"Losing to LVG is one thing, I can accept that as supporting CNCS."

"But I didn't expect you to lose to B8 and mibr too. Losing to Europe, Asia, and South America, it's just disgraceful."

"Why did I even become a fan of this team?"

Lin Yu stared at the screen, watching the Falcons exit the Austin Major at lightning speed, just like Niko, both covering their faces in agony.

As a CSGO player, he started playing in 2021 and had been following matches for four years. Among all the professional players, his favorite was Niko, and like all fans, he hoped Niko could win a Major championship of his own.

But what greeted him was disappointment after disappointment.

He couldn't understand it. Ever since Niko's three missed shots in Stockholm and failing to beat 2K at the Boston Major, it was as if Niko was under some kind of curse.

Whenever the team needed him to step up, he would always let people down.

But to say he hated Niko for this wouldn't be true either.

After all, Niko's championship had nothing to do with Lin Yu; it was more a feeling of frustration, a love-hate relationship.

After a long sigh, Lin Yu glanced down at his phone screen, where QQ and WeChat messages were popping up non-stop.

As a four-year CSGO player, he naturally joined some groups and had friends who played CS.

CS is not like LOL; occasionally, there are trolls, but most players enjoy their own space, liking one player without disliking another, let alone a veteran like Niko.

Even if they don't like him, they wouldn't be overjoyed at his elimination and post hateful comments.

Most players, even if not fans of Niko, would feel sorry for him, as a famous commentator once said.

"Watching a veteran's match is like watching one less each time."

Even trolls don't want to see Niko retire because then who would they troll?

Lin Yu picked up his phone, reading through the messages until he stopped at one.

[Dog-Loving Big Son: Damn, watched for four years, and it's the same result every year. I can't support this anymore. Why is it so hard just to see Niko win a championship?]

[Dog-Loving Big Son: I don't get it, what's m0NESY doing, why move around, can't he just watch Banana quietly?]

[Dog-Loving Big Son: Losing a 5v3, I don't see what's so great about this five-time champion coach zonic.]

...

Reading Wei Cheng's messages, Lin Yu felt they resonated with him.

He and Wei Cheng were college roommates, both got into CSGO together, and both liked Niko, making him one of Lin Yu's few true friends in college.

Later, although they were separated due to work, they still kept in touch, often voice chatting to watch matches or play games together.

Lin Yu thought for a moment, pressed the unlock button on his screen, and was about to type something when he suddenly felt dizzy.

He had to put down his phone, thinking, "Could it be low blood sugar from overwork?"

He didn't know how long it lasted, but the dizziness gradually faded. When he opened his eyes again and saw everything clearly, his pupils contracted.

Because the place in front of him was no longer his home, but a familiar yet unfamiliar place, where he had lived for nearly four years.

His university dormitory.

Before Lin Yu could react to what happened, Wei Cheng suddenly patted him on the back and pointed at his computer screen.

"Damn, why are you so slow getting things, you missed the most exciting moment."

"Niko just got to the third floor, faced s1mple's back, and missed three shots!"

"Do you know how absurd that is?"

Listening to the words in his ear and seeing the content on the screen, Lin Yu was now certain that he had indeed traveled back in time, to November 7, 2021, the day the 2021 PGL Stockholm Major ended.

His CSGO journey began here, where he gradually learned about various professional players and eventually became a fan of Niko.

This was also his first semester in college, just two or three months after the start.

Suddenly, Lin Yu's eyes lit up. If he had been reborn four years earlier, did that mean he had more opportunities to change his future?

Four years later, as a recent graduate, his job was unstable because the courses taught in college were outdated, leaving him with little useful knowledge, forcing him to relearn everything at work.

As for postgraduate studies, to be honest, Lin Yu couldn't focus on studying. In his class, he was just an average student, even below average, barely making it to an undergraduate program.

He knew he wasn't cut out for studying, so he didn't consider it.

After graduation, Lin Yu worked as a programmer, a security guard, and a delivery driver, but at most, he earned five or six thousand a month, sometimes only one or two thousand, and occasionally had to ask his parents for money to survive in the city.

Now, although he didn't understand why he could return to his college days, it was undoubtedly an opportunity to change his current situation.

Lin Yu began to think about what he could do to change his future.

Stocks?

But he didn't have much money, and convincing his parents to invest based on his rebirth story would definitely get him scolded, and they wouldn't give him money.

CSGO skins?

The prices were lower than he remembered, but still not affordable for a poor student.

In other words, although he had been reborn and had many ways to make money in his mind, he lacked startup capital.

Dropping out to work was an option, but the money wouldn't be enough to secure a comfortable future.

Thinking of this, Lin Yu frowned deeply.

At this moment, Wei Cheng spoke again.

"G2 lost."

"Of course, NAVI is the champion."

Hearing this, Lin Yu looked up at the computer screen, and his pupils suddenly dilated.

Because after the Major ended, a light blue panel suddenly appeared before his eyes.
