Chapter 16

Crazy Soldier Has Reincarnated

The streets of the Royal City of Monotiz were as lively as ever.

Merchants shouted as they advertised their goods.

Horse carriages moved back and forth along the main roads.

Adventurers walked around with weapons hanging at their waists.

Amid the bustling crowd, Izumi walked with a gloomy expression.

The second day of her period was no longer as painful as yesterday, but her mood had yet to improve.

Beside her, Berin walked while occasionally glancing at Izumi's expression.

"Rumi, are you really okay?"

Izumi nodded lightly.

"Yeah."

Though inwardly, she was still complaining.

Why is a woman's body so troublesome...

Even during war, I never felt this exhausted.

A few minutes later, they arrived in front of a large building.

Izumi raised her head.

Then fell silent.

"This is the shop?"

Berin nodded proudly.

"That's right."

Izumi looked at the building from top to bottom.

Its walls were made of white stone.

Its windows were large.

Its entrance was decorated with two crossed swords.

Inwardly, Izumi muttered.

Is this a clothing shop or a weapon store...?

While observing the building, her attention was drawn elsewhere.

Not far away stood another building that was far busier.

Dozens of people entered and exited nonstop.

Adventurers equipped with all kinds of gear gathered there.

Izumi pointed toward the building.

"What's that?"

Berin turned around.

"Oh, that?"

"That's the Guild."

Izumi became a little curious.

"Guild?"

"All adventurers, regardless of kingdom, use the same Guild."

"The Guild was designed directly by the System."

Izumi nodded slowly.

She had been hearing quite a lot about the System lately.

Berin continued.

"Even non-Players can access some of the System's functions through their adventurer cards."

"Oh..."

For a brief moment, curiosity appeared in Izumi's eyes.

Berin noticed immediately.

"Want to go there afterward?"

Izumi nodded without hesitation.

"Of course."

Seeing that reaction, Berin chuckled.

"Alright."

"But let's finish here first."

The two entered the shop.

The bell hanging above the door rang softly.

Ting...

"Aunt Maaaay!"

Berin's voice echoed through the shop.

Not long afterward, a middle-aged woman emerged from the back room.

She had light brown hair.

And a friendly face.

"Oh?"

"Berin."

The woman smiled.

"It's unusual to see you here."

"Do you need something?"

Berin shook her head.

"Not me."

"My friend does."

As she spoke, Berin pushed Izumi forward.

"Eh?"

Izumi nearly lost her balance.

The woman named May looked at Izumi.

Her eyes immediately sparkled.

"Wow..."

"She's beautiful."

Izumi laughed awkwardly.

"Thank you..."

Berin immediately began explaining.

"Her name is Rumi."

"She came from a village."

"All by herself."

"All. By. Herself."

May's eyes widened.

"What?"

"Really?"

Izumi nodded.

"Yeah."

May covered her mouth.

"That's incredibly rare."

"Girls your age usually wouldn't dare travel such a long distance alone."

Berin nodded quickly.

"She's also an amazing adventurer."

May looked even more interested.

"Really?"

"Oh right."

May clapped her hands.

"Auntie almost forgot."

"My nephew should be arriving soon."

Berin immediately looked annoyed.

"Rey?"

May smiled.

"You two have known each other since childhood."

"You used to play together all the time."

Berin immediately turned her face away.

"Enough."

"I don't want to hear about him."

Then she pushed Izumi forward again.

"Here."

"She needs underwear."

Izumi instantly froze.

May merely chuckled.

"I see."

Then she looked at Izumi.

"Rumi dear."

"Yes?"

"Come with Auntie."

"Let's go to the fitting room."

Izumi immediately panicked.

"W-Wait!"

May stopped.

"Hm?"

Izumi looked hesitant.

"There isn't anyone else in there, right?"

May immediately laughed.

"Hahaha."

"So you're a shy girl."

Izumi laughed awkwardly.

"Yeah..."

May nodded.

"Don't worry."

"It'll only be the two of us."

Hearing that, Izumi finally felt relieved.

A few minutes later.

May held up a bra.

"What about this one?"

"It has a flower pattern."

"I think the size will fit."

Izumi accepted it.

"Alright."

She entered the fitting room.

A short while later, her voice came from behind the curtain.

"It's too tight."

May thought for a moment.

"Then try this one."

The next size was handed over.

Still didn't fit.

Then another size.

And another.

After trying for quite a while, Izumi finally found the correct size.

"Wow."

"This one's comfortable."

"Not too big."

"Not too small."

"Perfect."

May smiled in satisfaction.

"Good."

"Then the underwear should fit properly too."

She handed over a matching set.

A few minutes later, Izumi stepped out.

"This is comfortable too."

"Though the fabric is a bit rough."

May sighed.

"That's the problem."

"The fabric quality in this kingdom still isn't very good."

May looked at several pieces of clothing she had sewn herself.

"If only I had better materials."

"I could create clothing that was much more comfortable."

The moment she heard those words, Izumi suddenly froze.

"Create..."

May blinked.

"Hm?"

But Izumi wasn't listening anymore.

Her eyes widened.

A massive realization had just struck her.

Damn it!

How could I forget that?!

How could I forget my own skill?!

She had been so busy adapting to this new world that she had forgotten something incredibly important.

The ability to create objects.

A power she had possessed since the moment she arrived in this world.

Instantly, Izumi raised her hand.

A white light appeared.

May's eyes widened.

"What is that?!"

Particles of light gathered in the air.

Then slowly began forming something.

A military uniform.

A long coat.

Pants.

A cap.

Boots.

Even the medals she had earned in the past.

Everything appeared out of nowhere.

May fell silent.

Izumi stared at the clothing.

Then put it on.

A few seconds later.

She stood there quietly.

"..."

May blinked.

"What's wrong?"

Izumi answered flatly.

"It's too big."

She looked down at her body.

Just how big was my old body...?

May stepped closer.

"Rumi dear."

"May I take a look?"

"Of course."

May carefully examined the uniform.

The longer she looked, the more shocked she became.

"The fabric is incredibly smooth."

"The stitching is unbelievably precise."

"It's durable."

"And the design is beautiful."

May looked up.

"Rumi dear."

"Where did you get these clothes?"

Izumi immediately fell silent.

"Umm..."

May instantly understood.

"It's a secret, isn't it?"

Izumi nodded.

May smiled.

"That's alright."

"Auntie won't force you."

She returned her attention to the uniform.

"Besides..."

"If it's too large, I can make a version that fits you."

"As long as you have more of the same material."

Izumi immediately replied.

"That's easy."

Her hand glowed once more.

In an instant, several rolls of fabric appeared on the table.

May froze.

Meanwhile, Izumi began recalling the past.

The time she ordered custom military uniforms.

The time she selected different kinds of fabric.

Thin fabric.

Thick fabric.

Soft fabric.

Rough fabric.

Heat-resistant fabric.

Water-resistant fabric.

She remembered all of them.

And every detail remained perfectly clear in her memory.

May stared at the rolls of fabric in amazement.

Inside her mind, a question began forming.

Who exactly is this girl...?

There is no way she's just an ordinary village girl.

But she had no intention of digging deeper.

It was obvious that Izumi was hiding many secrets.

And forcing someone to reveal their secrets was impolite.

Izumi pointed at several rolls of fabric.

"Use this one for the pants."

"This one for the shirt."

"And this white fabric for the coat."

May nodded.

"That's a lot of fabric."

"How many outfits do you want made?"

Izumi thought for a moment.

"Two sets?"

May smiled.

"Of course."

"And the rest?"

"Can you use all of it?"

May chuckled.

"Naturally."

"Everything should be finished within a week."

Izumi nodded in satisfaction.

"Then I'm counting on you."

"Oh right."

Suddenly, white light appeared again.

This time it wasn't clothing.

Instead, various sewing tools appeared.

Thread.

Needles.

Special scissors.

And numerous other tools that May had never seen before.

May was completely speechless.

"T-These..."

Izumi smiled slightly.

"For you."

Meanwhile.

Outside the shop.

Berin sat waiting.

Quite a long time had passed.

Yet Izumi still hadn't come out.

"Why is she taking so long..."

At that moment, someone walked toward the shop.

A tall young man with dark brown hair.

The moment he saw Berin, he immediately stopped.

"Berin?"

Berin turned around.

And her expression instantly changed.
