Akira walked over to the first Flesh Hound’s corpse and pressed his palm against it.

“Devour.”

A stream of black and red light surged out, quickly wrapping and decomposing the massive corpse.Full novel: Dormitory Survival: My Roommate Is an Anime Heroine — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

Leaning against a shelf, Shiraki Meiko stared intently at Akira’s actions.

Her sweat-dampened eyelashes trembled slightly, but her face didn’t show too much surprise.

In this world where common sense had long been overturned, any bizarre occurrence seemed to have become acceptable.

[Devour successful!]

[Strength +3, Agility +3, Constitution +3!]

A warm current surged into his body.

Without pausing, Akira walked over to the second corpse and repeated the same action.

This time, however, the system notification sound was different.

[Devour successful!]

[Strength +3, Agility +3, Constitution +3!]

[You have obtained a new trait: Flesh Regeneration (Your body has gained the ability to heal wounds rapidly)]

Flesh Regeneration?

The system notification sounded in his mind, and the last few words made Akira pause in his actions.

He slowly raised his left hand.

The few scraped wounds he had sustained earlier to block the hound’s Sharp Claws were now wriggling and healing at an incredible speed.

Granulation tissue grew frantically, filling the wounds, and new skin quickly covered them.

In just over ten seconds, apart from a few faint red marks, those injuries had vanished without a trace.

Akira felt the new power surging within his body, his eyes flickering slightly.

This was not just simple recovery; it meant a whole new way of fighting.

Trading injury for injury.

When facing enemies whose defenses could not be easily breached, he no longer had to worry about his own injuries.

He could pay the price of taking a non-lethal blow in exchange for a chance to deliver a one-hit kill.

As long as it wasn’t an attack that would kill him instantly, he could completely adopt the highest-risk playstyle within the range where his injuries could heal.

“Thank you for saving me.”

A slightly hoarse but exceptionally serious voice came from behind him.

Akira turned around and saw that Shiraki Meiko had stood up at some point, supporting herself on a shelf.

She walked to about two steps in front of Akira, stood still, and then bowed deeply to him.

It was a standard, classic gesture of gratitude, expressing her most sincere thanks.

Sweat was still dripping from the tips of her ash-blonde hair.

The school uniform clinging to her body perfectly outlined her staggering curves.

Her dark underwear was faintly visible beneath the white shirt, and with the rise and fall of her breathing, the breathtaking cleavage of her chest became increasingly distinct.

“It was nothing,” Akira replied flatly.

He was more concerned about another issue.

According to the rules of this world, survivors usually acted in units based on their Dormitory.

Yet, after all this time, he hadn’t seen Shiraki Meiko’s teammate.

Just then, the light at the supermarket entrance dimmed, and Takagi Saya’s figure walked in from the outside.

After confirming there was no hidden danger, her gaze finally landed on Akira and Shiraki Meiko, who was standing opposite him.

Then, she froze completely.

Takagi Saya’s gaze roved almost uncontrollably over that completely sweat-drenched body.

The thin white shirt had become semi-transparent, fully exposing the color and outline of her underwear.

Meanwhile, the excessively short skirt on her lower half clung tightly to her body due to being soaked, making her feel like her worldview was being shattered.

Takagi Saya’s eyes swept uncontrollably over the sweat-soaked body.

The white shirt was nearly semi-transparent, with the outline of the dark underwear clearly visible.

The extremely short skirt on her lower half made her feel it was somewhat absurd.

She quietly leaned close to Akira and blew into his ear.

“This outfit is a bit too indecent!”

A faint, barely noticeable blush appeared on the young girl’s cheeks.

As Shiraki Meiko stood up straight, her skirt rode up, clearly revealing the outline of the water-stained fabric at the base of her thighs.

Akira’s lips twitched.

Wasn’t this the pot calling the kettle black?

Takagi Saya’s usual outfit was not much better; it was just that she paid attention to her chest area, and her skirt wasn’t quite as short.

“This is Takagi Saya, my teammate,” Akira introduced briefly.

“Shiraki Meiko,” Shiraki Meiko also nodded to Takagi Saya as a greeting.

After a brief silence, Akira spoke first, getting straight to the point.

“Ms.

Shiraki Meiko, where is your roommate?”

Hearing Akira’s words, Shiraki Meiko asked in some confusion, “Roommate?”

“You also appeared out of thin air in a Dormitory, right?

You should have a teammate, right?” Takagi Saya asked.

Hearing this, Shiraki Meiko shook her head.

“No, although I also inexplicably appeared in a Dormitory, I was the only person in that Dormitory.”

Only one person?

Akira and Takagi Saya exchanged a look, both of them showing some surprise in their eyes.

Why was there no roommate with Shiraki Meiko?

“Actually, I find it strange too.” She pushed up the glasses on the bridge of her nose, which were covered in condensation, and said in a serious tone, “You are the first people I have met in this world whom I can communicate with.

Before this, I hadn’t seen a single person.”

Takagi Saya was taken aback and quickly asked, “Is your Dormitory building also isolated in its own area, with you as the only person in the entire building?”

Only one person?

Shiraki Meiko nodded.

This information caught both Akira and Takagi Saya by surprise.

“Then how did you…” Takagi Saya couldn’t help but speak.

Facing monster attacks all by herself, how did she survive until now?

“I can handle those low-level zombie monsters,” Shiraki Meiko explained briefly, as if understanding her doubt.

Then, she dropped an even more shocking piece of information.

“And, for some reason, I seem to have two talents.”

After confirming that the two did not harbor any ill intentions, Shiraki Meiko shared her abilities.

[Talent: Sadist (S-rank)]

[Building and resource materials whipped by your whip will yield 1.5 times the materials when disassembled.]

This first talent alone shocked them both.

Of course, Takagi Saya was the more surprised one, while Akira’s expression became somewhat weirded out by the name of this talent.

This ability indeed matched her background perfectly.

It might not seem tempting right now but who knows what the future holds?

“And If you’re enjoying it, drop a Power Stone for me!”
