Inside one of the tunnels on the fourth floor of the Kobold Mine, a group of kobolds stood on guard, walking in a straight line.
Kreek! Kreek!
They communicated with one another through sharp screeches.
Cling!
Suddenly, the kobold at the rear of the line heard something. It stopped and turned its head back. In the next instant, a figure appeared right in front of it. Before it could even react, its head fell from its body.
The kobolds ahead met the same fate, one after another.
After a moment, the figure revealed himself.
[Phantom Magus Class Efficiency increased by 100%]
[Your Max CP increased by 1!]
"This class is amazing! It’s by far the best among the others. I can approach enemies without being detected so easily." Lars said excitedly.
Thanks to the passive skill Phantom Veil, Lars could conceal his presence with ease. Combined with unique magical attacks like Spectral Bolt and mobility skills like Blink Step, Phantom Magus was an incredibly versatile class.
But then, something clicked in his mind, something he had never considered before.
’What if someone more talented and experienced obtained this class? Wouldn’t it cause a huge imbalance in the hunter community? And what if the one who get this is a bad guy?’
Gulp!
Lars swallowed his saliva. From now on, he would need to be careful about which classes he sold. Otherwise, it could cause chaos.
"Good job! Good job! Another perfect execution by you!" Justin approached him, tapping his shoulder while recording.
"Are you seriously recording me right now? You said you’d only record me in the boss room!" Lars raised his hand, trying to cover his face.
"That was my initial plan. But man... your class skills are just too powerful. I don’t want to miss any of it. Say hi to my followers!" Justin said.
"Are you livestreaming right now?! Alright, alright, listen. First of all, can you please censor my face? I don’t want it to be seen by everyone on the internet."
"But... why do you want to censor it? I mean, I know your face is ugly, but there’s no fun in censoring it."
"Aisshh, this guy! It’s my right, so you need to respect it. And you don’t have to say out loud that I’m ugly. Secondly, you need to stay alert while we’re in the dungeon. Monsters can appear out of nowhere and attack you. I can’t always watch your back. Got it?"
"Sigh... fine. I will just record when you’re in the boss room." Justin looked defeated.
"Good! Now let’s go. Only the boss room remains." Lars continued walking toward the final floor.
After a few minutes, they finally arrived in front of the boss room door.
"Let’s take a short rest. I need to refill my MP first." Lars said. He hadn’t brought any supplies, as HP potions were already expensive, and MP potions were five times worse. He simply waited for his MP to regenerate on its own.
"While we’re waiting, do you want to hear why I started dungeon vlogging?" Justin suddenly asked.
"No." Lars replied shortly as he continued scrolling through his system.
"Okay, since you’re so interested, I have no choice but to tell you."
"Hey!"
"It all started two years ago. I had just begun vlogging. Back then, I focused on wellness and positive vibes. I had a decent number of followers. But one day, while I was on vacation, a dungeon break happened nearby, and I recorded hunters fighting monsters. And guess what? That single video got more views than all the videos I had ever made before.
"So I decided to change my direction and become a dungeon vlogger. I spent all my money buying this heavy equipment you see behind me to chase my dream for one million followers. So, how is it? Is my story motivating you?"
"Yes, it really is. " Lars replied sarcastically. He then walked away to the other side.
"I need to pee for a bit."
"Do you know you’re not supposed to pee or poop inside a dungeon? Monsters might think you’re marking territory."
"I think there’s another reason behind that." Lars ignored him. In truth, he was planning something.
’That guy is recording all my class skills. If someone online recognizes them, especially someone who bought my classes, they will figure out I’m the seller. I don’t want people chasing me all day.’
"So now... let’s open some packs." Lars smiled. His Creation Points had fully reset, and he wanted to create a new class, one exclusively for himself.
"This time, let’s open the second pack, Genesis Overload!"
1,500 Creator Coins were deducted from the 6000 coins he had. A pack materialized in Lars’s hand, designed with a majestic armored figure posing proudly.
He unsealed the pack and looked at the first card.
[Spearman]
Type: Base Class
Card Rarity: Common (White Card Frame)
Stats:
ATK: +10%
"A spearman? That’s actually a good class. It has mid-range attacks and a variety of offensive options."
Next card.
[Mighty Force I]
Type: Class Trait
Card Rarity: Uncommon (Green Card Frame)
Effect:
Increase ATK of a class by 25%
"What is this? A class trait card?" Lars was confused.
[Class Trait Card can be inserted and combined with a class when using Generate Class.]
"Ahh, I see. Then this is a great card! I can create a powerful class with high ATK using this."
Then came the last card. Lars’s eyes widened, and he quickly covered his mouth to stop himself from shouting.
It had a blue frame, a Rare rarity card.
[Lucky Potion I]
Type: Consumable
Rarity: Rare (Blue Card Frame)
Effect:
Increase the chance of obtaining a higher-rank class when using Generate Class or Combine Class skill by 25% for 1 minute.
"This card... is the best one I’ve ever pulled! If only I had more Creation Points, I could create even more rare classes right now."
Lars immediately materialized the potion and drank it. The green-colored liquid tasted like green apple and it was surprisingly pleasant.
[Lucky Potion effect active for 1 minute!]
Lars then opened the Generate Class skill and ready to create a new class. One that would leave many in awe.
