Meanwhile, inside the Uzumaki, the Bijū watched as the two Kuramas bumped fists. They slowly began to merge, and Kurama gave off a faint orange glow as he grew a little larger. Sighing, he looked at his siblings.
"This is a disaster..." were the fox's grave words as he lowered his gaze. "Our existence has led this world to its downfall," he said in a low voice.
"Kurama!" Matatabi shouted in warning. The last thing they needed was to blame one another and fill themselves with guilt.
"He's right." Everyone looked at Son Goku in surprise as he turned his attention specifically to Kurama. "We need to make a change. This happened because we were separated and allowed ourselves to be captured. Remember Father's words."
"One day, all of you will be together. Someday, you will meet someone who won't see you as monsters or tools... One day, you will become one again... to become a better being," Saiken said seriously. Everyone listened to the words their father had once spoken to them. They all knew what they had to do.
"Stinking fox... You know what to do," Shukaku spoke this time. All the beasts, especially Kurama, looked at the one-tailed tanuki.
"I refuse... What will happen to all of you?" the fox said in annoyance.
"You must protect the boy... You're the only one who can bear this burden," Hachibi replied to his older brother's words. Kurama remained silent. Slowly, all the beasts approached the fox, forming a circle around him. The nine Bijū began to glow.
Inside Naruto's subconscious, everything began to shine. One by one, the Bijū began disappearing as they merged with Kurama, who had his eyes closed. After several seconds, a crystalline layer of energy covered the fox. In the middle of the darkness, the cocoon began to crack.
Finally, the cocoon burst open, and a figure emerged. It was ten times larger than Kurama had been. Its fur was white as snow, its claws were dark as night, and its eyes were still blood-red, with slit pupils. Ten enormous tails slowly moved from side to side. Growling softly, he looked at himself. A small tear rolled down from his right eye. His siblings were gone. Unable to hold himself back, he roared with all his strength. All of this happened inside the Uzumaki, who was witnessing everything.
Sitting in the depths of his mind, Naruto watched as Kurama fell unconscious. Apparently, even for a Bijū, the strain had been too much. Approaching his friend, the Uzumaki reached out to stroke the fur on his head. Things could only get worse. As the hours passed, he remained there, stroking the unconscious Bijū, who only God knew when he would wake up. Apparently, he wasn't the only one who had now lost everything.
"You've lost your father... and now your siblings... I'm sorry, Kurama," the shinobi said as he rested his forehead against the beast's head.
………..
As the days passed, we could see everyone in a large room filled with scrolls. In the center of the room was the red swirl that represented the Uzumaki clan. The three Kage looked at the Uzumaki, who was sitting in a meditative position. Behind him stood Tobirama, who was quickly writing several seals on the teenager's back.
"Just concentrate and endure it," the Senju said as he began forming a long sequence of hand seals.
"See you, son... I hope we meet again someday and that you tell your mother and me everything you did in that new place," Minato said as he began to glow, just like the other Kage. It wasn't difficult for them to release the Edo Tensei seal, especially with the freedom they had been given when Orochimaru summoned them.
"May the Will of Fire always burn within you, Naruto," the Sandaime said this time. He and Hashirama remained serious. Finally, the Nidaime finished forming the hand seals. At that moment, the Kage separated from their bodies, their souls leaving them as they witnessed the Uzumaki being pulled into a portal that opened behind him.
"See you," the Uzumaki said, saying goodbye to the Hokages one last time before they disappeared. After being sucked into the portal, all he could see was white.
That was until he felt the true meaning of pain. The brightness blinded him. He felt as though his body was being subjected to gravity so intense that it was crushing his bones. He was cut by thousands of blades. Screaming in pain, he managed to look at his hands, which were covered in blood. But at the same time, he felt his wounds healing, only to be injured again. After several minutes, everything finally stopped.
Landing on what seemed to be sand, he looked around and saw that he was on a beach. Had he made it? That question troubled him. However, he couldn't think much about it because he heard a little girl scream. Looking up, he saw a girl falling from a cliff. He quickly ran to catch her.
"Are you okay?"
End of flashback:
Silence filled the Queen of the Amazons' chamber. Hippolyta slowly pulled her fist away from the Uzumaki's. Frowning, she tried to process everything she had seen. "Your world..." She couldn't find the words to ease the mood. She had never experienced anything like that and hoped she never would.
"I lost everything... Now I just want peace," the Uzumaki humbly requested as he bowed respectfully before the Queen. He didn't want to leave this place. He felt too comfortable here. The peace and calm of the island soothed his thoughts. He didn't know what lay beyond the island, and frankly, he no longer cared.
"I've already allowed you to stay, and don't worry, my sisters have gotten used to your presence."
"No, it's alright. Don't force them to be friendly with me... I'll earn their respect and friendship myself," he said calmly before taking a deep breath and smiling. This pleased the Queen. He wasn't looking for anyone's pity. He would earn their respect and friendship himself.
"I know you will."
