Godzilla carefully recalled everything he knew about the Mortal World.
The Mortal World was the “cell” of the Singularity Monster, representing a higher-order information system that existed beyond ordinary DNA.
In other words, it was essentially a projection of the Universe’s Origin.
It could read the material interactions, genetic information, and expression mechanisms of the entire Universe before using that information to create Singularity Monsters.
If the Deep Sea Demon Whale King had merely been contaminated by the Mortal World, there might still have been a glimmer of hope for him.
Unfortunately, that was not what happened.
The impatient whale had swallowed the Mortal World directly.
He had essentially swallowed his own death sentence.
At this moment, the Deep Sea Demon Whale King’s enormous body was gradually losing control beneath the erosion of the Mortal World.
His consciousness had become increasingly manic, while his enormous body convulsed uncontrollably.
He rampaged through the surrounding ocean, smashing enormous chunks of rock apart with every movement.
The force of his struggles was so tremendous that even the undersea mountain where Godzilla had originally been hiding was destroyed.
“To actually eat something like this, you really must have a death wish!”
Godzilla’s voice could not be heard by the others, but his expression clearly carried mockery and disdain as he stared at the Deep Sea Demon Whale King’s disintegrating body.
The erosion of the Mortal World showed no sign of stopping.
The Demon Whale King’s agonized cries became increasingly shrill as his enormous body continued deteriorating.
He desperately tried to use seawater to wash the strange substance from his body.
It was completely useless.
Those seemingly harmless particles had already penetrated through his epidermis and entered his internal organs.
They were no longer merely clinging to his skin.
They were beginning to disintegrate the deepest foundations of his life.
Whale cries echoed through the ocean.
The enormous sound waves stirred the surrounding seawater and continued spreading outward.
Before long, the agonized cries had reached enormous distances, spreading through the surrounding sea like an alarm announcing the death of an ancient beast.
Godzilla, however, had no intention of continuing to watch.
He turned his attention toward the wound on the rear half of his body.
“A loss.”
His golden eyes narrowed slightly.
“What a huge loss!”
Godzilla was genuinely irritated.
He had actually lost thirty percent of his energy.
Thirty percent!
If his current evolutionary rank were higher, perhaps he could have utilized the Mortal World to repair his body and recover the lost energy.
Unfortunately, that was completely impossible for him right now.
He had no way to control the Mortal World.
The only thing he could do was open his enormous mouth and unleash his Atomic Breath.
The blue-white energy swept across the injured area, scorching the flesh around the wound and temporarily sealing the place where his energy was escaping.
Godzilla looked at the damaged area.
His expression became even darker.
He had not expected to lose so much energy simply because he allowed a whale to bite him.
Meanwhile, at the Coral Palace…
The Demon Empress, who had been confronting the Sea Princess, suddenly stopped.
The distant whale cry had reached her ears.
At first, she had assumed that her husband had successfully launched his attack.
But there was something terribly wrong with that sound.
It was not a triumphant roar.
It was filled with pain.
The Demon Empress immediately turned around and rushed toward the source.
However, the Sea Princess and the other mermaids quickly formed another ice wall before her, blocking the route.
The Demon Empress’s expression changed.
She was already extremely anxious.
Without the slightest hesitation, she raised her power and released another terrifying bolt of lightning.
The attack struck the ice wall with considerably greater force than her previous attacks.
The defensive formation trembled violently.
The Demon Empress did not wait to see the result.
She immediately surged forward, swimming desperately toward the direction of her husband’s cries.
Behind her, the other members of the Deep Sea Demon Whale clan finally realized that something had gone seriously wrong.
They immediately abandoned their original positions and followed the Demon Empress.
“Oh no!”
The Sea Princess’s pupils contracted sharply.
Her heart tightened as she suddenly realized what the Deep Sea Demon Whale King’s real target had been.
The Mermaid race possessed a secret escape route.
And if the Demon Whale King reached it first, the consequences would be disastrous.
“Quickly, pursue them!”
The Sea Princess immediately gave the order.
“Do not let them catch Li Ya and Li Jing!”
Every member of the Mermaid race knew the importance of Li Ya.
She carried the golden bloodline of the Mermaid race.
That bloodline was far too important to be lost.
The mermaids immediately followed the Sea Princess and rushed toward the escape route.
At the same time, the agonized cries of the Deep Sea Demon Whale King continued spreading through the surrounding ocean.
Far away, Lan Fozi was still intercepting the smaller Spirit Beasts that attempted to approach the battlefield.
The moment she heard that familiar voice coming from the direction of the enormous object where she had hidden Godzilla, her expression immediately changed.
“Is that Dad’s voice?”
Lan Fozi’s heart tightened.
“Didn’t he go to the Coral Palace?
Why is he here?”
An ominous feeling slowly emerged within her heart.
Then a terrifying possibility suddenly appeared in her mind.
“Could it be that Dad really ate the big guy?”
The thought frightened Lan Fozi.
She immediately abandoned the hunt.
Without even bothering to explain herself to the other members of the clan, she turned around and rushed into the deep sea, swimming desperately toward the source of the sound.
Because the cave was located relatively close to the outer edge of the battlefield, Lan Fozi, the Demon Empress, and the Sea Princess arrived at almost the same time.
The undersea mountain had already collapsed.
The destruction finally allowed the sisters who had been hiding inside to escape.
“Mom!”
Li Jing and Li Ya rushed out from the ruined cave.
The two sisters immediately saw the Sea Princess approaching and hurried toward her before tightly embracing their mother.
“Are you alright?”
The Sea Princess’s voice was filled with anxiety as she examined them.
Li Jing quickly shook her head.
“We’re fine, but…”
Her gaze shifted toward the enormous beast standing within the surrounding waters.
“It was him who saved us.”
“Big guy!”
Lan Fozi’s shocked voice suddenly rang out.
“Mom!”
The Demon Empress looked toward her daughter.
“Fozi, why are you here too?”
She was puzzled for only a moment before her attention immediately returned to the rampaging Deep Sea Demon Whale King.
Then her expression changed completely.
The Demon Whale King’s enormous body had almost completely disintegrated.
The strange red dust-like mist surrounding him continued devouring his flesh, spreading deeper into his body with every passing moment.
“What happened?”
Lan Fozi also hurriedly asked.
Her eyes remained fixed upon Godzilla.
Godzilla slowly turned around.
He deliberately exposed the rear half of his enormous body.
Lan Fozi stared.
Her expression immediately froze.
Godzilla’s tail was gone.
Not injured.
Not damaged.
Gone.
A layer of strange red dust-like mist still lingered around the enormous wound.
“This…”
Lan Fozi’s voice trembled.
“This was bitten by Dad?”
She stared at Godzilla in disbelief.
Godzilla slowly nodded.
Then his gaze shifted toward the Demon Empress.
She had already begun moving toward her husband’s position.
She wanted to inspect his condition herself.
Godzilla immediately reacted.
His enormous tail swung outward.
His gigantic claws moved with terrifying speed.
Before the Demon Empress could approach the red mist surrounding the Demon Whale King, Godzilla grabbed her and forcefully pulled her backward.
“What are you doing?!”
The Demon Empress roared furiously.
She struggled violently and swung her tail in an attempt to break free.
Godzilla’s grip remained firm.
He pulled her farther away from the red mist.
“Roar!”
The Demon Empress finally understood that Godzilla was not attacking her.
He was preventing her from approaching her husband.
But she still could not understand why.
The Sea Princess lightly coughed before trying to calm everyone down.
She looked toward Godzilla and carefully interpreted his meaning.
“It seems to be saying that your husband ate part of its tail, and that was what caused the situation to become like this.”
The Demon Empress froze.
Lan Fozi also became silent.
The Sea Princess continued studying Godzilla.
Then she suddenly understood something.
“Mind reading?”
Godzilla was momentarily taken aback.
A question immediately flashed through his mind.
The Sea Witch of Sea God Island seemed to be a member of the Mermaid race as well.
Yet he had never seen the Sea Witch display an ability like this.
The Sea Princess seemed to notice the confusion in his eyes.
She gave a faint apologetic smile before explaining.
“The mental force of our Mermaid race is unusually powerful, allowing us to sense fluctuations in the surrounding minds.”
“It isn’t intentional mind reading, nor am I deliberately peeking into your thoughts.”
“The Sea Witch is indeed a member of our race, but her mental force is considerably weaker than mine.”
She paused.
Her eyes remained fixed upon the enormous creature before her.
“It seems that you are the legendary Ocean Holy Beast.”
“The current Sea God of Sea God Island.”
Her voice carried a complicated mixture of surprise and caution.
“Is that correct?”
“Ocean Holy Beast?!”
Li Ya exclaimed from the side.
Her eyes widened as she looked toward Godzilla.
“The Sea God of Sea God Island?”
Li Jing also stared at him in astonishment.
She clearly had difficulty connecting the terrifying giant before her with the being worshipped by Sea God Island.
“The Sacred Beast that killed Poseidon ten thousand years ago?”
The surrounding mermaids immediately began whispering among themselves.
Every pair of eyes turned toward Godzilla.
Some were filled with fear.
Others were filled with awe.
Some simply looked confused.
After all, the legend of the Ocean Holy Beast had existed for thousands of years.
And now the legendary existence was standing directly before them.
“Then quickly ask the big guy what happened!”
Lan Fozi had no time to worry about Godzilla’s identity.
Her father was still struggling desperately in the distance.
That was all she cared about.
Godzilla sighed helplessly.
Since everyone wanted to know what had happened, he had no choice but to recount the events one by one through gestures and roars.
The Deep Sea Demon Whale King had attacked him.
He had bitten off part of Godzilla’s tail.

After hearing the entire explanation, the Sea Princess and her daughters did not celebrate.
They did not applaud.
Yet they could not help feeling an extremely complicated sense of karma.
The Deep Sea Demon Whale clan had spent countless years slaughtering other Spirit Beasts.
They had hunted without restraint.
They had destroyed ecosystems wherever they went.
And now their own clan leader had suffered because he had tried to devour something far more dangerous than himself.
It was difficult not to think that evil had finally received its own consequence.
Lan Fozi, however, could not share that feeling.
Her mind was in complete turmoil.
Her own father had attacked a friend she had come to know over the past month.
That alone had already been extremely difficult for her to accept.
She had never imagined that her father would actually bite the big guy.
And she had certainly never imagined that he would suffer such a terrifying backlash because of it.
Lan Fozi stared at her father.
Then she looked toward Godzilla.
Her emotions were so complicated that she could not even put them into words.
The Demon Empress was different.
She was still staring desperately at her husband’s deteriorating body.
Her voice trembled.
“Is there any hope for my husband?”
She swallowed hard, struggling to suppress the panic in her heart.
“No matter what our clan needs to do, please, Sacred Beast…”
Her voice gradually became choked with emotion.
“Please, Lord Sea God, save my husband!”
