Kiana was in a state of absolute panic.

A red-haired woman with an ashen complexion lay motionless on her living room sofa.

Her eyes were vacant, staring blankly at the ceiling, and jagged purple cracks webbed across her pale skin.Full novel: Crossover: Monthly Character Templates in the Multiverse Chat Group — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

The heavy, futuristic armor she wore was completely shattered, leaving a gaping, jagged hole over her chest where a glowing core should have been.

Meanwhile, Kiana’s phone rested on the coffee table, the speakerphone still broadcasting an ongoing call.

Her teacher’s voice echoed from the device, sounding completely normal.

“Kiana, are you still listening?

I’ll be back in half an hour.

You’re not secretly eating instant noodles again, are you?”

“Absolutely not!

No, let’s talk later.

I have a massive emergency here.

Gotta go!” Kiana slammed her hand onto the screen, ending the call.

She stared down at the sofa.

She was absolutely certain the person she had just been talking to on the phone was her teacher, Himeko.

So who in the world was the dying Himeko bleeding out in her living room?

Was her apartment haunted?

Hands trembling, she pulled up the multiversal chat group interface and frantically typed out a message explaining the situation.

She barely registered Yixuan’s reply before a system prompt flashed across her vision: Frez had initiated a travel request.

Kiana didn’t hesitate for a fraction of a second.

She slammed the ‘Agree’ button.

Space warped, and Frez materialized in the center of the room.

He didn’t waste time with greetings, his gaze locking immediately onto the dying woman.

The brilliant azure glow of his Six Eyes flared to life as he analyzed her condition down to the atomic level.

“She’s still breathing, and she has a pulse, but it’s fading fast,” Frez said, his voice tight.

“Kiana, we need to get her to Schicksal right now.”

He bent down, carefully scooping the unconscious Murata Himeko into his arms.

As he lifted her, he paused, glancing back at the white-haired girl.

“Wait.

Is the Schicksal in this universe really just an entertainment company?”

If it was just a movie studio, they were better off breaking into a general hospital.

“To be precise, it’s the Schicksal Group,” Kiana corrected, already pulling out her phone again.

“But I know the most capable person under Otto.

I’ll have her make the arrangements.”

She dialed a private number.

It rang barely twice before a soft, elegantly charming voice drifted through the speaker.

“Miss Kiana, is there something you require of Rita?

If you need the latest Homu manga or a fresh batch of snacks, I can arrange for a delivery immediately.”

“Rita, help!

It’s an emergency!” Kiana shrieked, pacing the floor.

“Himeko—Himeko is dying!”

The playful warmth vanished from Rita’s voice, replaced by cold, professional efficiency.

“Please use your spatial abilities to transport Ms.

Himeko to Schicksal Hospital immediately.

I will secure a trauma bed and assemble our best medical team right away.”

Kiana raised a hand, her Herrscher powers tearing a rift in the fabric of space.

A swirling portal snapped open, and Frez dashed through with Himeko in his arms.

“Doctor!

We need a doctor!” Frez shouted the moment his boots hit the pristine white tiles of the hospital corridor.

The Schicksal Hospital staff moved with terrifying precision.

Nurses swarmed them, rolling a stretcher forward.

A doctor in a crisp white coat—who possessed the athletic build and sharp reflexes of a veteran Valkyrie—sprinted out of the emergency ward.

Her eyes darted over Himeko’s shattered armor and the purple fissures on her skin.

“Severe Honkai Energy erosion,” the doctor barked, instantly diagnosing the critical threat. You are reading on g.com, the official source.

“Prepare the anti-Honkai serum, maximum dosage.

She has catastrophic internal injuries and multiple fractures.

Get her into the operating room for surgery right now!”

The medical team whisked Himeko away behind a set of heavy double doors.

Frez leaned against the wall, exhaling a long breath.

Just as his heart rate began to settle, a chaotic commotion erupted down the hall.

A group of rowdy men rushed through the emergency entrance, hauling a patient whose skin was glowing with an even more violent shade of purple corruption than Himeko’s.

“Another case of Honkai Energy erosion?” a passing nurse asked, grabbing a clipboard.

“What happened this time?”

“He made a bet with a colleague that he could stay inside the main Honkai Reactor for a full minute,” one of the men laughed, not looking the least bit concerned.

The injured man on the stretcher actually flashed a weak, triumphant grin.

“One minute and twelve seconds, you bastards.

You’re paying for my meals for the rest of the month!”

Frez stared blankly.

He slowly reached up and pinched the bridge of his nose.

Were the people in this universe completely out of their minds?

Surviving a lethal dose of radiation by voluntarily locking oneself inside a Honkai Reactor…

just to win a month’s worth of free lunch?

“Is this kind of thing common here?” Frez asked, turning a deadpan look toward Kiana.

“Oh, yeah, it’s pretty normal.

There are always idiots who like to court death,” Kiana shrugged, her panic visibly fading.

“So Himeko just has Honkai Energy erosion?

In our world, that’s a minor thing.

A single shot of serum clears it right up.”

Frez fell into a stunned silence.

Honkai Energy erosion was a cataclysmic, world-ending plague in the canon universe, yet here it was treated like a mild inconvenience.

It was the equivalent of getting bitten by a stray dog and just needing a quick rabies shot.

“Are you absolutely sure she’s going to be fine?” Frez asked, his tone laced with heavy skepticism.

“I think we should ask the doctor to be safe.”

They waited outside the operating theater.

True to Rita’s word, she had secured the absolute best surgeon in the facility.

An hour later, the Valkyrie-like doctor pushed through the double doors, pulling down her surgical mask.

“Honkai Energy Erosion Syndrome is actually the mildest of her symptoms,” the doctor explained, wiping her brow.

“She has multiple severe fractures across her entire skeletal structure and unknown artificial implants—well, they look like glowing tattoos.

These ‘tattoos’ are actively draining her life force.

It looks like she engaged in a massive, desperate battle.

Strange…”

The doctor crossed her arms, giving Kiana a curious look.

“Miss Kiana, are you guys filming a new movie for real?

You even went through the trouble of replicating Stigmata technology.

You actors are really striving for realism, even risking your own lives for a scene.”

Frez stared at the ceiling.

The doctor’s casual sigh over the ‘actors’ professionalism’ left him entirely speechless.

“Himeko’s scenes with me wrapped up in the first half of the year,” Kiana muttered, rubbing her chin.

“It definitely wasn’t me who fought her.

The injuries in our script weren’t nearly this severe.”

Suddenly, Kiana clapped her hands together, her eyes widening.

“Wait!

No wonder the sense of déjà vu was so strong.

Isn’t this the exact scene where she gets pushed into the Sea of Quanta after being defeated?”

“Doctor, can she be saved?”

“Of course she can.

Trust our abilities,” the doctor smiled confidently.

“However, because the physical trauma is so extensive, she’ll have to stay on strict bed rest for at least two months.

Will that affect your filming schedule?

The fans are still eagerly waiting for the plot continuation after ‘Final Lesson’.”

Frez blinked.

Wait.

Such catastrophic, near-death injuries only required two months in bed?

Wasn’t the medical technology in this universe a bit too heaven-defying?

“Everyone’s busy with school lately anyway, so there’s no time to film,” Kiana waved a hand dismissively.

“It’s fine.”

“Then I’m relieved.” The doctor chuckled, turning back toward the operating room as if she had just treated a scraped knee.

Frez leaned against the wall, crossing his arms.

“So, what’s the deal with this Himeko?”

“How should I put it…” Kiana tapped her cheek.

“The movie we filmed here might actually be something that truly happened in her original world.”

“So she really did fall into the Sea of Quanta, and when you opened your spatial portal, she just happened to fall through into your living room.”

Kiana’s eyes suddenly sparkled with dangerous, chuunibyou energy.

“Then doesn’t that mean I am truly the Queen who reigns over the world?!”

“Please think carefully about your state during ‘Final Lesson’,” Frez sighed, shutting down her delusion.

“Weren’t you injected with the serum by Himeko and forced to regain your sanity?”

“My scenes haven’t wrapped up yet!” Kiana declared, striking a dramatic pose.

“The future development will definitely feature me fully seizing this body, becoming the ultimate main heroine!

I’ll punch Raiden Mei, kick Bronya, and then slay Durandal beneath my Spear of the Void!

I’ll become number one in the popularity polls by a landslide!

When that time comes, Frez, I’ll hire you as my assistant lackey.”

Fantasizing again.

She was completely lost in her own delusions.

Frez didn’t say a word.

He just reached out and patted Kiana’s shoulder with a look of deep pity.

The two continued to wait by the ward door.

A few minutes later, the rapid clicking of heels echoed down the corridor.

A stunning figure rushed toward them.

Ash-blonde hair, cut short, elegantly framed the left side of her face, while her wine-red eyes shimmered with a charming, moving intensity.

A delicate mole resting just beneath the corner of her right eye added a touch of unique, mature allure.

She was dressed impeccably in a black, backless lace maid outfit that perfectly accentuated her exquisite curves.

Her straight, slender legs were wrapped in a pair of dark garter stockings, the lace edges pressing slightly into her thighs to form a flawless ‘absolute territory’ beneath the hem of her skirt.

“Miss Kiana, how is Ms.

Himeko’s condition?”

Rita Rossweisse had arrived at the hospital as fast as humanly possible.

She was slightly out of breath, her chest rising and falling in grand, rhythmic waves, her beautiful face etched with genuine concern.

“It’s not a big deal,” Kiana smiled, gesturing to the ward.

“The doctor said she can be saved, she just needs two months of bed rest.

But, Rita, there’s a catch.

This Himeko is from another world.”

A rare look of absolute bewilderment shattered the perfect maid’s composed facade.

Rita covered her mouth, a startled cry escaping her lips.

“Eh?!”
