# Day 5 - 10:45

Dr. Mara Iqbal had been bitten before—by children, by drunks, once by a rabid patient whose teeth tore through her hand until they scraped bone—but none of it prepared her for Saanvi.

The bite landed high on her neck, left side, an inch below the jaw. The pressure was at once deliberate and unrestrained: molars grinding flesh, tongue pressed flat for maximum contact. For a moment, Iqbal’s brain could only process the pain, an incandescent spike that radiated behind her eye and down her collarbone. She reached up, ready to wrench Saanvi’s head away, but the other woman was already on her, hands like vises, pinning Iqbal’s arms to the steel cabinets.Full novel: Dawn Experiment — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

Saanvi was strong—unnaturally so, her strength magnified by adrenaline, or whatever the double dose was doing to her. Iqbal’s back hit the autoclave with a clang. She tried to twist free, but Saanvi’s grip only tightened, her breath coming fast and hot against Iqbal’s cheek.

“Easy,” Iqbal hissed, or tried to, but Saanvi’s mouth was moving up, now biting the lobe of her ear, then sucking it, and now a hand—somehow cold and burning at the same time—slipped inside Iqbal’s lab coat and raked up the buttons of her blouse.

Saanvi’s voice was gone. Instead, she made low, wordless noises, hungry and insistent. The sound reminded Iqbal of animals in rut: blunt, open-mouthed, never fully closing, always searching for friction.

“Saanvi,” she said, again, louder, hoping to snap her back to baseline. “You need—”

But Saanvi’s hand was at her throat, not choking, but anchoring her against the slick steel surface. The grip wasn’t precise, but it was absolute. The other hand had already opened her blouse—buttons pinged off to roll under the bench—and was now up under her bra, cupping and kneading her breast. The flesh yielded softly beneath Saanvi's fingers, the gentle give of middle age, but at its center, Iqbal's nipple stood defiant—large and rigid against her palm, surrounded by a smooth areola that puckered at the touch. A rich, musky scent rose from her skin as Saanvi's fingers worked, something like sandalwood and salt.

Iqbal tried to catalog the sensations, to float above the moment and think like a scientist. But the double whammy of the drug—Saanvi’s and her own—the blood flooding her capillaries, the raw pulse of it, made distance impossible. Her own body betrayed her, first with a flutter of heat down her sternum, then a tightening below the waist, followed by a warm, almost pleasurable dizziness.

She had a brief, insane image of herself as a rodent in an experiment, the kind they used in pharmacology trials, scurrying in a maze while some external force recorded every breath and shiver. She wanted to laugh, but the sound caught in her throat as Saanvi’s teeth grazed down her collarbone, stopping only to clamp onto the thin flesh above her clavicle.

Pain, again, but now it mixed with something more confusing: the urge to bite back, or to give in completely, she wasn’t sure. Saanvi shifted her weight, pressing Iqbal’s hips against the edge of the bench, her knee forcing Iqbal’s legs apart.

And now, finally, Saanvi's eyes came up—wild, glassy, pupils blown so wide they nearly eclipsed the thin ring of brown iris. Her diamond-shaped face hovered inches away, sweat beading along her hairline, full lips parted and trembling. Those almond eyes, usually so precise and analytical, locked onto Iqbal's face with feral intensity, and for a heartbeat, something like apology flickered across her features.

But she didn’t. Instead, she kissed Iqbal, open-mouthed and urgent, tongue filling her mouth, hands working down her body, searching for skin. The force of it sent Iqbal’s head back against the autoclave, rattling the glassware above them.

Iqbal could have called for help. There were panic buttons. There were protocols. Instead, she let her hands go slack at her sides, feeling the bite of the steel through her skirt, the chill of the air on her exposed skin, and the dizzying, almost intoxicating intensity of Saanvi’s need.

She tried to parse her own reaction: Was this submission? Was this just another data point in her endless chain of self-experiments? She remembered Saanvi’s words—“I’d rather risk my life than be inventory”—and thought, If she can go this far, maybe I owe her the same.

She let go.

The rest happened fast: Saanvi yanked up the skirt, not bothering with subtlety. Her hands were everywhere at once—fingernails digging into Iqbal's thigh, then slipping inside her panties with the directness of someone who had spent a lifetime suppressing every urge until the floodgates burst. The first touch was rough, almost painful, but her fingers were clever, and within moments Iqbal felt herself yielding, hips rolling forward to meet the onslaught. The air between them grew thick with a sharp, musky scent—their mingled arousal rising like steam in the sterile lab, overwhelming the antiseptic smell with something primal and unmistakable. Between frantic movements, Saanvi tore at her own clothes, ripping her blouse down the middle with a violent jerk that sent buttons flying. Her large teardrop-shaped breasts spilled free, swaying with the momentum of her movements. Each dark areola was textured with tiny bumps that circled around elongated nipples—stiff and protruding far beyond their usual length in her heightened state of arousal.

Her own hands, now unshackled, tangled in Saanvi's hair, yanking her face up for another kiss as Saanvi shoved her lab pants and underwear down in one desperate motion. The scent intensified—earthy and salt-sweet, like overripe fruit and sea air—as Saanvi's own wetness was exposed to the cool lab air. For the first time, Saanvi moaned—genuine, deep, almost grateful. They spun against the counter, scattering glass slides and pipettes, until Iqbal's ass hit the cold edge and Saanvi lifted her bodily up, setting her down on the bench with a thud that threatened to shatter the cheap composite.

Saanvi dropped to her knees, tearing the last of the skirt away with a sound like silk being skinned. The next sensation was the tip of her tongue, blunt and relentless, lapping at the soaked fabric, then pushing it aside. She inhaled deeply, nostrils flaring at the heady, animal perfume of Iqbal's desire before her mouth descended, attacking the tender flesh with hunger.

Iqbal gasped, toes curling on the benchtop. The rich, feral scent of their coupling filled her head, making her dizzy with want. Her clitoris, a small hooded pearl now emerged from its protective fold, already engorged from the rush of adrenaline, throbbed visibly with each heartbeat. It was instantly overwhelmed by the flood of sensation—Saanvi's tongue flat and wide against her slick entrance, then narrowing to a point, tracing figure-eights around the sensitive bud with the precision of a 3D printer, each pass sending electric pulses through the delicate nerve endings.

At some point, Iqbal realized she was making sounds—loud, involuntary, not the low-pitched hum she used in her own rare solo encounters, but real, animal cries, each one timed to the rhythm of Saanvi’s assault.

She risked a glance down. Saanvi’s face was half-illumined by the red light emitting from a nearby machine, slicked with Iqbal’s own arousal, her mouth working with relentless, almost mechanical determination.

Her own body had never responded like this, not in med school, not in the ill-advised dalliances that followed. Her head swam, vision tunneling. The only thing keeping her in the moment was Saanvi’s grip on her hips, fingers digging into muscle so hard it would bruise for days.

And then, without warning, Saanvi bit down—not the play-nip of a lover, but a full, deliberate bite, just above the mound, hard enough to make Iqbal yelp.

She should have pushed Saanvi off. She should have run. Instead, the pain burst through her nervous system, spiking straight into the pleasure center, and in that instant, Iqbal came—hard, a wave so violent she nearly kicked Saanvi in the face.

Her body bucked, slammed against the bench, then went limp.

Saanvi kept going. Even as Iqbal tried to catch her breath, Saanvi’s mouth returned, now alternating between licks and bites, her fingers—two, then three—pushing inside, stretching and filling, pumping with a speed and force that bordered on savage, her knuckles disappearing and reappearing in a blur as they slammed against the tender flesh, each thrust sending tremors up Iqbal's spine and drawing fresh wetness that trickled down to pool on the cold metal beneath them.

The second orgasm built fast, but this time, Iqbal’s rational mind split from her body. She was floating above herself, cataloging the signs—pulse in her wrists, dilation of the pupils, flood of oxytocin and dopamine. She noted the sequence, the refractory period, the secondary wave.

After the third, Saanvi finally slowed. She rose, mouth and chin slicked, and pressed her forehead against Iqbal’s, breathing hard.

Iqbal stared into her eyes—still wild, but now glazed with exhaustion. Saanvi’s hands came up, cradling her face, and for the first time, she smiled.

“I needed—” Saanvi gasped. “I needed that. I’m sorry. I couldn’t…”

Iqbal, still shaking, managed a nod. She reached down, fingered the bruises on her thigh, then looked at the blood on her collarbone and laughed, a short, mad bark.

“I think you broke my neck,” she said, and Saanvi grinned, then collapsed forward, her head on Iqbal’s lap.

They sat that way for a while. Iqbal stroked Saanvi’s hair, felt her heartbeat slow. The aftermath was less clinical, more companionable—two lab rats sharing a wheel.

When Saanvi finally stood, she was a mess. Her lab pants were soaked through, her hair a tangle, one contact lens lost somewhere on the linoleum. Iqbal helped her up, propped her against the counter, and grabbed a roll of gauze to mop up the worst of it.

She pulled out the Dawn Meter. Saanvi offered her wrist, and Iqbal pressed the sensor to it.

The number flashed: 39%. down from 45% before sex and 50% before drugs were used, the lowest it had ever been.

“Fuck me,” said Saanvi, grinning, then wobbled and nearly collapsed again.

Iqbal tested her own. 45%. down from 52%. Slight improvement, but still within the safe range.even when considering a 3% error margin, it is still a clear improvement.

She wrapped Saanvi in a clean blanket, dragged her to the cot in the adjoining office, and watched as she dropped instantly into a deep, almost comatose sleep.

Alone, Iqbal set about patching her own wounds. She dabbed disinfectant on the bites, taped up the bruised thigh, replaced the torn blouse with a scrub top from the supply closet.

She caught sight of herself in the reflection off the fridge: hair wild, neck bandaged, eyes brighter than she’d seen them in years.

She smiled—unconscious, unguarded, real.

It was, she decided, a victory.
