-grade spirit stones.
'Ohh, so these are beast eggs! I didn't expect beast eggs to look like this!'
[No, Host, that's not the egg. That crystal ball is like an incubator for the egg and contains earth elemental energy to nurture the egg. The actual egg is inside of the ball.]
'Ahh! It makes sense!'
"Darling~, what are these?"
"These are incubators, and there are beast eggs inside."
"Oh..."
Eve lost her interest a bit. She wasn't interested in beast eggs, she thought these crystal balls looked pretty and expected something else.
"Well, while one can tame wild beasts or buy them as well, it's better to buy a beast egg. Beasts that were trained and nurtured from the moment they were born usually become stronger and more loyal. Let's look around, maybe we find something interesting."
Red remembered that he was just thinking about getting a beast mount yesterday. While he could create chaos beasts with his energy, he didn't feel like doing that yet. Maybe he could get a good beast pet and hatch it using his chaos energy? Maybe there would be an interesting effect.
Taking Eve's hand, Red looked around at the other balls and tags.

He approached another shelf and read the tags.

Turtles? Red lost his interest in this shelf immediately. Why would he need a turtle?
He approached another shelf where only some purple eggs were displayed, and there were a few people looking at them...
- Purple-Lightning Wolf Cub - 2 high-grade spirit stones. -
'Now this sounds interesting. But a cub? In a crystal ball?'
[Host, cubs can also be stored in these incubators. People can put them to sleep and store them within incubators until they're sold.]
'Makes sense... But purple-lightning wolf, it sounds interesting and it's fairly expensive. Not many people can come up with high-grade spirit stones, or as many lower grade stones to cover the worth...'
High-grade spirit stones were very rare. Usually people used mid-grade or low-grade spirit stones to pay for the items. Even if the cost was in high-grade stones, merchants would accept lower grade stones as long as the value was the same.
But 2 high-grade spirit stones? In this world that would be 2,000,000 dollars! That was quite expensive.
Still, Red didn't need to worry about money, but the wolf mount? He wasn't interested. He would prefer a flying mount and these mounts weren't useful to him at all.
Red knew that in this world there were combat-type beast pets and support-type beast pets. Usually people would call them mounts if they were big enough to be ridden and would call them pets if they were small and couldn't be ridden. After that, there was also a distinction between flying mounts and normal mounts.
Red wasn't interested in pets and only looked at mounts. He looked around some more, but most of the cubs and eggs were not to his liking. They were either normal mounts or some lame species of flying mounts.
He noticed that many people had gathered around the counter of the store and were looking at one incubator enveloped with fiery energy. The incubator was locked inside of a display case and he could feel a strong energy barrier surrounding it.
He approached with Eve and looked at it too, but didn't see any tags. So he asked someone in the crowd...
"Excuse me, what's in that incubator?"
It was an old man who was looking at the incubator with a dazed look. Hearing Red's question, the old man didn't even look at him but still replied...
"That's... that's a fire wyvern egg! A real wyvern egg!" The man was obviously excited just to see it.
'A wyvern? Aren't wyverns a lesser version of dragons? There are wyverns and dragons in this world?'
[Responding to Host... There are no real dragon clans in lower realms, only wyverns who have a portion of the dragon bloodline. While they have a portion of the dragon bloodline flowing through them, they are still just ferocious beasts with limited intelligence. Still, they are very rare and are considered the strongest and most dangerous ferocious beasts in the Mortal Realm.]
'Interesting...'
Red became interested now. He approached the counter and asked the lady who was on the other side of the counter...
"Is this beast egg for sale?" He pointed at the wyvern egg.
The lady looked up and was ready to give the same explanation that she gave countless times during the day, but when she looked at the handsome appearance of Red, she lost her voice. She just stared at him in a daze.
'Sigh... Is my appearance this dangerous now?'
"Excuse me, could you please reply to my question?"
The lady finally snapped out of it, she couldn't believe how handsome he was! A big blush appeared on her face as she stammered...
"Eh? T-this... m-my apologies, but this beast egg is not for sale."
"Even if I offer a very high price?"
"Y-yes? B-but still, it's not for sale. It's going to be displayed at tomorrow's auction of the Quinn family. It is already reserved for the auction and it can't be sold. I-if you are interested in buying it, you may only do so at the auction."
"Okay, I understand. Thanks for the explanation."
Red said with a smile that left her dazed again. He turned around and left the store together with Eve. Only when he already left did she snap out of her daze and instantly regretted that she didn't ask for his contact info. Even her panties were a little wet!

After leaving the store Red continued to wander around with Eve, continuing their date.
"Darling~? Did you like that egg? Why didn't you just take it?"
Eve was confused. She knew that it was against the law to take things without permission but why would they care about that? They were the strongest in the world! Nobody could have done anything to them anyway.
"It's not right to steal, my dear, even if we can do it and nobody could do anything to us, it's still not a good thing. But it doesn't matter anyway... We will attend the auction tomorrow and, when they display this egg at the auction, I'll just buy it."
"Okay, darling.~" Eve would listen to everything he said.

In the center of the Arcadian City, inside of the big palace, Empress Aeriel was sitting on a throne, listening to a report from her servants...
"Your Majesty, Patriarch Vaelanor was seen earlier in the western part of the city, walking with a black-haired lady and entering various shops."
"Hm." Aeriel nodded and waved her hand for the servants to leave.
'That stinky man... I clearly invited him to visit me to discuss some things and, instead of coming to meet me, he is strolling the streets and enjoying his time with his wife!'
Aeriel was feeling wronged. Whenever she sent invites to anyone to visit her palace in the past, they would trip over their own legs running towards her palace to greet her immediately. And this man... She expected him to visit her right after the banquet and he actually just went home to rest! And today, a day after that, he went to the city to enjoy his time, completely disregarding her call!
