Avur and Pixie were taken to Althea’s hospital room.

Althea tended to his injuries.

Avur’s injuries were immense: he had lost over three liters of blood and was thankfully still alive.Full novel: Die;REPEAT – Trapped in a World Where I Don’t Belong — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

The healing of his right arm and burned hand was also difficult, but ultimately everything turned out well, and both now rest peacefully in their respective CP beds.

CP stands for Clinical Pulse beds.

These beds are used to display the body on a digital screen, showing where the body is injured, poisoned, or ill, and much more, to help an injured or ill student or teacher.

It also indicates whether a human, beastman hybrid, or other being is mentally or physically unstable, whether they are missing a bone, or whether they are brain dead.

It simply visualizes the processes within another person’s body using blue and black light.

A red light or red dot on the body part shown on the digital screen means that this body part is definitely injured.

Green represents illness, purple poisoning, and yellow the loss of a limb, cell, or a disability.

Daxxel went to see Avur and brought him flowers, bananas, apples and other fruit, as he had no idea what Avur might like.

He took a chair and sat down next to his CP bed.

Then he placed the bowl of fruit and flowers on the bedside table that patients have in their nursing rooms at the academy.

Daxxel seemed kind of sad.

For some reason, he almost had tears in his eyes.

He sat there silently for a few minutes.

“Man, you’re really crazy, buddy.

I wish I were as carefree as you.”

He sighed and said, “I hope you’ll always remain my friend.

I’m risking everything for you right now.” Then he left.

One day…

one day you’ll understand Avur…

those were Daxxel’s thoughts.

The next day, both Avur and Pixie woke up to the loud ringing of the magic clock, and both shouted, “Who won the fight?!”

They looked at each other.

Avur grimaced in disgust when he saw her; after all, she had badly injured him.

Pixie stared at him in horror, her eyes wide, and then they both cried out, “You!

What are you doing here?!”

Althea intervened before anything could happen: “Now now, kiddos, you two should eat something and make up.

Then Daxxel spoke up, leaning in the doorway with his arms crossed and laughing: “I didn’t think you could be so childish, Avur.

Do you really think Pixie wanted to hurt you on purpose at the tournament?

Accidents happen, and you almost killed her.

So you should apologize to her before we’re late for class.”

Althea looked at Daxxel with pity; for some reason she saw something about him that made her feel bad, without knowing why.

While no one else noticed anything unusual about Daxxel.

Althea tried to distract herself by serving Pixie and Avur a plate of mosaya and okosaji.

While they were talking.

Mosaya and okosaji look almost like rice with vegetables and a little meat.

Mosaya is green, shaped like rice grains, and slightly longer and thicker than regular rice.

Okosaji is simply a mixture of lava dog meat and vegetables.

Lava dog meat comes from a creature resembling a dog, almost as large as a human, and terrifyingly strong.

It is hunted by anti-heroes, heroes, adventurers, and many others.

After all, there’s plenty to explore in this world.

The meat of the lava dog is already cooked when the lava dog is killed, as the creature’s body is constantly cooking and therefore edible.

While it tastes good, there are many other things that taste better.

After the meal, Avur and Daxxel thanked Althea and then went to their classroom to check their tournament results.

Avur finished in 15th place, which meant he was almost an S-class, while Pixie landed in 14th.

She was the last one to remain conscious in the fight, which reportedly ended in a draw.

This is quite unfair, as Avur gave it his all and ended up finishing one place behind her.

While Daxxel had ended up being ranked in 17th place, its still good though.

If he were ranked 51th then he would be in B-class

The ranking list shows what rank you would have if you had a lower or higher rank than your current rank:

1st rank — Z-class

2nd–10th rank — S-class

11th–50th rank — A-class

51st–150th rank — B-class

151st–230th rank — C-class

231st–300th rank — D-class

301st–450th rank — E-class

451st–532nd rank — F-class

Z-class?

Who could have gotten that?

“Dax, do you know who got the Z-class and what the Z stands for?”

Daxxel patiently explained to him what the Z-Class stood for: “Z-class means Zenith.

I don’t quite understand what it means, but it’s also called Omega.

That means the strongest receive these titles, and the strongest at the moment is Liliana Oskeeria.

She’s a cold but beautiful girl and has already rejected many boys, which is why she’s called the ‘Ice Princess.’ She’s very gifted and masters almost all kinds of magic.

Her only flaw is that she can’t use simple magic.”

Avur was confused.

How could someone so talented not use simple magic?

He asked Daxxel, “Why can’t she use simple magic then?

Is she simply not good enough for it?”

Daxxel shrugged casually.

“I don’t know why, maybe she was cursed, but whatever, even without basic magic she can defeat us all.”

“I’m getting hungry.

I hope you ate the vegetables I gave you yesterday.

You really did look like a couch potato on the CP bed.”

“Yes, I ate them, but who put the flowers there?

Was it you, or did I get them from a girl?” Avur had probably hoped that girls would chase after him, but reality is harsher than fantasy.

“Of course it was me.

Maybe you think about girls too much.

It is not good to think about girls while studying for academic achievements and learning magic at the same time.” Daxxel is quite blunt.

He still can’t read Avur’s thoughts; something unknown is blocking his ability to do so.

“I think so.

I don’t know why, but you always have my back, Dax.

Thank you for always being there for me.” Avur is happy.

Having a friend like Daxxel is so much better than being alone, especially since Daxxel is very loyal to Avur and would never betray him.

Daxxel held him in a headlock and ruffled his hair with his hand.

“We’re friends, after all, we always stick together.

So never let me down, Avur.”
