Bo Saixi and Xiao Bai, who were approaching the isolated island, were struck by the terrifying sound wave, and their faces instantly turned as pale as paper.

It was a deafening roar that seemed capable of shattering the heavens and earth, as though it intended to penetrate directly into the depths of their Souls and rip them from their bodies.

Bo Saixi nearly lost her footing beneath the overwhelming pressure, while Xiao Bai fared even worse.Full novel: Douluo Dalu: Reincarnated As Godzilla — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

Her legs instinctively went weak, and her entire body rapidly transformed into the form of a Devil Spirit Great White Shark without her conscious permission.

The scales covering her body stood completely on end, and she shivered uncontrollably, displaying the instinctive biological reaction of a creature sensing the approach of its natural predator.

“He…

He has awakened?”

Xiao Bai trembled as she forced the words from her throat, her voice revealing a fear that she could no longer conceal.

She desperately tried to suppress the trembling of her body, but her efforts were completely useless.

The psychological shock she had suffered twenty thousand years ago had simply been far too profound.

Bo Saixi took a deep breath and desperately suppressed the fear churning within her heart before comforting Xiao Bai in the calmest voice she could manage.

“Don’t be afraid, Xiao Bai.

Try looking at it from another angle.

At least…

at least we didn’t disturb His sweet dreams, right?”

Although Bo Saixi deliberately made her voice sound relaxed, the hand tightly gripping her staff betrayed her true feelings.

The metallic surface of the staff shimmered beneath the sunlight, yet even the weapon trembled faintly because of the strength with which she was holding it.

Bo Saixi reached over and gently patted Xiao Bai’s shoulder before forcing herself to overcome the trepidation inside her and taking the first step toward the island.

On the other side of the island, Godzilla lay lazily in the central region, his enormous eyes half-closed as he peacefully savored the comfort of his long slumber.

He slowly stretched his limbs, while his enormous tail lightly swept across the rocks behind him and produced a deep, rumbling sound.

“Whew…

that was a comfortable sleep.”

Godzilla muttered to himself as his consciousness gradually became clearer, then began organizing the information inside his mind.

He was a Godzilla.

More precisely, he was a high-dimensional lifeform capable of continuously evolving, with the potential to ultimately reach a state where he could create the Universe with a single thought and extinguish all things with another.

Of course, that ultimate form was still unimaginably distant.

“Right now, I’m only at Level One.

I still have a very long way to go before completing nine evolutions.”

Godzilla shook his enormous head, seemingly somewhat dissatisfied with his current condition.

He was not particularly anxious, however.

After all, he had plenty of time.

His gaze soon landed upon the trident lying not far away, and his enormous brow immediately furrowed.

Thinking back to the variously colored rings that had appeared around the blue-haired man in his memories, Godzilla began connecting the scattered pieces of information.

“Spirit Rings…

the ocean…

and a trident.

Could it be that I’ve transmigrated into Douluo Continent?”

He paused briefly.

“And I even…

ate the Sea God?”

The thought made Godzilla remain silent for several seconds.

Eventually, he shook his enormous head.

The conclusion sounded absurd even to himself.

“Is the Sea God really that weak?

A single Atomic Breath charged to sixty percent was enough to kill him instantly?

That’s ridiculous, isn’t it?

He couldn’t even withstand a temperature of merely one hundred thousand degrees Celsius?”

Godzilla casually flicked his tail.

The resulting air current swept across the surrounding vegetation, causing the leaves and branches to rustle violently.

He curled his lips with a trace of disdain before continuing his muttering.

“With this kind of Atomic Breath, even if I maintain fifty percent of my energy reserves, I should still be able to fire two more shots.”

His golden eyes narrowed slightly.

“He really was weak as hell.”

Despite his mocking tone, a trace of caution quietly appeared within Godzilla’s eyes.

He understood that the dangers of this World were certainly not limited to a single Sea God.

If he wanted to grow safely, developing his strength quietly and avoiding unnecessary conflicts was undoubtedly the Righteous Path.

The Deep Sea Demon Whale King had supposedly accumulated cultivation equivalent to a million years simply through continuous growth and consumption.

If not for the Sea God’s arrangements that eventually led Tang San to kill him, combined with the Laws of the God Realm preventing Spirit Beasts from becoming gods, the Deep Sea Demon Whale King might have already become a god.

Godzilla’s eyes gradually brightened as another thought occurred to him.

“If I were the one who accumulated a million years of cultivation, why would I need to ascend to the God Realm?”

He slowly stretched his claws.

“I could simply manipulate gravity, cross the Void Realm with my Physical Body, and storm straight into the God Realm!”

The thought made him feel somewhat excited.

However, before he could continue imagining that future, Godzilla suddenly sensed an unfamiliar presence approaching.

“Hmm?”

Someone was coming.

His lazy expression instantly disappeared.

Godzilla straightened his enormous body, slowly rising from the ground as his mountain-like physique emerged from its relaxed posture.

He shook the scales covering his body.

The movement alone released an oppressive Aura that made the surrounding atmosphere seem considerably heavier.

“This place really is quite nice.”

Godzilla’s enormous golden eyes turned toward the approaching figures.

“I just woke up, and someone is already delivering energy straight to my doorstep.

This place really is a blessed land.”

He opened his mouth, revealing rows of terrifyingly sharp fangs.

A smile appeared across his monstrous face.

As Godzilla completely stood upright, the entire island seemed to tremble faintly beneath his enormous weight.

His tail casually swept sideways.

BOOM!

A massive boulder was struck head-on and shattered instantly, sending countless fragments flying outward with terrifying momentum.

Bo Saixi and Xiao Bai, who were still approaching from a distance, witnessed the entire scene clearly.

“It…

It has become stronger again?”

Xiao Bai’s heart was instantly thrown into turmoil.

The giant beast standing before her was now even more enormous than the one she remembered from twenty thousand years ago.

Its size had increased by nearly half.

Could this truly be the legendary Ocean Holy Beast?

Or perhaps…

Could it actually be the legendary Dragon God described in the ancient legends of the Spirit Beast race, the supreme existence capable of shaking the heavens and earth?

That thought flashed through Xiao Bai’s mind.

She instinctively took another step backward.

Just as her mind was trembling beneath the pressure, Godzilla’s enormous gaze slowly swept across the island before finally landing upon her.

A trace of thoughtful confusion appeared within his eyes.

“Hmm?”

Godzilla stared at Xiao Bai for several moments.

“This one beside her…

why does she feel familiar?”

He silently examined her appearance.

Xiao Bai wore clothing resembling a white bodysuit, while her long gray-blue hair flowed casually behind her back.

Even her eyes and skin possessed a faint gray-blue luster.

Then Godzilla suddenly remembered.

That’s right.

The last time he had awakened, this humanoid Spirit Beast had clearly been following Poseidon.

Before Godzilla could completely organize his memories, the red-robed woman standing beside Xiao Bai stepped forward.

She possessed long blue hair and a solemn expression.

The woman respectfully bowed toward the gigantic beast before her, forcing herself to maintain composure despite the overwhelming pressure radiating from its body.

“Great Ocean Holy Beast, I am Bo Saixi, the High Priestess of Sea God Island, and I hereby offer you my most sincere greetings.”

Immediately afterward, Xiao Bai hurriedly lowered her body as well.

Her voice carried obvious trepidation, but beneath that fear was profound respect.

“Island-Protecting Spirit Beast, Devil Spirit Great White Shark King Xiao Bai, on behalf of Sea God Island, offers you our most sincere apologies for the offense caused in the past.”

Godzilla’s eyes narrowed slightly.

Perhaps because of his recent evolution, he could now actually understand the language being spoken by the two women.

The realization caused his thoughts to become considerably clearer.

So that was it.

No wonder this shark had been following Poseidon back then.

But then another question emerged.

Hadn’t the Sea God died a long time ago?

If Poseidon was already dead, then how could Bo Saixi still be serving as the High Priestess of Sea God Island?

A trace of confusion appeared within Godzilla’s mind.

Bo Saixi, however, immediately noticed the subtle change in his eyes.

Her heart skipped a beat.

It understood her!

This terrifying existence could actually understand what she was saying!

The discovery immediately filled Bo Saixi with hope.

If this great existence possessed not only unfathomable strength but also extraordinary intelligence, then perhaps negotiating with it was actually possible.

Based on its intelligence alone, its cultivation should have surpassed one hundred thousand years.

Bo Saixi silently assessed Godzilla’s strength.

Twenty thousand years ago, this giant beast had been powerful enough to kill the Sea God, Poseidon.

And now, after another twenty thousand years of evolution, it was clearly even stronger.

Such an existence had very likely already surpassed the Deep Sea Demon Whale King.

Perhaps it was even far superior to him.

Could this truly be a top-tier Spirit Beast possessing legendary million-year cultivation?

The thought caused Bo Saixi’s mind to race.

She suddenly remembered something from her previous encounters with the Deep Sea Demon Whale King.

Whenever the terrifying whale had encountered the waters surrounding this island, it had often displayed an unmistakable trace of trepidation.

Yet despite that fear, it had never dared unleash its full strength in this region.

Perhaps…

The thing it feared had always been the mysterious Sacred Beast sleeping upon this island.

Bo Saixi’s thoughts surged violently as countless possibilities intertwined within her mind.

Yet one conclusion had already become certain.

She had made the right decision by coming here.

As long as this mysterious existence possessed intelligence and could communicate with them, there was still room for negotiation.

The only questions remaining were how she should negotiate…

And exactly how much bargaining power she possessed.

Godzilla slowly lowered his enormous head.

His mountain-like body towered over the two women as his golden vertical pupils moved between Bo Saixi and Xiao Bai.

He studied them in silence.

Neither woman dared move.

The entire island fell into an oppressive silence.

Then Godzilla’s gaze stopped on Bo Saixi.

For some reason, the woman standing before him gave him the strange feeling that she was connected to the blue-haired man he had devoured twenty thousand years ago.

His enormous head tilted slightly.

The first conversation between the Ocean Holy Beast and the High Priestess of Sea God Island was about to begin.
