Chapter 8 Solo Dungeon

Class Creator:I Can Create Infinite Classes

Lars arrived at the Dungeon Plaza of District 21. The Dungeon Plaza was a place where many dungeons were gathered in one location. There were numerous dungeon plazas across all 72 districts of Rahiel State. Sometimes, a single district even had more than one.

In District 21, the Dungeon Plaza contained 30 dungeons, ranging from Rank 1 to Rank 5. It was well known as a hotspot for beginner hunters.

Right now, the plaza was crowded with people as Lars arrived. It felt almost like a carnival. Many families were having picnics outside while their relatives ventured into dungeons. With Revival Crystals widely available, it had become very rare for hunters to suffer fatal injuries as long they were following standard of procedure.

"I need to queue just to enter a dungeon? This is ridiculous." Lars was irritated. After 45 minutes in line, he finally managed to enter a Rank 1 dungeon, The Rat Nest. He even had to pay 20 Zents just to get in.

"Talk about easy money."

Once teleported, the dungeon appeared as a cave-like area, with many paths interconnected by chambers.

"Alright! Now which class should I test?" Lars rubbed his hands as he looked at the classes at his disposal. Right now, he had three classes he had created.

Lunar Blader.

Blazing Archmage.

And Phantom Magus.

[Choosing higher-ranking classes when your Stability stats are low will reduce your class potential. At your current stats, equipping an Uncommon class will result in a 10% restriction, Rare 25%, Unique 50%, Epic 75%, and Legendary 90%.]

The system explained.

"Hmm... that means if I equip Blazing Archmage or Phantom Magus, I will have 10% of my stats and skill abilities restricted? Then I will go with Lunar Blader first. It’s Common, so there’s no restriction."

Lars switched to the Lunar Blader class. Immediately, a warm symbol appeared on his right hand, and the same symbol formed beneath his feet, creating a glowing magic circle.

[You have equipped the Lunar Blader class!]

[All stats have been converted to standard attributes]

"My stats have all changed to standard attributes. And honestly they’re not bad. I’m at least comparable to a level 10 to level 15 hunter."

Lars looked at himself. There was no significant change in his appearance, except for the symbol on his right hand. A purple emblem of a moon and blade.

"Well... I guess that’s it. Let’s go deeper into the dungeon." Lars walked into the deeper chambers.

Soon, he encountered a group of Giant Rats, each about one meter in size.

Lars trembled slightly as the Giant Rats stared at him. To be honest, he was scared. In his short six-month career as a dungeon hunter, he had never actually fought a monster before. The dungeon where he obtained the Primordial Class was full of traps, but luckily contained no monsters.

One of the Giant Rats charged at him. Lars gripped the steel sword he had bought when he first became a dungeon hunter, worth only 50 Zents. As the Giant Rat drew closer, his body trembled even more.

However, as memories of his past hardships and struggles surfaced, and the fact that he now possessed a near-omnipotent class, Lars steeled his resolve.

"If I’m scared and retreat now, I will never escape from the hell. The hell that is known as debt!"

"Twin Crescent!"

Lars unleashed a double slash, instantly cutting the rat into three pieces.

[Lunar Blader Class Efficiency increased by 1%]

"I... I did it. I really killed my first monster!" Lars exclaimed as excitement surging through him. At that moment, a spark of bloodlust ignited in his heart, and he began hunting every rat on each floor, pushing all the way to the fourth.

"Lunar Step!"

"Silver Arc!"

"Twin Crescent!"

By the fourth floor, a group of nearly fifty Giant Rats was completely obliterated by Lars. He then arrived at the boss door. Without hesitation, he stepped inside the boss room.

The boss was a Giant Rat King, a Rank B boss monster. It immediately rushed at Lars the moment he entered. Lars activated Moon Guard to block the attack.

Unfortunately, his timing was off, and he failed to trigger the counter slash. Still, he used Lunar Step to evade the boss’s attacks, steadily chipping away at its health with precise strikes.

Soon, the boss entered its berserk mode. Without hesitation, Lars activated Lunar Annihilation, and the boss was mercilessly executed.

[Lunar Blader efficiency reached 100%!]

[Your maximum Creation Points have increased by 1!]

[You have successfully cleared the Rat Nest dungeon for the first time. Maximum Creation Points increased by 1!]

"Wow! With just one dungeon run, I already gained two Max CP. This is really good. Now I finally understand what it feels like to have a strong class... this is amazing! Ahahaha!"

Lars laughed out loud. Soon, he collected the loot from the boss and exited the dungeon.

His next destination, the Kobold Mine.

Sky Island Dungeon

15th Floor (Boss Room)

"Lunar Annihilation!"

Swords rained down from the sky, striking the Sky Dragon and draining its last breath.

"Huff... huff... huff..." Melodie breathed heavily as she wiped the sweat from her forehead.

"That was amazing, Mel!"

"Yeah, you took down that boss all by yourself! You’re really talented."

The girls showered Melodie with praise. She was currently leading her all-female party through the Sky Island Dungeon, a Rank 4 dungeon.

"It’s nothing..." Melodie said with a smile. But inside, she was thrilled to hear her close friends praising her.

"Man, I really want a class like yours. Ours are just common and basic classes. Yours must be some kind of exclusive class, right?" Elisa, the mage of the party, said.

"Err... not really. I just met someone who happened to have this kind of class."

"Is it a man?"

"Y-yes..." Melodie replied.

"Ehh, is that so? Then can you ask him to sell good Class Books to us? We’d be really happy if he could sell us exclusive classes like yours." Lina, the archer of the group, said.

Melodie thought for a moment before speaking.

"Alright. I will try to talk to him and ask."

"Yeah!! Mel-chan is the best!"

"We love you, Mel-chan!"

The girls cheered. Melodie turned toward the Exit Teleport with a smile on her face.

But behind her, the girls expressions changed.

’Huh... do you think you’re so great just because you have a strong class?’

’You better get that class for us. If not, you’re not fit to stay in this group.’

To them, Melodie was just someone to take advantage of, her strength and her status. Of course, Melodie knew nothing about it.
