Standing at the back of the group, Huo Yuhao was suddenly shocked, for he felt a mass of black mist appear within his Spirit sea, condensing into the vague phantom of an old man.

Skydream Iceworm looked terrified, shrinking into a corner in fear: “What is this aura?!”

The Ice Empress gasped: “So strong!Full novel: Douluo Dalu 2: I Transmigrated as Qian Daoliu — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

It’s even stronger than I was at my peak!”

“There is no need to be nervous, child.” The old man’s voice was hoarse and deep, carrying a calmness born of having weathered the ages.

“My name is Electrolux; you may call me Elder Electrolux.”

Huo Yuhao swallowed hard, his mind racing as he asked the question that puzzled him most: “Elder, have you been in my Spirit sea all this time?”

“Why didn’t Skydream-ge and I know of your existence before?”

No expression could be discerned on Electrolux’s vague face.

“This old man is but a wisp of a remnant soul, possessing little consciousness and having remained in a state of slumber.

The aura within that person just now awakened me, which is how I was able to rouse.”

At this point, Electrolux paused, his tone becoming somewhat playful.

“I sensed the aura of a Divinity within him.”

Once these words were spoken, the entire Spirit sea trembled.

Skydream Iceworm’s plump body shuddered violently, his voice changing pitch: “What?

The aura of a Divinity?

Are you sure you aren’t mistaken?”

The Ice Empress’s expression was also grave to the extreme; she stared fixedly at Electrolux, attempting to discern something from the old man’s face.

But she was disappointed.

Electrolux’s features remained blurred throughout.

It was impossible to make out any expression at all.

“This old man was once known as the Necromancer Deity; although I was not a true Divinity, I did touch the threshold of one, and could be considered a demigod.”

“Therefore, my perception cannot be wrong.

The aura within that person just now absolutely reached the dimension of a Divinity.”

Necromancer Deity?

A demigod?

Huo Yuhao felt as if his brain couldn’t keep up.

How old was he this year?

The strongest people he had ever come into contact with were the elder veterans of Shrek Academy; a Limit Douluo was already an unattainable existence in his eyes.

And yet, an old man had suddenly appeared, claiming to have once been a demigod?

Fortunately, the other party did not seem to have any malice toward him.

“Elder, could that person from just now actually be a Divinity?”

Skydream Iceworm spoke up: “Heavens, if that’s really the case, then that is too terrifying.

To think there are still Divinities remaining in the human World—truly horrifying!”

The Ice Empress, however, shook her head, her tone firm: “Impossible.

Such a thing is absolutely impossible.

In the past ten thousand years, apart from those seven from Shrek and those two from Spirit Hall, no one has attained godhood at all.

I am very certain of this.”

Electrolux did not refute her, only saying calmly: “That person is not a Divinity, but there is indeed the aura of a Divinity within his body.

This is also where this old man is puzzled.”

His gaze immediately turned to Huo Yuhao, a glimmer of light flashing in his deep eyes.

“Yuhao, if you can see that person again next time, you must build a good relationship with him.

If this old man can observe him up close, perhaps I will have some clues.”

Huo Yuhao nodded subconsciously.

His mind was a complete mess right now, but he still took Elder Electrolux’s words to heart.

“Elder, you previously touched the threshold of a Divinity—is that true?” Huo Yuhao asked, a look of longing on his face.

He had never even dared to imagine the existence of a Divinity before.

Now, an old man claiming to be a demigod had suddenly appeared.

Naturally, he wanted to understand more.

Skydream Iceworm also perked up; as a million-year Spirit Beast, it dreamed of attaining godhood, so it pricked up its ears at this moment, ready to hear what this old man had to say.

The Ice Empress was the same.

Electrolux first nodded, then shook his head: “This old man’s memory is currently fragmented; I only remember this matter, but I cannot be certain if it is true.”

“If you wish to understand the Domain of Divinities, please forgive me for being unable to answer; at the very least, I must wait until this old man recovers his memories.”

Huo Yuhao immediately felt regret, but still said respectfully: “It’s alright, Elder.

There will be plenty of time in the future.”

Skydream Iceworm and the Ice Empress also expressed understanding.

After all, he was but a wisp of a remnant soul; being able to recall some things from the past was already not easy, and asking for more was truly unrealistic.

“By the way, Elder,” Huo Yuhao suddenly asked curiously, “that Senior who saved us just now—do you know what kind of Divinity the aura in his body belongs to?”

Electrolux was silent for a moment, then spoke slowly.

“The aura I perceived was holy, bright, and carried a sense of judgment.

It should be an angel-type Divinity, but I cannot be completely certain.”

An angel-type Divinity?

The image of the Senior from just now flashed through Huo Yuhao’s mind.

White robes, golden hair, and three pairs of golden wings on his back—he did indeed look exactly like the angels of legend.

“Thank you for telling me, Elder.”

Huo Yuhao said respectfully.

Electrolux nodded slightly, his figure gradually becoming illusory.

“This old man has just awakened and needs time to stabilize my remnant soul, so I will return to slumber.

Yuhao, remember my words: if you see that person, you must build a good relationship with him.”

As his voice faded, the black mist dispersed once more, merging into the depths of the Spirit sea.

Huo Yuhao returned to his senses and discovered that the surrounding teammates were still cleaning up the aftermath; Elder Xuan was talking to Wang Yan, and no one had noticed his abnormality.

He took a deep breath, suppressed the shock in his heart, and decided not to say anything for now.

…

On the other side.

Qian Daoliu had already left the Mingdou Mountain Range.

He had to figure out as soon as possible what had happened to Spirit Hall; although he already had the worst-case scenario in his heart, he still wanted to confirm it with his own eyes.

After flying for about half an hour, Qian Daoliu saw a small town in the distance.

The town was not large, the buildings low and dilapidated; there weren’t even city walls, only a circle of fences simply enclosed with wood and stones.

Qian Daoliu descended from the sky, landing at the entrance of the small town.

The pedestrians on the road saw this scene and were immediately stunned.

“Heavens…

a person fell from the sky!”

“No, he flew down!

He has wings on his back!”

“Keep it down, don’t offend the noble adult!”

The pedestrians stopped one after another, bowing and saluting toward Qian Daoliu, their faces filled with awe.

Qian Daoliu glanced around.

He frowned slightly.

This small town was even more backward than he had imagined.

The road was bumpy and uneven, and the houses on both sides were mostly built of stone; some didn’t even have their roofs fixed, only covered with thatch.

The pedestrians wore ragged clothes, their faces sallow and bodies emaciated; some were even swaying as they walked, clearly looking like they had been starving for years.

Qian Daoliu’s brows were tightly locked.

In this current era, why did the lives of commoners seem worse than they were back then?

He suppressed his doubts, randomly found a passerby, and asked: “Do you know where Spirit Hall is?”

The other party looked blank upon hearing this question: “Spirit Hall?

Noble adult, what is Spirit Hall?”

Qian Daoliu’s heart skipped a beat; he subsequently asked a few more people, but the answers he received were all the same.

They didn’t know.

They hadn’t heard of it.

What is Spirit Hall?

Qian Daoliu’s expression grew increasingly ugly, but he still held onto a sliver of fantasy.

Perhaps Spirit Hall had just declined, and it was normal for people in a remote small town not to know.

He decided to go to a larger city to find someone else to ask.

Just as he was preparing to leave.

Suddenly, a little girl ran over.

The little girl was about seven or eight years old, wearing an old, washed-out garment, her face dirty, and her eyes red and swollen from crying.

“Uncle!” The little girl fell to her knees with a thud, kowtowing to Qian Daoliu.

“Please, save my mother!

My mother is dying!”

As she spoke, tears streamed down the little girl’s face.

Qian Daoliu could least stand to see such things; the softness in his heart was touched, so he hurriedly reached out to help the little girl up, his tone gentle: “Don’t cry, hurry and take this old man to see your mother.”
