“All done.”
Holy light shimmered and spread through the room.
“That should clean up everything that happened here. Still… I feel bad for the couple who died.”
Gabriel’s expression softened with pity, her entire body bathed in radiant light.
She looked like the very image of a pure and compassionate angelic girl.
If Ethan didn’t already have the stereotype of “Fallen Angel Gabriel” firmly stuck in his head, he might have fallen for this flawless angel at first sight.
Unfortunately, he knew better.
The monster’s corpse vanished into who-knows-where after Gabriel collected it.
The blood and frost disappeared.
Even the shattered window returned to its original state.
What had once been a brutal crime scene was now spotless, as if nothing had ever happened.
Then both angels turned their gaze toward Ethan.
“Should we erase his memory too?” Gabriel asked, looking troubled.
Memory erasure?
Keyword detected.
Ethan forced a smile.
“You two beautiful angel ladies aren’t planning to wipe my memory, are you?”
“Yep.” Gabriel nodded honestly.
“We received a notice from the Heavenly Realm and rushed here to deal with a monster that came from a newly connected other world. To prevent panic in the Human Realm, we have to remove all traces of incidents like this.”
Ethan’s heart skipped a beat.
That sentence contained a lot of information.
The Heavenly Realm.
The Human Realm.
Monsters.
A newly connected other world…
Wow.
This world really wasn’t simple.
Keeping a calm face, Ethan mentally recorded every detail while thinking about how to avoid something like memory erasure.
[Ding! You possess the highest authority in the Chat Group. Your memory cannot be affected by any ability!]
Hearing the Chat Group speak up, Ethan’s eyes lit up.
Nice one, Chat Group.
Though honestly, it might not even matter now.
Because beside him, Raphiel had been quietly observing him for quite a while.
She reminded her, “Little Gab, he seems to be an Awakened.”
“Normally… he should have applied for memory-retention permission.”
Gabriel froze for a moment.
“Oh right!”
She turned to Ethan and asked,
“Was freezing that monster your ability?”🤩
“Yeah.”
A chill flowed through Ethan’s palm as he lifted his hand.
Seeing this, Gabriel and Raphiel exchanged a glance and reached a decision.
“So he really is an Awakened.”
“Alright, we’ll report this and help you apply.”
“But before that, you need to sign this.”
Gabriel pulled out a glowing sheet of paper, half black and half white, and handed it to him.
“This is a confidentiality agreement jointly drafted by the Heaven Realm, the Demon Realm, and the Afterlife.”
“After signing, please try not to reveal supernatural forces to the human world in ways that cause major impact.”
Afraid he might misunderstand, she quickly added,
“Of course, this isn’t mandatory.”
“If it’s just minor effects, we’ll be assigned to help clean things up.”
“But if it’s something big…”
Gabriel trailed off.
“If it causes harm, you might face punishment from the three realms,” Raphiel finished.
So as long as he didn’t do anything bad, it was fine.
And there wasn’t any real coercion.
Ethan shrugged.
The text looked fine, and the contract didn’t seem to contain any powerful energy.
It just looked tougher than normal paper.
So he signed his name and pressed his fingerprint onto it.
“That’s it, right?”
Gabriel took the paper back and beamed.
“Mm. Thank you for your cooperation, Mr. Ethan.”
“You don’t need to worry about the rest. We’ll handle the follow-up.”
“Let’s go, Raphiel.”
The two vanished in holy light just like when they arrived.
“Man, the extraordinary really came knocking today.”
Ethan shook his head and chuckled as he looked around the restored room.
Though the most extraordinary thing was still himself.
“2D Trading Chat Group”
Mai Sakurajima: “A-angels?!”
Back home and exhausted, Mai Sakurajima stared in shock.
First, a strange chat group had appeared.
All knowledge about it had automatically filled her mind.
Then there was the beyond-technology light screen only she could see and couldn’t describe.
There was no way she could doubt the group’s existence.
But monsters, superpowers, angels appearing in a live broadcast…
Each scene made her heart race.
It reminded her of the supernatural phenomenon happening to her.
Mai Sakurajima: “Does anyone know how to make people see someone they can’t see anymore?”🥺
Stella Vermillion: “?”
Stella Vermillion: “That name’s a mouthful… just call me Stella.”
Stella: “I don’t get what you mean by seeing and not seeing, but the chat group says we’re from different worlds… that’s wild.”
Stella: “Those monsters and angels just now too. I’ve never seen anything like that.”
She was the princess of the Vermillion Kingdom.
She had just been admitted to Hagun Academy with the top entrance score and was on her way there when the chat group suddenly appeared.
Seeing what looked like holy angels had shocked her.
Frieren: “Hmm. I can’t sense any trace of magic.”
Frieren: “It isn’t magic. At least not anything my knowledge or abilities can explain.”
In a misty forest, a figure stood in a clearing holding a staff.
White twin-tails.Green eyes with faint rainbow halos if you looked closely. And most striking of all, long pointed elf ears.
She wore a white mage robe trimmed with gold.
Her name was Frieren, an elven mage.
She had been hunting a demon and nearly got distracted by the sudden appearance of the chat group.
After killing the demon, she began studying the group.
Unfortunately, she couldn’t figure out anything.
For now, she could only believe the information it gave her.
Akame: “Trade. How do we trade?”
Akame: “If it’s money, Night Raid doesn’t have any treasure.”
As the messages rolled in, a wave of familiarity washed over Ethan.
He knew every single name.
Akame from Akame ga Kill.
Frieren from Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End.
Saeko Busujima from Highschool of the Dead.
Stella Vermillion from Chivalry of a Failed Knight.
And Mai Sakurajima…
Wasn’t she the bunny girl he saw in the library?
[Note: No one saw, touched, or bumped into her, including the male protagonist. Only Ethan could see her, and her childhood storyline will change!]
“So people from my world can join the chat group too?”
[Ding! Your chat group is the “2D Trading Chat Group.” Based on your preferences, members have been locked to ‘female 2D-style lifeforms.’]
Ethan inhaled sharply.
That basically exposed his tastes and ambitions, didn’t it?
“Stop. Say no more.”
“Let me check the chat group functions first.”
[Ding! Current functions: Chat Room, Live Broadcast, Trading System. More features await your discovery!]
The chat room and live broadcast were self-explanatory.
The trading system was the important one.
Trading System: All members may submit trade requests to the group owner, Ethan.
[Ding! After a request is submitted, as group owner you may choose from their abilities, possessions, or energy resources.]
[Ding! Based on your preferences, a special option has been added: “Body Usage Rights.”]
“B-Body usage rights?”
Ethan’s eyes widened.😳
Am I really that much of a perv?
Wait… I don’t seem to age.
“Alright, alright. I get it.”
His tastes were exposed, but no one could hear him anyway.
Straightening his expression, he finally spoke in the chat.
Ethan: “Welcome to the 2D Trading Chat Group.”
Ethan: “You already know everything you need to know.”
Ethan: “Now… trading begins.”
“…..”
“Chat Group: Harem Fights For Me”
