“What are you talking about?”
Su Liuying glared defensively at Quan Tianyou—she hadn’t broken any laws by selling things, right?
She had always conducted her business with sincerity, never cheating anyone.
The only misfortune was encountering him, this peculiar customer.
“Mind your own business!
This is totally absurd!”
Quan Tianyou, seeing Su Liuying’s defensive posture, frowned and emptied the contents of the bag noisily onto the coffee table, pointed at the items, and asked again, “Is this how you usually peddle your wares?”
His mocking and disdainful tone made Su Liuying roll her eyes, unwilling to deal with him.
She scooted to a corner of the sofa, keeping her distance, as a safety precaution.
What rotten luck!
Normally, she relied on couriers for deliveries, right?
Just because they were in a rush and it would take hours for the courier, she had delivered this order herself to make some money, and of course, she had run into Quan Tianyou.
She thought she wouldn’t have any further dealings with him, but fate really did have the sickest sense of humor!
Quan Tianyou grew even angrier when Su Liuying didn’t speak.
He grabbed her wrist and demanded, “What?
You’re playing dumb now?
Where’s all your smart talk gone?”
“That’s none of your business!”
He wasn’t anyone to her; why was he meddling so much?
As if making her living through her own hard work was such a disgrace.
“Since I have no say, fine!
Let’s talk about how these things should be used, then!”
Quan Tianyou picked up an item with a disgusted look, raised his eyebrows, and looked at Su Liuying.
“There are instructions inside, just read them yourself.
I need to leave now!”
Su Liuying didn’t believe a word of Quan Tianyou’s claim that he could unlock the door with his fingerprint.
She ran to the main door and desperately punched in the code, but it was all in vain.
Just as she was about to burst out cursing, she suddenly realized Quan Tianyou was already standing behind her.
“Ah!
You lunatic, you’re going to scare someone to death, you know!”
Su Liuying was patting her chest continuously while Quan Tianyou leaned one hand against the door, lowered his head towards her, and cornered her between the door and his arm.
To avoid touching him, her back could only press against the door—she truly wished she could transform into a door god and stick to the door that very second.
“I already told you, without my fingerprint, this door won’t open!”
Quan Tianyou brought his lips close to Su Liuying’s ear, lifted his eyebrows, and added, “So, is this you playing hard to get?”
I want to go home, go home!
Did you hear that?”
Su Liuying was about to explode from Quan Tianyou’s wild imagination.
She pushed him hard, shouting, “Hurry up and open the door, I want to go home!
Did you freaking hear me?”
Quan Tianyou gave Su Liuying a peck on purpose and chuckled, “Tsk tsk tsk, you look pretty good, how can you be so vulgar!”
“None of your damned business!
You…”
Both embarrassed and furious, Su Liuying was about to curse him out when Quan Tianyou suddenly kissed her.
He had intended to tease her, but found he couldn’t stop himself.
“Oh!
Damn it!
I just went to the hospital a while ago…”
Su Liuying was exasperated—her trip to the hospital had been pointless.
What rotten luck!
In her past life, had she killed Quan Tianyou’s entire family or desecrated his ancestor’s graves?
Why else would he haunt her like an unyielding ghost?
“Was I in debt to you in a past life?
Is that why I’m entangled with you in this life?”
Watching Su Liuying’s face turn red with anger, Quan Tianyou was actually in a good mood and smiled in response, “Perhaps!”
