After that, all the students gathered on the ground for the Section ‘A’ vs Section ‘B’ competition.
Both section presidents announced the games their teams would participate in, and soon the competitions began.
First was the girls’ race, which Section ‘A’ won.
Then came the boys’ race, and once again Section ‘A’ took the victory.
After that, the boys’ basketball match started, and Section ‘A’ won that too.
Next was girls’ tennis, where Section ‘A’ continued their winning streak.
Finally, the last game was chess.
This time, Section ‘B’ won the match.
As soon as Section ‘B’ claimed victory in chess, Aria’s mood instantly got ruined because she wanted Section ‘A’ to achieve a perfect victory.
Soon after, the final bell rang, and all the students started leaving the school.
Aria looked at Shin with a tired expression.
“why did the other sections even come today?”
Shin shrugged casually.
“Come on, you should be thankful our competition was only between Section A and Section B.
If we had gone against Section C or D, it would’ve turned into a complete disaster.”
Aria raised an eyebrow.
“Why?
Are they that good at games?”
Shin let out a small laugh and shook his head.
“No.
They’re just unbelievably rude.
Last year they cheated and still won.
And when Jennifer tried to expose them, they created chaos everywhere.
Even the girls from those sections are trouble.”
Aria smirked slightly.
“As if Section B is any better.”
Shin placed a hand dramatically over his chest.
“Alright, alright.
Forget that.
Today, I’m giving you a party because our section won.”
Aria gasped in fake shock.
“You?
Giving a party?”
Before Shin could reply, someone suddenly pulled Aria’s hair from behind.
Thinking it was Roy, Aria instantly turned around and nearly punched the person.
Her fist stopped midway the moment she realized who it was.
Ash.
Ash blinked at her curiously.
“You were seriously about to hit me.
Why did you stop?”
Aria sighed and lowered her hand.
“Sorry.
I thought you were my friend.”
“Oh.” Ash nodded casually.
“Okay.”
He turned to leave, but suddenly Aria remembered something.
“Wait.”
Ash looked back at her.
“Why did you pull my hair?”
“You were about to fall,” he replied calmly.
Aria crossed her arms immediately.
“I was not going to fall.
I was acting.”
Ash frowned slightly in confusion.
“Acting?
In the corridor?”
Aria lifted her chin proudly.
“My friend was giving me a party for the first time, so I got excited.
And even if I was acting, did I break any rules?
And if I did, why do you care?”
A faint smile appeared on Ash’s face.
“Fair enough.
By the way, what’s your name?”
“Aria.”
“Nice name.”
“And yours?”
“Ash.”
“Okay.”
Ash smiled again, softer this time.
“Nice to meet you, Aria.
I hope we meet again soon.”
Aria immediately replied without hesitation,
“Bad to meet you, Ash.
And I hope we never meet again.”
Shin burst out laughing while Ash stood there speechless.
After that, everyone returned home.
The next morning, Aria and Shin entered the school together.
Suddenly, a girl intentionally bumped into Aria’s shoulder while passing by.
Annoyed, Aria pushed her back slightly.
The girl instantly turned around with an angry expression.
Shin’s face immediately paled.
“Aria… run.”
“What?”
“JUST RUN!”
Without questioning further, Aria quickly rushed into the nearest classroom and hid behind one of the desks.
Unfortunately for her, Ash was already sitting inside the classroom.
Aria crouched quietly, trying not to make a sound.
A few seconds later, the same girl stormed into the room.
“Where is that newcomer?!” she shouted angrily.
Ash slowly stood up from his seat.
Without warning, he grabbed Aria’s wrist, pulled her out from behind the desk, and pointed directly at her.
“There.”
Then a teasing smirk appeared on his face.
“The newcomer you’re looking for.”
His eyes met Aria’s.
“Nice to meet you again, Aria.”
Aria stared at him in disbelief.
Traitor.
The girl glared at Aria coldly.
“You jump around like a monkey all day, but today you crossed the line.
How dare you harass the Queen of New Spring Academy?”
Aria blinked innocently.
“Sorry.
My hand touched you by mistake.”
The girl narrowed her eyes.
“Oh really?
By mistake?”
Aria shrugged casually.
“I was just moving my hand around.
You came in between.”
“If it was a mistake,” the girl snapped, “then why did you run?”
Aria answered instantly,
“Well, when you suddenly turned around, I got scared after seeing your face.
I thought, ‘Which monster is this?’ So I ran.”
The classroom fell silent for a second.
Lita’s expression darkened with fury.
“First you hit me, and now you’re insulting my face too?!”
Aria tilted her head slightly.
“If a face is scary, then what else should I call it?”
Lita clenched her fists tightly.
“Before insulting me, maybe you should look at yourself first.
You act like some wild monkey all day.
Other than talking nonsense and jumping around, what can you even do?”
She stepped closer and smirked cruelly.
“Honestly, your whole family is probably the same.
Maybe your mother is a monkey too.”
The atmosphere changed instantly.
Before anyone could react, Aria’s fist flew straight toward Lita’s face.
At that exact moment, Roy appeared from nowhere and grabbed Aria’s arm, trying to stop her.
But even he couldn’t completely block the punch.
SMACK!!!
A loud sound echoed through the classroom.
Lita stumbled backward as blood dripped from her nose.
She screamed in pain.
Roy looked at her coldly.
“Do you even know who you picked a fight with?”
Lita glared at him furiously.
“With who?!”
Roy answered calmly,
“With Aria.”
Ash let out a small laugh.
“What kind of joke was that?
I forgot to laugh.”
Aria rolled her eyes instantly.
“And who asked you to laugh?”
Lita wiped the blood from her nose angrily.
“So now all of you are taking her side?” she snapped.
“Who even is she?
Just an ordinary girl… or maybe a characterless one.”
Before anyone could reply, Aria’s phone suddenly rang.
The moment she looked at the screen, her expression changed completely.
All the playfulness disappeared from her face.
Without saying a word, she immediately ran outside the school building.
Shin, Roy, Ash, and even Lita followed behind her in confusion.
The moment they stepped outside, everyone froze.
Nearly twelve or thirteen luxurious black cars were lined up in front of the academy.
The people standing beside them lowered their heads respectfully the second they saw Aria.
Without wasting another second, Aria quickly sat inside one of the cars.
She rolled the window down slightly and looked at them seriously.
“My grandmother’s condition is getting worse.
I have to leave right now.”
Her voice softened for a moment.
“I’ll explain everything else later on the phone.”
The window rolled back up.
A second later, the convoy of black luxury cars drove away together, leaving everyone standing there in complete shock.
