Illey, who had been leaning diagonally against the bed, seemed to be stroking the boxer shorts he wore instead of pajamas, then suddenly pulled out the bulging flesh that had been protruding.
“……”
Jung Tae-ui was momentarily speechless as he looked at the object filling the lower part of the monitor.
He hadn’t seen it for a while, but now he had to see that thing—estimated to be hundreds or thousands of miles away—even through the screen.
“So… you’re suggesting… phone sex or something?”
With a pale face, Jung Tae-ui joked. Though no smile appeared, it was still a joke.
Illey’s face, meanwhile, showed no excitement or tension in contrast to the stiffly erect object close to the monitor; he smiled loosely as if joking.
‘Why? Not interested? Seems like it could be fun.’
“If it goes that far, I feel like I’m properly hitting rock bottom in life, so no thanks.”
Thinking about hanging up and going back to his room, Jung Tae-ui hesitated—he had to consider potential consequences despite the distance.
Watching Jung Tae-ui slowly move away from the screen, Illey muttered, “Hmm, something’s off; the perspective looks weird, why is only that part enlarged?” Then, as Jung Tae-ui deliberately avoided looking at the screen, a faint sound like air escaping was heard.
‘Tae, you forgot? I told you you’re mine. If you forgot because it’s been too long, I’ll say it again. You’re—’
“Oh, what do you expect?!”
Hearing words that seemed to have brainwashed him a hundred times, Jung Tae-ui shuddered and reflexively interrupted, shouting.
The answer came simply.
‘Take off your pants.’
Just when he was getting comfortable after a couple months… that guy…
“Hey, Illey, I don’t know when you’ll be back, but when you come back, do whatever you want—”
‘One month.’
“Huh?”
‘I’ll be back in a month. Now, Tae, for your reluctant self, let me teach you something. Which do you think benefits you more: suffering three months all in one night, or handling two months over the phone in advance and just one month in one night?’
Hearing that, Jung Tae-ui had nothing to say. It was truly a new realization he’d never considered.
Illey nodded at the expressionless Jung Tae-ui staring at the monitor.
‘Take it off.’
Damn. He was thoroughly caught. If he tried to smooth this over or hung up, he’d surely pay for it in a month.
Jung Tae-ui rested his hands on his pants’ waistband, glaring at Illey. After a tense, silent stare-down lasting tens of seconds, he finally gave up and took his pants off.
He regretted answering that call. He should have just listened to the radio and gone to bed.
But it was too late for regret.
Suddenly angry, he threw his pants at the monitor. The pants dropped weakly to the floor, leaving only Illey’s defiant laughing face inside the monitor.
“So, what now? Take off your underwear too?”
‘Of course.’
Showing obvious displeasure, Jung Tae-ui snapped loudly but stared fiercely at that pale face which didn’t even twitch an eyebrow. He took off his underwear and threw it at the monitor. He briefly wished it would cover part of the screen, but such hopes never came true.
Now, even full nudity wouldn’t make much difference. Watching Illey stroke himself inside the monitor while standing naked in front of it felt subtly uncomfortable. Uncomfortable, really.
‘Sit down. Don’t stand there stiffly.’
That nonchalant attitude irritated him greatly. Well, Illey was always like that.
Still uncomfortable and frustrated, Jung Tae-ui sat roughly in his chair. Taking advantage of the moment, he threw his legs up on the chair too, daring anyone to try something.
‘Ah, very good. A spectacle.’
The object filling nearly the entire bottom of the monitor thickened further.
He realized his mistake but, since Illey was staring at him wide-eyed, it was pointless to look away.
Sometimes when talking to this guy, it felt like he was digging his own grave…
“Is a guy’s crotch really that spectacular?”
Jung Tae-ui grumbled sarcastically, while Illey’s white hand on his erect member moved more vigorously.
Illey looked straight at Jung Tae-ui and smiled. Ice-cold eyes softened with amusement. Even after years, those eyes felt unfamiliar. He didn’t understand why a smile in those eyes looked so strange.
‘Yeah, it’s spectacular. I want to hang up and run away or just hang myself right here, but I don’t show it and try to act calm.’
“...!”
Now was the time. Jung Tae-ui could feel this man’s nasty temperament as if it touched his skin.
“...You like that?”
He asked sarcastically, meaning “Do you really enjoy tormenting me like that?” Illey gave a strangely off-topic reply.
‘I wasn’t planning this originally, but seeing this makes me hungry. After two months of only imagining it in my head, seeing it again like this—my lower body aches as if my heart is tingling.’
Illey’s low, calm voice contrasted with the stiffening object approaching its peak.
His piercing gaze, lowered voice, faint breath of pleasure, and sticky hand stroking his manhood suddenly stabbed Jung Tae-ui’s chest. As he said, his heart tingled.
His neck grew hot.
Damn, living with this guy, even Jung Tae-ui felt his head going crazy.
‘Tae, spread your legs wider... Tae.’
He thought maybe his mind had gone a bit mad, as he obediently spread his legs more when told.
Hoping he wouldn’t get an erection himself in this situation, Jung Tae-ui leaned back in his chair, wanting to close his eyes—but the black eyes holding his gaze didn’t allow it.
“Tae,” he heard again.
Simultaneously, sticky liquid splattered faintly on the screen.
Droplets clung to the glass, slowly dripping down, while cold eyes pierced him relentlessly.
“...”
‘...It’s not good unless we’re actually together.’
Hearing that, Jung Tae-ui’s briefly forgotten anger flared back up.
That bastard just sprayed that mess all over the monitor a few seconds ago—how could he say it’s not good?
Before Jung Tae-ui could shout, Illey wiped the trace off the monitor with his fingertip. Jung Tae-ui flinched, feeling as if the finger was wiping him directly. Illey smiled faintly.
‘Yeah. I have to relieve you too. If we’re apart, that’s impossible. Sorry.’
“Not at all. No need to worry about that.”
If Illey wanted to relieve his urges from afar, that was scarier.
But swallowing his pride, Jung Tae-ui clicked his tongue and glared.
“Now then, say what you want. Why did you call?”
Cooling down slightly, the vague topic came to mind again. But Illey only looked at Jung Tae-ui silently, then muttered to himself.
‘You really don’t think I’m calling just to check in, do you?’
“Enough with the nonsense. Just say it. What, you curious about Uncle? Or the UNHRDO folks?”
Thinking the one who should check in was the caller, Jung Tae-ui asked. Illey tapped the nightstand a couple times, then shrugged as if it didn’t matter. Find the original chapter at g.com.
‘Instructor Jung Chang-in went there, huh? You must have met after a long time. Too bad. I wish I could have seen him too.’
“What kind of face is that? If you’re so sorry, meet him in a month. He’s coming back then.”
‘Hmm…?’
“There’s an international aviation tech forum next month in Frankfurt, and he said he’d be back then. Oh yeah, Jae-ui will attend, so I guess that’ll be a family reunion day for me at last.”
Wondering if he could finally put on clothes again, at least underwear, and silently hoping Illey had finished, Jung Tae-ui started tugging his clothes.
Illey was quietly watching him with his chin cupped in his hand.
“...Why?”
‘You said that and left...? So, you’re going to Frankfurt?’
A bitter tongue-click came at the end.
Jung Tae-ui stopped tugging clothes and looked quietly.
“...I think so. He said there wouldn’t be time to stop by Berlin. Same for Uncle and probably Jae-ui too.”
‘That’s unfortunate.’
“What is?”
‘Let’s promise to meet again next time.’
Jung Tae-ui fell silent again, this time longer.
He threw the clothes he held carelessly and sat upright facing the monitor.
“So basically, don’t go?”
‘Yes.’
“I’m going to see my family.”
‘See you next time.’
“...”
‘...’
Staring at Illey dumbfounded for a moment, discontent grew in Jung Tae-ui’s eyes, then turned fierce.
“I don’t want to.”
‘Then don’t go out. Stay put.’
“You go out all you want but you tell me to stay home...!”
‘Don’t go.’
“I won’t!”
Though he wasn’t that opposed and had no desperate resolve to meet Uncle and brother, hearing the cold, curt command revived his buried anger.
When Jung Tae-ui retorted sharply, Illey’s eyes instantly darkened.
“Jung Tae-ui. Don’t go.”
His quiet, clear voice pierced like a blade into his ear.
Hearing it, his timid feelings reared up again. But as soon as he noticed them, a near-self-mocking lament arose.
My life has become one where I can’t even go where I want or see those I want.
“Why can’t I go?”
Jung Tae-ui asked sourly. No reply came.
So he asked once more.
“Why can’t I go?”
