Solsidan’s ride was… awkward to say the least.

Rhys, Wolf, and Ms.

Hollow were in the same carriage as last time, with the same guards in the one before them, but something felt… off…Full novel: Divine’s Infinity: Hell without severance — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

Ms.

Hollow was currently in her own thoughts.

Wondering about how harsh Rhys’s true, whole-hearted feelings were for everything she said.

With him coming back, almost as if their argument had never happened.

Wolf seemed to be different though, a lot more distant than she was a while ago.

Rhys was also wondering about something with Ms.

Hollow.

How many lies and deceptions has she planned, just for him to stay?

What happened to the trainer that she never named?

Where was her preparation?

He was also wondering why she only had a dress shirt for him to wear ever since his other clothes and gloves were dirty.

Leaving has disgusting hands and claws exposed to the world.

Rhys: [How much longer until we make it to Svarda?]

She waits for a second, seeing if he would crack again.

Ms.

Hollow: [I don’t know…]

Rhys: [Why are we even coming here if we got told off by the Queen?]

Ms.

Hollow: [What’s she going to do about it?]

Rhys: [I guess…]

He thought maybe Queen Freja’s words cut deeply into Ms.

Hollows psyche and opportunities.

Maybe thinking about asking Tom or the other guards about her when she’s not around.

???: [Hey!

We’re here!]

One of the unnamed guards called out to the three of them.

Just before the sudden halt that shook them all awake.

Ms.

Hollow: [Alright!]

Rhys and Wolf were both shocked.

Ms.

Hollow: [All we need to do is convince those guys to leave and join our cause!]

They all stepped out and saw the outside of Svarda in all its beauty.

It looked very singular to Solsidan, yet with a lot more stone and medieval-styled buildings compared to the capital.

It also didn’t have a wall encompassing the whole thing, making the entire city open to be viewed by the public.

Rhys could faintly see Lys, the other city from afar.

Nobody else really could, though.

Ms.

Hollow: [Alright, Mogi!

This is what we’re going to do!]

She gripped his shoulders tightly.

Locking him in place somehow.

Ms.

Hollow: [I will go talk to the people around the main gathering area of this place!

Whilst you can walk around and convince people however you like…]

She emphasized that part unnecessarily long.

Rhys: [Shouldn’t we… stick together and do it right next to each other—]

Ms.

Hollow: [Nope!

C’mon!]

She guided him forward as he watched the other guards hop out of their carriage.

One of them seemed to be locked onto Rhys’s point of view.

With him guessing, that might be something he has to worry about later on.

This city felt way more ominous than the last one.

Maybe it was because Ms.

Hollow’s aura felt off, or maybe this might be truly unfamiliar territory.

Or it could be the guard’s blank face on Rhys’s back.

The death stare seemed to grow from just jealousy, though.

Rhys: [What’re the other Assistants like?]

Ms.

Hollow: [You’ll see once they see me…]

They entered cautiously.

As the air shifted from their combined presence.

People stared, but not just at Rhys, but also at the strongest.

Thankfully for him, he could just pretend that they only cared about her.

It’s going to be hard for them to split off.

Which probably made Wolf more anxious than Rhys would ever have been.

Rhys: [Do we… split off now?]

Ms.

Hollow: [Yeah… I’ve got it from here… all you have to do is convince as many people as possible to join my plan…]

Rhys and Wolf both go to the right and leave as soon as possible.

Leaving only the guards and Ms.

Hollow to be confronted by an old friend.

???: [Hey!]

Ms.

Hollow looked forward to see Mr.

Savois, someone whom she hadn’t seen in a while.

Mr.

Savois: [What’re you doing here… Hollow…]

Ms.

Hollow: [Oh, hey Savois!

You’re just the person I would want to talk to!]

Savois: [I thought you weren’t supposed to interfere with my city…]

Hollow: [Well… about that… I’m going to need you to evacuate this city for me!

M’kay!]

Savois: [Why the hell would I do such a thing?]

Hollow: [Because!

It’s the perfect place for my angel friend and me to finally defeat Divine’s Wrath once and for all!]

Savois: [And you’re gonna do that… by leaving everyone here homeless so you two can destroy the place and not even kill it… Wait, you said what now?!]

Hollow: [What?

My angel friend?

Yeah, I may have found an angel bunking it in the woods with a wolf that can use magic very well… what about it?]

Savois: [D-does the Queen know about this?!]

Hollow: [I mean… yeah… but why would that matter?

She can’t touch me, and neither can you…]

She suddenly stepped really close into Mr.

Savois’s personal space.

Sending tiny shivers down his spine.

Her rough hands were touching Savois’s clothes, almost giving him a heart attack right then and there.

Ms.

Hollow: [I’d suggest if you don’t get in my way… I was fine with all of you guys not listening to me before… but not with this… I need this…]

She walked off with her guards right behind her.

Mr.

Tom can’t take her shit any longer.

There was a large fountain in the centre of Svarda.

Where most civilians hang around at most times of the day.

It’s a brilliant spot to relax and talk to new people.

People also use it to cool the surrounding air.

It also had another grand purpose.

Ms.

Hollow: [Hey!

Svardians!]

Everybody around the fountain looked up and saw that Ms.

Hollow, the strongest in all of Stjerna, was currently floating right above the tip of their precious fountain.

They were all shocked.

Ms.

Hollow: [I have a plan to take down Divine’s Wrath once and for all!]

They all gasped.

That monster was like nothing any of them had ever seen.

Ever since it almost fully destroyed their city a decade ago.

Ms.

Hollow: [I’m gonna need all of you!

To evacuate this city next month!

My friend and I are going to need this space for a surprise attack we’re planning…]

The people were not too keen on leaving everything behind so that it could get destroyed.

Learning how delusional this woman has been ever since she got here.

???: [No!

You can’t just kick us out of our city!]

Everyone: [Yeah!]

Ms.

Hollow: [What?!

You guys don’t understand what I’m trying to do here!

If we sacrifice ourselves, then future generations won’t have to deal with this threat ever again!]

???: [Get out of here with your shitty plans!]

Everyone: [Yeah!!]

Her left eye twitched, realising that she couldn’t get them on her side without minor force.

Ms.

Hollow: [Alright then… I guess I could just do this…]

She suddenly spawned down to the hecklers’ level.

???: [What the—]

She grabbed him by the mouth and lifted him off the ground.

Ms.

Hollow: [Divine’s Wrath is going to get here.

I just know it!

So you can listen to me and FUCKING evacuate.

Then we won’t have any problems, will we?]

He thrashed and tried desperately to breathe.

People around then watched in horror as she executed a level of determination that nobody had ever seen before.

Not even Ms.

Hollow knew she would go this far at first.

Tom had enough at this point.

Not wanting her to lose sight of her plan any longer.

That angle was way too much power, that she could ever handle on her own.

That angel had to go.
