After arranging for Xiao Huang to finish work, seeing the warehouse once again filled with supplies eased much of her panic about heading to the 1970s.

With a wave of her small hand, she stored everything in her Dimension space.

She slept until waking naturally. Since it was always daytime in the Dimension space, she couldn’t tell how many hours she’d slept.Full novel: Deceived into Book Transmigration, Holding the Script to Hoard Goods and Travel to the 70s — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

After washing up, she emerged from the Dimension space to find it was just past 2 AM. She had been so busy since arriving here that she hadn’t properly looked around this home.

Lost in thought, she found herself already standing at the door of her parents’ room.

Gently pushing the door open, this was Nan Mo’s first time entering this room, yet she felt an indescribable sense of familiarity that she was certain wasn’t just due to the original host’s memories.

It felt as if a slideshow about her parents was playing in her mind.

Looking around the room, every step she took was heavy with longing and attachment.

She could almost physically feel their presence nearby. The air carried their lingering scent – a comforting fragrance that brought peace.

Her father’s loving smile, her mother’s gentle calls – they seemed so vivid before her eyes. She reached out to touch their figures, but grasped only empty air.

Yet the feeling remained so real, as if they had just been here moments before.

Entering the walk-in closet, she tried to learn more about them.

There, on the display shelf in the closet, she saw a box she knew all too well.

It was identical to the one Director Mama had given her when she left the orphanage.

Director Mama had said this was the box found beside her when she was discovered.

She remembered that when Director Mama gave it to her, the box contained nothing but a small blanket embroidered with jasmine flowers.

Nan Mo’s hands trembled slightly as she took a deep breath, gathering all her strength to slowly open the aged box before her.

When the lid lifted, her eyes widened, fixed on the all-too-familiar object inside – it was exactly the same small blanket from her memories!

“How can this be? How…” Nan Mo murmured, her voice filled with disbelief.

Tears immediately blurred her vision as she instinctively reached out both hands to gently stroke the slightly faded blanket, her fingers tracing the residual warmth and marks of time.

So she wasn’t an orphan after all. Her parents had loved her.

It was just that she was in another world, unable to find them. Now she had returned, but they were gone…

Nan Mo could no longer contain the turbulent emotions surging within her. Clutching the box tightly, she broke down in loud sobs.

Her cries echoed through the room, as if releasing all the pain, sorrow, and longing she had carried.

At this moment, Nan Mo wept so heartbrokenly that her body trembled uncontrollably with each sob.

Uncle Qin came running at the sound and felt his heart wrench seeing the young mistress crying her heart out in her parents’ room.

Choking up, Uncle Qin gently stroked Nan Mo’s hair. “Young mistress… don’t be afraid. Uncle Qin is here, Uncle Qin is here.”

“Uncle Qin, I… I want them back… I want them back… They lost me, I searched, but I… I couldn’t find them.”

Nan Mo cried until she was gasping for breath, wanting to sob out all her grievances.

Nan Mo gradually regained consciousness, though she couldn’t tell how much time had passed. With trembling hands, she smoothed out the small blanket she had crumpled.

“Uncle Qin, I’ll store all of my parents’ and brother’s belongings in the Dimension space later. Please lock the doors and don’t let anyone in before I leave.”

Unaware of when she would depart, she couldn’t bear to part with any mementos of her family. Only by keeping them in her Dimension space could she feel at ease.

Seeing that she had calmed down, Uncle Qin left. He needed to ensure the medicine matter was settled for the young lady today without delay.

By the time Nan Mo returned to her bedroom, she had already cleared out her parents’ and brother’s rooms. Everything was carefully arranged in another bedroom within the Dimension space.

Glancing at the time—nearly 6 o’clock—she washed up and drove to the morning market.

Knowing the life she would face after transmigrating, how could she bear to make things difficult for her parents? Going to the countryside was inevitable.

Not only must she go, but in this life, she was determined to ensure her parents and brother lived comfortably.

She already knew the script—but the ending would be written by her own hand!
