Ms.

Hollow: [Jeez… How much longer are all of you cockroaches going to stand there…]

Her face darkened, just as something a lot more sinister came to light.Full novel: Divine’s Infinity: Hell without severance — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

Ms.

Hollow: [NOW!]

Her grip tightened on the man’s neck.

Slowly breaking the first layer of skin.

He choked and croaked as loudly as he could.

Wanting desperately to be saved.

Or at least put out of his misery.

The people finally got the memo once blood started trickling from her hand.

With her expertise in all things magic, added to her immense strength.

No human could stop her.

Ms.

Hollow: [Finally!

It seems you guys only listen to orders when disobeying has consequences… I’ll keep that in mind after I torture Divine’s Wrath…]

Her eyes protruded.

With consequences and hatred fully out the window for her.

Only one path presented itself.

She didn’t care if everyone hated her for this.

Her goal was the only thing that mattered.

She threw the damaged man to the side.

Having him fall into the side of a building from the force.

Civilians rushed to his aid.

Seeing as he was bleeding from his neck and his entire back shattered on impact.

What looked to be his wife and kids were all sobbing over this man losing his life right in front of their eyes.

Wife: [Monster…]

Ms.

Hollow: [Huh…?]

Wife: [YOU FUCKING MONSTER!!!]

The wife gathered her mana in her hand and made a tiny fireball.

Throwing in Ms.

Hollow’s general direction.

Ms.

Hollow looked to use a bit of her own man to nullify the wife’s fireball.

Her neck snapped to their family’s disarray.

She saw how much they all cared for that man’s safety.

It disgusted her.

A shit ton of mana came flying down towards the family.

In less than an instant.

The man was healed to full health once again.

He felt his neck being meticulously rebuilt.

Finally, being able to move again.

Ms.

Hollow: [I’m not a monster!

I’m not evil!

I’m doing this for you guys’ own good here!

The man looked up at her in horror.

Finally, they were all meant to see what level she’ll stoop to get her way.

Hollow: [I want to work with you guys… so do as I say and we’ll get through this together… as a collective…]

He could see the look in her eyes.

She was and will never tell the truth.

As long as what she needs is to lie.

She’ll do it.

Rhys: [Hollow!!]

The main character finally showed himself, with Tom still not having his helmet on, and Wolf right beside him.

He saw everything, and it made him sick.

Rhys: [Stop this bullshit!

You are so fucking selfish!]

Hollow: [I thought I told you to talk to people on the street.

What happened to that?]

She looked over at Tom.

Hollow: [And what do you think you’re doing like that?

You know you’re not allowed to show your face like that…]

She pointed her left hand outward and signalled him to come over.

He did as told, even to the shock and dismay of Rhys and Wolf.

Once he got close enough to her, they both walked away from the fountain and the people, without saying another word.

The other guards were also told not to come with them.

Leaving everyone else wondering what she’ll do with him.

*Smack!

*Thud!

Ms.

Hollow: [Who, do you think you are?

Leaving my side, just to go and ruin my one change of revenge!

I should kill you where your filthy hands lay!!]

He doesn’t say a word.

Knowing that announcing another peep will just cause him nothing but stagnance and death.

Ms.

Hollow: [C’mon now!

Don’t just sit there!

Give me an explanation before a blow your FUCKING BRAINS OUT!!]

His last plan was not the best…

Tom: [Hollow!

Please!

Let go of this plan!

I’m begging you!

You’re just going to get yourself killed!

It’s not worth it!]

Ms.

Hollow: [Why do you care so much about this!

I told you… to stay out of my duties!

You’re nothing more than an insignificant speck for everyone who speaks to you.

So why would I listen to you!]

Tom: [Because I fucking love you!

And I don’t want you to kill yourself over some stupid goal!

Why else would I keep on dealing with your bullshit!!]

Hollow: [Yeah, well, I hate you.

I hate you with all of my being.

If you come near Mogi, EVER again… I will make sure your death will be painful.

You got that shitstain?]

She threw his helmet back at his head, with him not remembering a time that she could’ve stolen it.

Hollow: [Get the hell out of my face… I don’t need a shitty guard who can’t follow orders like a good boy.

Never come near me ever again… never come near my plan ever again… never come near any of your past colleagues, ever again.

You are kicked out!!]

He gathered his things and got back onto his two feet.

He knew damn well that Hollo didn’t have the balls to kill someone she had so much deep history with.

Making it all seem like it is all talk.

Right?

Tom: Goddamn bitch!

Why do I have to love you so much!

Determination filled his eyes.

With his delusional mind thinking that maybe, just maybe, he could help her change.

He just needed to keep on trying; how else is he supposed to live with himself if he knows that the love of his life is essentially killing herself.

No human could ever live with that fact and not be a little mental sometimes.

Tom: Rhys, if you can somehow read my thoughts, please don’t be complacent with her from now on.

I want you.

To take accountability and set her straight.

Ever if it means confronting why you hate yourself so much.

Only you can fix her.

I’ve done all I can…

He leaves on that note.

Walking right back to the carriages, and looked at the rider before hopping back into the very back one.

Given the look on Tom’s face, the rider knew damn well what he wanted.

And immediately set back off towards the capital.

Rhys and the others waited for a while.

Wondering what was taking the two of them so long.

Then she showed back up, and Tom wasn’t there.

A sinking feeling boiled within Rhys’s stomach, something he had never felt until this point.

Or at least, that’s as much as he could remember at that moment.

Ms.

Hollow: [I’m sorry about that guard!

He was out of line, and not following orders, so I had to send him away.]

The other guards who were sitting there shivered just a little.

Ms.

Hollow: [And no, I did not kill him!

Like I said before.

I’m not a monster, I’m not evil, I just want vengeance on the people the monster killed.

And I won’t let anyone stop that from happening…]
