Qian Renxue remained unmoved, still maintaining that posture and expression, the action of puffing out her chest and raising her head being particularly obvious.

It was as if she were stating an indisputable fact.

“My chest is just bigger than yours, Hu Liena.” Hu Liena’s back teeth ground together with a creak.Full novel: Douluo Dalu: Clock Martial Soul — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

She felt like she was about to be driven crazy by this woman who was completely immune to her words.

She suppressed the urge to throw the pillow at her, taking several deep breaths before squeezing out a sentence through gritted teeth: “It’s not certain yet who will be greater in the future!”

After speaking, she gave a heavy huff, turned around, and walked quickly back to her bed.

She sat down and picked up the volume of Spirit Ability Manual, but she couldn’t focus on a single word.

Qian Renxue watched Hu Liena’s huffy retreating figure, the corner of her mouth curling into a victor-like smile.

Only then did she turn back and continue to slowly groom her long hair.

The room fell back into an eerie silence.

Only the subtle breathing of the two and the occasional light sound of objects touching remained as time quietly slipped away amidst this silent contest and subtle atmosphere.

Outside the window, the night grew deeper, and the lights within the inner city of Spirit City gradually became sparse.

The chime of the Soul Guidance Clock Tower faintly signaled the hour—exactly eight o’clock in the evening.

Su Xu was like a statue blending into the night and the shadows of the building, with only the occasional faint glint of a distant Soul Guidance Lamp reflecting off the gaps in his armor.

“They’re all there…

and it seems none of them are asleep; they’re quite energetic,” Su Xu judged in his heart.

A mixture of excitement, anticipation, and cold calculation churned and brewed in his chest like a volcano about to erupt.

His ‘energy’ was already fully charged, almost to the point of overflowing.

The Time Stop ability was like a lurking Vicious Beast, waiting for the command to be released.

Now is the time!

A sharp light flashed in his eyes, and he no longer hesitated for a moment.

“Time Stop!

Activate!” The silent command was issued.

With Su Xu as the center, invisible energy began to spread rapidly, and time instantly fell into absolute stagnation.

The night wind stopped, leaves hung suspended in the air, and the footsteps of the distant patrol team and the chirping of insects came to an abrupt halt.

All the sentries in the light and dark, the patrolling guards, the maids walking in the hall, and even the night birds in the garden about to take flight were all frozen into a series of still paintings.

Colors faded to grey and white, and sounds were extinguished into nothingness.

Only Su Xu’s consciousness traveled freely within this field of deathly silence.

He moved quickly, like an experienced infiltrator, swiftly stripping off the pieces of armor that might hinder his movements and hiding them in a dark corner by the sentry post. Get faster updates on novelping.com.

Immediately after, his figure turned into a faint shadow that almost blended into the night, gliding lightly and swiftly toward the main hall of the Saintess Hall along a pre-calculated route.

At the hall’s entrance, two female guards on duty were like exquisite white jade statues, their gazes frozen forward.

Su Xu glided silently past them and pushed open the hall doors, which were not locked from the inside.

Stepping into the hall, the first-floor lobby was empty and quiet, with only the wall lamps emitting a frozen glow.

Without staying for a moment, he drifted up to the second floor like a wisp of green smoke along the carpeted spiral staircase.

The second-floor corridor was equally quiet.

His target was clear.

The bedroom door at the end of the corridor, with bright light peeking out from under the door gap.

Standing before the door, Su Xu held his breath, concentrated his mind, and gently pushed the door open.

The scene inside the room instantly met his eyes, causing his breath to hitch.

The room was spacious and magnificent, with two Soul Guidance desk lamps emitting a soft, bright light, illuminating the interior like daylight.

The air was filled with two distinct yet intoxicating fragrances, mixed with the fresh water vapor after bathing.

Near the door was Qian Renxue’s new Domain.

She was facing away from the door, sitting sideways in front of that brand-new Agarwood Dressing Table.
