After the discussion, Zuo Ma immediately printed the contract in the study, and after signing it, Bai Ye officially became a member of Pero.
Zuo Ma quickly got into work mode and asked XDD:
"Little Xuan, isn't Delta Force planning a competition soon?"
"Yes, the Big Red Cup S2. Registration has already started, and it seems quite popular."
"Then Little Bai, you need to start streaming soon."
Zuo Ma looked at Bai Ye and said:
"Our Pero will definitely secure a spot in the competition, but we still need to follow the proper procedures. I'll have someone edit a highlight reel of your best moments during the stream and post it on TikTok to help you register..."
Bai Ye nodded immediately and replied:
"Okay, should I start streaming tonight?"
"No need to rush, tomorrow will be fine."
Zuo Ma thought for a moment and said:
"Today, let's first announce your joining the club to warm things up a bit. I'll contact Ape Planet later, and tomorrow night when you start streaming, I'll have Hakutaku come over to support you..."
"Hakutaku? Does our club have a partnership with Ape Planet?" Bai Ye asked curiously.
Bai Ye also enjoys browsing TikTok and is somewhat familiar with the current state of the Delta Force section.
Hakutaku is the first Delta Force streamer on the entire network to break ten million followers, alongside Lin Shu and Hao Tian, truly a top-tier streamer.
Although Bai Ye is confident in his skills, there are many skilled streamers who aren't popular.
Even Hao Tian, before participating in the Big Red Cup, only had two to three hundred viewers on average.
Having a collaboration with Hakutaku on his first stream is undoubtedly a great start.
"Little Bai, you just arrived, so you might not know. Pero and Ape Planet are funded by the same company, so we're technically sister units."
Zuo Ma explained with a smile:
"Little Xuan's contract is with Seafood Live, and our Pero hasn't had much influence on TikTok. But now that you're here, you'll be the main pillar for our club on TikTok, and we'll make sure you have the spotlight you deserve!"
Having just joined Pero today, Zuo Ma immediately secured a competition spot for him and arranged a collaboration with Hakutaku for his first stream. It's like having a mother who looks out for you.
Bai Ye was silent for a moment and then expressed his gratitude:
"Auntie, thank you for your efforts!"
"Child, we're family, no need to say such things."
Zuo Ma, known for her decisive actions, immediately started making calls to communicate with Ape Planet after the conversation.
Bai Ye followed XDD and drove to a three-story villa in the suburbs.
There weren't many people in the villa, mostly Delta Force streamers and Demon King Escorts, while PUBG and Peace Elite players were elsewhere.
The first floor was a relaxation area, dining room, and gym. The second floor was for living, and everyone usually streamed from their own rooms.
After showing Bai Ye around, XDD led him to the master bedroom on the third floor:
"Brother Bai, you can stay in this master bedroom. I used to live here, but I haven't been around much this year."
"The sheets and covers are newly changed by the housekeeper. If you need anything else, let the club's assistant know, and she'll arrange it for you..." Read this novel at novelping.com for the best experience.
The master bedroom was about sixty square meters, with a two-and-a-half-meter bed on one side and a separate leisure area on the other, where he would stream in the future.
Standing by the floor-to-ceiling window, the villa's garden came into view, offering a wide and beautiful scenery that was refreshing and delightful.
This living environment was worlds apart from the mere ten square meters he had at RNG.
Bai Ye exhaled a long breath and remarked:
"This place is really nice."
"Haha, as long as you're satisfied."
XDD laughed and said:
"Alright, don't get too sentimental. You have to stream tomorrow night, and we have a lot to do today..."
XDD took the day off from streaming and spent it running around with Bai Ye.
First, they took promotional photos for the club's publicity.
After that, they went to get a top-of-the-line computer.
CPU: 9950X3D
Motherboard: ASUS ROG X870
Graphics Card: ASUS RTX5090-32G Nightgod
These three components alone cost over 40,000, and with memory, hard drives, monitors, peripherals... everything added up to nearly 70,000.
Indeed, having strong backing makes things easier. If he were streaming from home, even borrowing 50,000 from XDD wouldn't be enough for such a setup.
While setting up the computer, XDD remarked with interest:
"This graphics card model is called Nightgod? Once your stream takes off, Brother Bai, you'll have to get ASUS to pay for advertising..."
Bai Ye joked:
"Come on, I'm afraid they'll sue me for riding on their coattails."
After downloading the streaming software and learning how to operate it from XDD, Bai Ye changed his TikTok name to 'Bai Ye: Delta Force' and added his account to Pero's media matrix.
They worked until eight or nine in the evening before XDD drove home.
Having not slept well the previous night, Bai Ye wasn't in the mood for gaming. After a shower, he lay on the comfortable big bed and soon fell into a deep sleep.
......
The next day, Bai Ye got up early.
The club had hired a cook who came every morning to prepare lunch and dinner.
There was no breakfast, as most of the internet-addicted youths streamed at night and usually slept until noon.
Bai Ye ran several laps around the villa area, took a quick shower, and then tried the nearby beef buns and spicy soup, which were quite tasty.
Time quickly moved to the evening, and XDD arrived early after his stream, sitting in a camera blind spot, he asked Bai Ye:
"How do you feel, Brother Bai, nervous about your first stream?"
"Nervous? I'm really excited right now!"
Bai Ye replied with a smile and began setting the stream title:
[Pero's Number One General, Prodigy Boy Every Game, Don't Believe It? Come Watch a Few Rounds!]
Start streaming! Enjoying the story? Read on at g.com.
Because the club had done some preliminary promotion yesterday and XDD had helped with publicity during his stream, viewers started entering the stream immediately after it went live.
[First!]
[Who are you, handsome?]
[You're the one who beat Little Zuo in seconds the other day, right? Finally, we get to see it from the first-person perspective!]
[Not only are you good at the game, but your looks are also somewhat threatening to me?]
[In one minute, I want all the information on this man!]
[Nightgod, I've been your fan for ten years!]
[What's the program today, Classified Solo Trio?]
The club bought some traffic, and with XDD's promotion, over a thousand people quickly joined the stream.
"Brothers, welcome to my stream."
Bai Ye said, looking at the comments on the secondary screen:
"Today's program is Escort for the Commander, please wait a moment..."
Meanwhile, in Hakutaku's stream.
Today, Hakutaku and Xiao Xiao Yan were doing their usual duo in Classified Aerospace, landing in the Dormitory and fighting their way into the Core Area. After looting the President's Office, they started working on the Safe Task.
Just as the safe was opened, Hakutaku heard gunfire from the Buoyancy Corridor and immediately said:
"Don't open the safe yet, someone is coming from Buoyancy, let's fight first and then loot."
Xiao Xiao Yan: "Okay, Commander!"
Hakutaku opened the President's door, quickly clearing out the bots at the entrance, and then took an A-Da to cover the Buoyancy Corridor.
Soon, a Red-Skin Black Wolf peeked from the Buoyancy entrance, and the next moment, an A-Da bullet hit the Black Wolf's chest accurately.
After knocking one down, Hakutaku immediately switched to Tiger Crouch, forcing the opponent's position.
At the same time, he sprinted over, using Jet Boost to reach the Buoyancy Corridor, preparing to catch the remaining two as they retreated.
The M14 roared wildly, instantly melting the Bee Medic who had his back turned.
But the last remaining member of the team, Mai Xiaowen, was clearly skilled. Hearing Hakutaku's footsteps advancing, she threw a flash drone in advance.
Just as Hakutaku knocked down the Bee Medic, he was fully flashed and then knocked down by Mai Xiaowen's leg shot.
Hakutaku: "Xiao Xiao Yan!!! Where are you?!"
At this point, Mai Xiaowen finished off Hakutaku, and the view switched to the teammate spectating interface. Hakutaku found Xiao Xiao Yan still in the President's room, opening the safe, and he had just found a smoothbore gun...
"Xiao Xiao Yan!!!"
Hakutaku shouted angrily:
"Didn't I say to fight first? Why are you still opening the safe?!"
Xiao Xiao Yan quickly put the smoothbore gun into his backpack and weakly said:
"Commander, I thought the safe task noise was too loud and might affect your ability to hear footsteps, so I wanted to finish the task quickly..."
