Chapter 15 Confrontation

Class Creator:I Can Create Infinite Classes

Lizard Mountain Dungeon

Floor 10 (Boss Room)

"Impulse Swing!"

Swoosh!

The giant lizard boss collapsed onto its side as its HP dropped to zero. A burst of loot exploded outward.

[You have cleared the Lizard Mountain dungeon. Max CP increased by 1. Current Maximum CP is 20.]

’Finally... I’ve reached 20 at last. Now I can move to the next phase.’ Lars thought, wiping the sweat from his forehead.

"Another clean execution, Lars. You’re really on fire these days. Thanks to you, my channel is now in the top 100 in the nation. Next, I’m aiming for top 10." Justin handed him a bottle of isotonic water.

"How many followers do you have now? Ten thousand?" Lars asked while drinking.

"I passed that two days ago. Right now, it’s close to 17,000. I expect it to hit 20,000 by tomorrow."

"Alright. I think that’s enough for today. I’m heading to the dungeon hub to sell all this loot."

"Okay! Don’t forget to invite me next time!"

Thirty minutes later, Lars arrived at the Dungeon Hub. It had been unusually busy these past few days. Hunters were rushing to complete quests, while others crowded the stalls to sell their loot.

He didn’t realize that all of this was because of him.

Word had spread about an anonymous seller with access to mysterious, never-before-seen classes. Now, hunters everywhere were eager to get their hands on one.

Lars headed to the Loot Shop to sell his items. Just as he was about to approach the counter, a pair of hunters suddenly cut in front of the queue.

"Hey. What are you doing? I was the one who arrived first," Lars said. He didn’t care who he was facing. As long as they were in the wrong, he would call them out.

"Ohh, sorry. I didn’t notice you. Hey, Benn Strong, let him go first, you cut someone’s queue," Denis said.

"Huh?! I don’t have time to play nice. He’s the one who doesn’t have the strength to stop others from cutting him," Benn Strong snapped. Right now, he was extremely irritated. The bid for War Templar had already ended at 49,000 Zents and he was just a few thousand short of winning it.

"What did you just say?" Lars’s anger began to rise. He couldn’t hold himself back when someone called him weak.

Benn Strong turned to face him. His body was packed with muscles, standing nearly 1.9 meters tall. His face was covered with a thick blond beard and moustache that matched his hair.

"I said... you are weak!" Benn Strong repeated, this time even louder.

"How dare you!" Lars was about to charge forward when suddenly his hand was grabbed by someone. He turned his head and was shocked.

The one holding him back was Lucien, one of the top S-Rank hunters in the nation.

"Lucien..." Denis and Benn Strong’s eyes sharpened the moment they saw him.

After all, Lucien’s company, Golden Wing, was a direct rival of Mazeltov.

Lars pulled his hand away and stepped back slightly. It seemed he had been caught in the middle of something far bigger.

"It seems Mazeltov Company has started targeting weak hunters now, just to soothe their frustration over failing to remain in the nation’s top 10," Lucien said with a smirk. His red hair and elegant battle tuxedo gave him a striking presence.

"You dare say that after your company just recently surpassed us on the leaderboard? Before this, you were below us for years." Denis shot back.

"Yes, I admit we were below you before. But now, things have changed. Your boss’s old methods are no longer relevant in this new era. Sooner or later, your company will collapse."

Denis and Benn Strong just stared at Lucien. What he said wasn’t entirely wrong.

"Alright. I won’t waste my time or yours. I’m scheduled to clear a Rank 12 dungeon today. What a nuisance." Lucien walked casually past Denis and Benn Strong.

"Rank 12? He’s really raiding a dungeon at that level?" Lars couldn’t believe it. Dungeons were ranked from 1 to 20 based on difficulty. Anything rank 10 and above was considered extremely dangerous. Only top-tier professional hunters were qualified to clear them.

"Tch! I’m getting out of here." Benn Strong walked away, no longer in the mood to sell his loot. Denis followed behind him.

"What is wrong with them?" Lars shaked his head. He then continued his business before heading into an Auction Room.

"Alright... which class should I duplicate? Hmmm... maybe Blazing Archmage. It seems like a lot of people are talking about it."

Ding!

[You have successfully duplicated Blazing Archmage class. 20 CP have been deducted.]

A Class Book appeared in Lars’s hand. He placed it into the scanning box and started the bidding. This time, there was no lock price, and the duration was set to 24 hours.

"Eh! Melodie, look at this! The Blazing Archmage class is here again! The seller listed it again!" Elisa said excitedly. They were currently at a shopping mall, spending their free time.

"Is that true?" Melodie leaned over to check and it was really there. Last time, she had tried to bid on this class for Elisa, but someone crazy had instantly locked it at 40,000 Zents.

But this time, she wouldn’t lose. Her friend was counting on her, and she would do her best.

"What’s the current bid? Is there a lock price?" Melodie sat at a nearby table and opened her phone that projecting a holographic interface.

"Current top bidder is 33,000 Zents. There’s no lock price this time," Elisa said.

"The seller now knows he has the upper hand in this situation. The key to this kind of bidding is to stay calm and not react too quickly to every increase."

Melodie focused on her interface, not noticing the expression on her friend’s face behind her.

’Yes, that’s right. You should do your best to make up for your failure before’. Elisa thought as a faint smirk forming on her lips.
