‘I’ve been possessed.’ I even remembered seeing the download reach 100% on the monitor.
What greeted me afterward was the vast blue sky and clouds above a huge forest, and the sheer beauty of nature made one thought flash through my mind: I had been transported into the game Isekai Conquest.
‘This is Cargo Forest.
The southern grassland valley leading to Galatea.’
Swish…
I slowly pushed myself up from where I had been sprawled on the ground and looked around.
As I did, all sorts of information flooded into my head—my location, the surrounding terrain, and more.
The most important keyword among them was, without a doubt, “Status Window.”
‘Hmm, as expected.
No other character name came to mind, so I’ve been possessed under my real name.’ When I called up the status window, the familiar Isekai Conquest character screen appeared before my eyes.
‘Aha, so that’s why the name didn’t change.’ If I had started in Mohican World Conquest mode, I would have become one of the Mohicans.
Yet the name felt completely un-Mohican, which puzzled me—until I scrolled through the profile and understood.
Race:Half-human, half-Mohican barbarian (classified as barbarian)
Age:23
Height:190 cm
Weight:106 kg
Length:Flaccid 16.5 cm / Erect 26 cm
Personality:Somewhat aggressive, somewhat cold-blooded
‘So I’m a half-blood.’ I wasn’t a pure-blooded Mohican, but a mix of human and Mohican barbarian.
More precisely, my father was human and my mother was Mohican.
‘Judging by my father’s appearance, he definitely wasn’t from the Pangea continent.’ As I processed the profile, memories of Geum Taeyang—the half-human, half-Mohican barbarian—surged into my mind like a flood.
The central continent of this otherworld, Pieta, was Pangea.
The kingdoms and empires there had a medieval feel with a touch of early modern Europe.
But my surname, Geum, clearly had an Eastern vibe.
I recalled hearing during certain story clears about a mysterious empire across the sea.
Since my mother had first met my father while saving him after he washed ashore, my real father was probably from that empire.
‘Overall, I take after my mother more.
I lost my parents young in my original world, and now I’ve lost them here too.
What a tragic life.’
The hero’s growth story is always turbulent.
My parents met through a strange twist of fate and tried to live among humans, but when that didn’t work out, they went into hiding and had me.
My father died of an epidemic first, and my mother passed away before I reached puberty.
‘That’s how a hero who changes world history is reborn as something special—just like how I’ve been possessed into this game.’ The main developer of Isekai Conquest had boasted that an overpowered barbarian hero would appear and turn the pathetically weak barbarian tribes into a superpower capable of conquering the world.
And now I’ve been possessed as that very person.
My combat level and profile were things I’d already experienced through other modes, so I guessed the remaining status window sections would contain the overpowered cheat options.
‘As expected!’ The items that unfolded afterward did not disappoint my expectations.
“1.
Super Handsome” — You are the ultimate beauty who captivates both humans and barbarians.
Life is on easy mode, especially with female characters.
“2.
Peerless Martial Body” — You were born with the strongest possible physique.
Your combat power grows rapidly without effort, and you can instantly learn any technique you desire.
“3.
Poison Immunity” — You are immune to all poisons in Pieta, as well as various dark magic debuffs and attacks.
“4.
Fortuitous Encounters” — You are destined to meet benefactors and opportunities constantly, unless you deliberately avoid them.
“5.
Monopolizing Fortuitous Encounters” — All transcendent opportunities from other modes are arranged to aid your growth.
“6.
Heavenly Intuition” — You possess near-omniscient insight and judgment.
Combined with your game knowledge, its effects are amplified.
You also remain calm despite recognizing your possession state.
“7.
Eye of the Transcendent” — You can view other characters’ status windows (some high-tier targets may not display fully).
Does not activate if the target’s face is covered and identity is unknown.
“8.
Infinite Stamina” — You possess boundless, explosive stamina perfect for maintaining a harem.
“9.
Casanova” — Once intimacy begins, your partner becomes hopelessly addicted.
You are the ultimate sex master with perfect compatibility and powerful pheromones.
“10.
Trait Synergy” — All cheat traits work independently but also generate powerful synergies (e.g., Casanova + Peerless Martial Body).
‘Nicely packed.’ The ten cheat traits flooded me with dopamine like a downpour.
‘This is convenient.
The Heavenly Intuition trait is already active.
That’s why I’ve been so calm after possession.’ I didn’t need to read every single word in detail.
Because these traits were already mine, Heavenly Intuition activated and let me grasp the entire cheeky cheat mode content just by skimming the names.
From now on, you will be addressed as Conqueror Geum Taeyang.
Your absolute mission is to conquer the world as a Mohican.
Failure will result in the removal of your cheat mode.
Conqueror Geum Taeyang has completed system recognition.
Tutorial will now begin.
“Kuhahaha!
I thought you’d be hard to catch, but you’re just lazing around here, barbarian!”
The moment the tutorial entry message appeared, a rough, boorish voice rang out from behind me.
I could roughly guess the owner’s personality from the tone alone.
‘Bandits.’ There were four of them in total.
The moment I turned and saw them, memories as Conqueror Geum Taeyang and the cheat trait Heavenly Intuition activated.
