Upon hearing Lin Yu's command, Mai-senpai immediately threw the flashbang. However, something went wrong with its trajectory. It quickly bounced off the wall at A Short and, in a way that even Mai-senpai couldn't comprehend, rebounded at an impossible angle.

Seeing this, Living for Sakurajima Mai quickly pressed the voice key on his keyboard, intending to communicate the flashbang mishap to Lin Yu, but he was a step too late.

Trusting his teammate, Lin Yu, upon hearing the sound of the flashbang hitting the wall, immediately pushed out. He then saw a CT standing at a close position, holding an M4A4, waiting for him.Full novel: CS2: I Can Play 48 Hours a Day — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

If Lin Yu had only gone up the A Short Stairs, he would have been limited to shooting at standard positions. But near the close point at A Short, he had developed a muscle memory reaction from previous encounters, where his hands moved faster than his brain.

Almost instantly, his hand moved, his right hand controlling the crosshair straight to Ying Yu's head, while his left hand pressed the crouch key and the opposite direction A key, executing a donk-style slide crouch.

Although it wasn't the CS2 era, and the donk slide crouch wasn't as effective as in CS2, considering the close distance and the fact that the opponent wasn't a professional player, it was sufficient for Lin Yu to handle the situation.

Then, under the watchful eyes of the audience in Ying Yu's livestream, the terrorist who emerged from A Short executed a rarely seen offensive maneuver, completing a crouch version of a quick counter-strafe.

This time, Ying Yu was prepared. He fired his gun, but because Lin Yu's crouching movement was so smooth and natural, by the time he fired, Lin Yu had already completed his crouch, perfectly dodging the line of fire.

Lin Yu then fired another shot, successfully taking Ying Yu down.

Seeing the streamer once again defeated by an unknown expert, the dozen or so viewers in the livestream exploded with comments.

"Is this the Demon King S?"

"Is he any good?"

"How does the streamer seem worse than me?"

"Getting wrecked in a noob game?"

Faced with the ridicule from his viewers, veins bulged on Ying Yu's forehead, but to fight back, he admitted he couldn't.

The reason was simple. After a few brief encounters, Ying Yu had realized he wasn't a match for Lin Yu.

But he wasn't willing to admit defeat so easily, so he had to blame Lin Yu.

"He's definitely cheating!"

"I'm a hundred percent sure."

However, before he could finish speaking, he saw Lin Yu, who had pushed up A Short, make a fatal error against the CTs retaking from CT Spawn, firing over a dozen bullets without killing the enemy.

This scene seemed to slap Ying Yu in the face. Enjoying the story? Read on at g.com.

At this point, the chat no longer held back and continued to pile on.

"Really, even this is cheating?"

"I think you should stop streaming. That guy may be a bit of a noob, but he's way better than you."

"Indeed."

"The streamer is so bad, getting killed continuously without firing a shot. Is this the Demon King S?"

Ying Yu looked at the sarcastic comments in front of him, unable to say a word, his fingers clenched into a fist, nails digging into his flesh, leaving a mark.

He now suspected that Lin Yu was targeting him, aiming to completely embarrass him.

Otherwise, there was no way to explain why this person was so accurate against him but so off against others.

However, he couldn't lose his composure now.

Ying Yu glanced at his economy, with over two thousand left. He could still buy an M4A1 next round. This was his last chance.

Lin Yu, on the other hand, wasn't intentionally trying to embarrass Ying Yu; he didn't even know the opponent was a streamer.

As for the earlier mistake, it was simple. Lin Yu's current skill level wasn't very high, and he couldn't control the mouse well, especially when the opponent appeared in unconventional positions, which greatly increased his chances of making mistakes.

The earlier missed shots were just that.

However, even though Lin Yu died, his task was complete. As long as the entry fragger could consistently trade one for one, his role was the most significant in the team.

Behind Lin Yu, Mai-senpai wasn't idle. After Lin Yu's death, he quickly traded, successfully redeeming himself by killing the CT on the CT Ramp.

Then, coordinating with teammates at Long Doors, they took down the CT at Long A, once again executing a pincer attack from Long A and A Short, leaving the remaining two CTs with no choice but to save.

As the score gap widened, even Ying Yu's two sponsors couldn't sit still.

"Litang Strongest Legend: 'He's just a few games away from B rank, so am I. I'm counting on five bucks to get me to B, don't lose.'"

"The Girl I Like Doesn't Have Me in Her Heart: 'Come on, I believe in the streamer.'"

When the fourth round began, Ying Yu held his M4A1, but his tone lacked its usual arrogance.

He looked at the opposing ID named Shark, took a deep drag from his cigarette, and then stubbed it out.

He was going to get serious. He couldn't believe he couldn't win even once against the opponent, who might as well be a real shark.

If he still couldn't win, he would definitely report to the platform, claiming the opponent was either smurfing, with a real rank above his, or outright cheating. Either way, they were up to no good.

As a streamer, Ying Yu despised smurfers the most. Ideally, only he should be allowed to smurf, no one else.

With these thoughts, the fourth round began.

This time, Ying Yu was noticeably more cautious. He didn't choose to push up the path again but instead stood honestly at the back point.

His position this round wasn't random; it was strategic, near the First Box on the side close to A Ramp.

From this position, he could use the First Box as cover, aiming at A Short with only his head exposed, his body completely shielded by the box, giving him a significant advantage in a gunfight.

However, there was one flaw: this position was quite standard, and because he was crouching, if anything unexpected happened, he wouldn't be able to escape.

In such a situation, the only outcome would be a dead end.

But Ying Yu wasn't afraid. He believed that with his direct aim, he could kill Lin Yu before he even completed his positioning.

On the other side, Lin Yu was sticking to his strategy.

He felt he was playing well at A Short, and since no one on the opposing side could match him, why not continue attacking A Short?

As a college student who loved esports, Lin Yu had watched many esports matches, and one thing he couldn't understand was why many teams would lose their composure or be stubborn.

For example, the famous Galio and Magnus, clearly unable to handle them, yet refusing to ban them.

Additionally, some teams, despite a strategy consistently earning points, would suddenly change tactics and then fall apart.

Lin Yu always believed that changing tactics was only right when the current strategy stopped working.

Because the opponent didn't have a god's eye view, even if your strategy was the same every round, they wouldn't know.

As long as you made the opponent think you would change tactics, but you didn't, and continued to rely on the same strategy to score points.

Isn't that a strategy in itself?
