Miss Seele Vollerei just wanted to go home.

She wanted to return to her own world, return to the warmth of the orphanage, and most, return to Big Sister Bronya’s side.

After entrusting Project Bunny 19C to Bronya, Seele had been left adrift in the endless, suffocating depths of the Sea of Quanta.Full novel: Crossover: Monthly Character Templates in the Multiverse Chat Group — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

She had wandered for what felt like an eternity, eventually finding herself trapped within the looping confines of a decaying World Bubble—until she serendipitously crossed paths with Frez and his eccentric companions.

Listening to their banter, a glimmer of hope had sparked in her chest.

Even if the blonde Overseer standing before her exuded a deeply unreliable, theatrical aura, he possessed the technology that might actually send her back.

Seele firmly believed that Big Sister Bronya was out there searching for her, but she refused to just sit in the dark and wait for death.

Perhaps appearing suddenly before Bronya would be the best surprise of all.

“I can certainly toss you back into the Sea of Quanta,” Otto said, his tone entirely too casual for the gravity of the situation.

“But I offer absolutely zero guarantees on the destination.

Do you want to stay here and shoot a movie instead?

We could always use a stunt double for the real Seele.”

Rita stepped in, smoothly cutting off Otto’s nonsense.

She offered Seele a warm, comforting smile, radiating the gentle reassurance of an older sister.

Still, the harsh reality remained: they currently had no reliable coordinates to send the girl home.

“Didn’t you hear me earlier?” Kiana crossed her arms, her chin tilted up in defiance.

“I said I’d try opening a portal to the Sea of Quanta myself!

Stop underestimating me!”

“We believe you, Kiana, we really do,” Otto said, placing a hand over his heart in mock sincerity.

“But frankly, I place far more faith in Overseer Otto’s peerless technology.” He puffed out his chest, a smug smirk playing on his lips.

“You see, little girl?

As an idol, I am a complete failure, but as a scientist…

you are a complete failure.”

Kiana’s breath hitched in sheer indignation.

Her chest heaved with a sharp, angry huff, causing a very noticeable ripple in her attire.

Frez, whose Six Eyes were passively calculating the spatial data of the room, caught the subtle physics of the movement in high definition.

He wisely chose to keep that little observation locked deep in his heart.

“Ridiculous!” Kiana snapped, her golden eyes flashing.

“Stand back and let me show you the true, unrivaled power of the Herrscher of the Void!”

She thrust her hand forward.

The dark, umbrella-shaped Spear of the Void materialized and snapped open with a dramatic flourish.

Then…

absolutely nothing happened.

A heavy silence filled the carriage.

Kiana’s arrogant smirk faltered, replaced by a deep flush of embarrassment.

Muttering under her breath, she raised a hand and gave the weapon a solid, percussive smack, exactly like an old television.

The Umbra: Void Umbrella finally reacted.

The spatial fabric rippled, and the portal tore open—only to instantly vomit out a massive avalanche of random junk.

Pistols, instant noodles, crumpled swimsuits, a massive greatsword, and countless plush toys poured out in a tidal wave.

The already cramped carriage was instantly buried under the chaotic hoard.

Frez, using his Limitless, smoothly glided backward, keeping a pristine distance from the cascading trash.

The others were not nearly as fortunate.

Rita and Seele were completely swallowed by a mountain of clothes and stuffed animals.

Otto was violently submerged beneath a heavy sea of armaments.

Fortunately, his Soulium body was incredibly durable; aside from his tailored clothes being torn to shreds, he wasn’t in any actual danger.

A sharp blade poked out from the pile, followed by Otto’s disheveled head.

Before he could complain, a muffled, frantic cry echoed from beneath a towering mound of instant noodles and snack bags.

“Help!

Insolent humans, dig me out right now!”

Sighing, Frez waded into the mess, shoved aside a dozen bags of chips, and hauled Kiana out by her collar.

“I think it’s best if you never do that again,” Frez deadpanned.

“I refuse to accept this!” Kiana yelled, aggressively dusting off her jacket.

As the Herrscher began frantically reclaiming her scattered hoard, Frez’s eyes locked onto something magnificent buried in the pile.

He reached out and snatched up a blood-red, double-row chainsaw equipped with dual handles.

“Don’t touch that one,” Frez declared, hefting the heavy weapon.

“I’m keeping it.” Find the original chapter at g.com.

The blood-red chainsaw was a masterpiece of violent aesthetics.

Gold and crimson intertwined along its chassis, with a thick ring of golden handguards protecting the grips.

Frez squeezed the lever.

The engine roared to life with a deafening, mechanical scream.

Its jagged teeth spun in a blur—one row grinding forward, the other tearing backward.

A single strike from this staggered cutting mechanism would instantly shred an enemy into three distinct pieces.

A sudden, powerful aura of absolute loyalty washed over Frez’s soul.

“Praise Sanguinius!

No, wait—praise the Emperor!”

Ever since Frez had transmigrated, he made it a point to praise the God-Emperor of Mankind daily.

If you transmigrate to the grim darkness of Warhammer, you must praise the Emperor, because he is the only entity that might save your miserable soul.

And if you transmigrate anywhere else, you must praise the Emperor even harder, simply out of sheer gratitude that you didn’t end up in that galactic cesspool.

Frez gripped the second handle and wrenched his arms apart.

With a heavy metallic clack, the massive weapon split down the middle, transforming into dual chainsaws.

“Blood for the Blood God!

Skulls for the Skull Throne!” he cheered, the engines roaring in time with his laughter.

He didn’t know which timeline Kiana had looted these from, but they were unmistakably the signature weapons of Lunar Vow: Crimson Love.

Knowing Kiana’s track record with returning borrowed items, Frez decided to permanently requisition them.

Otto, finally dusting himself off, stared at the roaring blades with sparkling eyes.

“Oh, let me play with those.”

“You have two hands, but I have two chainsaws,” Frez said, holding them out of reach.

“What’s wrong with giving me one?”

“I want to dual-wield!”

“Just lend them to me for five minutes!”

As the two grown men began squabbling over the deadly weapons like toddlers fighting over a toy, Kiana quietly prepared to open the door to the Sea of Quanta once more.

She desperately needed to prove herself—to prove that the Queen possessed a wisdom far surpassing that of a blonde, cross-dressing Overseer.

She focused her energy.

The Umbra: Void Umbrella flared to life.

This time, no junk fell out.

Instead, the portal stabilized into a pitch-black window, heaving with the violent energy of a stormy night.

The deafening roar of crashing waves and gale-force winds flooded the carriage, accompanied by the sickening crunch of splintering wood.

Frez stopped revving the chainsaws and shoved Otto aside.

“What the hell is that?”

“I…

I don’t know,” Kiana stammered, stepping back.

A jagged bolt of lightning tore across the dark sky on the other side, illuminating the scene.

A massive, rotting wooden galleon was violently pitching on the black sea.

The deck was completely empty of human life, but the hull was thoroughly shredded, bearing the unmistakable scars of a brutal battle.

Something massive was scavenging in the dark.

Without warning, a cluster of thick, slimy tentacles shot out from the darkness.

They whipped through the spatial gate, lunging straight for Kiana’s throat.

“Watch out!” Rita moved like a blur, grabbing Kiana by the waist and yanking her backward.

Frez didn’t hesitate.

He lunged forward, the dual chainsaws screaming as he frantically hacked into the fleshy appendages.

Blood and black ichor sprayed across the floor as the blades chewed through the thick muscle.

Panicking, Kiana slammed the passage shut.

The severed tentacles dropped to the floor, twitching and violently thrashing against the metal plating.

A foul, fishy stench instantly permeated the carriage.

Rita crouched down, her scythe at the ready, and inspected the writhing meat.

“This appears to be…

a squid’s tentacle?”

“The piece I just sawed off is thicker than my waist,” Frez pointed out, wiping ichor from his cheek.

“And that was just the tip that managed to poke through. New chapters come out on g.com first.

God only knows how massive the main body is.

Did you just open a portal to a Kraken’s bathtub?”

“I don’t know!” Kiana cried out defensively.

“Let me try again!”

“Absolutely not,” Rita said, smoothly intercepting Kiana’s hand.

Together, Frez, Otto, and Rita managed to drag the heavy, thrashing sea monster appendages out of the carriage to be analyzed by the lab staff.

Otto brightly suggested boiling them down to give the Schicksal employees an extra protein boost for dinner, a proposal Rita decisively and coldly vetoed.

Feeding unknown, potentially highly venomous multidimensional squid to the staff was a logistical nightmare she refused to manage.

While the three adults were distracted outside, Kiana turned her golden eyes toward the timid girl left in the carriage.

“Human,” Kiana whispered conspiratorially.

“Do you believe in this Queen?”

“Believe?

Believe in what?” Seele blinked, clutching her chest nervously.

“Believe that I can find your exact world,” Kiana declared, her voice brimming with absolute certainty.

“Thank you, Queen sister,” Seele said, offering a polite but hesitant bow.

“But they just said it’s incredibly dangerous to search blindly.” She was deeply grateful for Kiana’s enthusiasm, but the severed tentacle bleeding on the floor was a strong argument against taking risks.

Kiana waved her hand dismissively.

“As the saying goes, wealth is found in danger!

If you truly want to go home, you have to be willing to take a gamble.

You have to believe in the cosmic luck between us.”

All, or nothing at all.

Before Seele could protest, Kiana grabbed the girl’s hand and forced her to grip the handle of the Umbra: Void Umbrella alongside her.

“I refuse to accept defeat.

Close your eyes.

Think carefully about your own world.

Picture it.”

Seele hesitated, then squeezed her eyes shut.

She recalled the biting cold of the snowy plains, the worn bricks of the orphanage, and the comforting presence of her sister, Bronya.

Fueled by Seele’s desperate desire to return home, her body began to emit a soft, ethereal blue glow.

As the energy pulsed through the Sea of Quanta, Kiana felt a sudden, distinct frequency lock onto their coordinates.

“This is it!” Kiana shouted triumphantly.

She wrenched the Umbra: Void Umbrella open.

The portal flared brightly, and the scent of the ocean vanished.

Instead, the dazzling neon lights of a modern city at night spilled into the carriage.

The muffled sounds of bustling traffic and distant sirens echoed through the rift.

Kiana threw her head back and laughed.

“Ahaha!

See?

This must be your home!

Let’s go!”

It was time to descend upon that world and show the local humans the true majesty of the Queen.

Without a second thought, she yanked Seele forward and dove headfirst into the portal.

The rift snapped shut behind them, leaving the Umbra: Void Umbrella resting silently on the floor.

A few minutes later, Frez, Otto, and Rita returned to the carriage, wiping squid ink from their hands.

Frez blinked, looking around the empty room.

“Where did they go?”

They searched the immediate area, but the two girls had vanished without a trace.

Suddenly, Frez’s phone buzzed in his pocket.

A new message had just popped up in the multiversal chat group.

[Kiana: I’m gonna die, I’m gonna die!

Human, come save me!

The Kiana in this world just saw me, and now she’s chasing me and Seele down the street!]
