The next week passed as usual. She was slowly, whenever the vibrating beetle was within her, pulling the yang from the bug in her neck. Fu Yilan could tell though, that Little Cao was growing into the role her master had set out for him. He wasn’t calling her “Lady” anymore, instead ordering her around. A growing part of her was worried about him, while the part that was her master’s slave liked this development. He was acting as he should, after all. Sexual relief was used as a reward for hard work by her master, though he was allowed to touch her as much as he wanted. That was why Fu Yilan had a hand groping her chest or under her dress poking into her slit quite regularly. It kept her horny throughout the day.

“Time to leave,” Master ordered. It seemed like he was done with the children he had strung up. He stowed his ritual utensils, then they left, walking down to the village. They didn’t take anything else. The next village unlucky enough to be chosen as their next hideout would have what they needed.

When everyone had gathered, both the bandits as well as the enslaved women, she watched as the rest of the town was burned down. Flames were licking at the sky, yet oddly enough no smoke was visible in the afternoon sky. Glancing over at her master, he was holding several talismans. They were probably the reason they hadn’t been found yet by her sect. She was sure that they were searching for them; after all, losing four disciples couldn’t happen without them taking notice.Full novel: Dragged Down Into Heaven — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

They spent three days on the road before finding a small fishing village near a small lake. Men were killed, women subdued, children taken by her master as they burned the outer houses down, fortifying it again. The weather was far too ice for the slaughter taking place, sun beating down onto the dead bodies, blood making the earth muddy.

Another week passed. Little Cao had formed his dantian, and her master had let him play with Fu Yilan for a whole day, using his newfound cultivator vigor to its fullest. While he was changing, following the path her master had set out for him, Fu Yilan was changing as well, but slowly peeling off the lessons drilled into her, combating the slave mindset. After all, she was no slave. She might be a woman, meant to be fucked, but no slave. She was a cultivator. Every little drop of yang energy from the trapping Needle Bug pushed her further to the fourth stage. She couldn’t really tell, stuck at the second stage as she was, but her gut feeling told her that she was close to breaking through.

After one more week, she was starting to pull the energy from the bug even while taking on a more active role while fucking. It was getting easier finding the elusive root and pulling out the yang energy. And as she was getting better, she noticed something very interesting. The Trapping Needle Bug wasn’t the only thing that had such a root attached to it. Whenever she was fucking someone, the Void Lotus Demoness art sent a root to them, attaching itself for the duration of the intercourse. When she tried it on the vibrating beetle, she was almost shocked how easily the yang energy was lured out of it. It was probably due to it being a weaker gu insect than the one in her neck.

Same with Little Cao. She was almost scared, trying it on a human, but she needed to find out. Despite her body still being under her master’s control, her mind was returning to herself. No. Not Master. Old Demon Yuan. Simply admitting that to herself drained her mentally, yet the feeling of relief when she managed to break free was immense. Little Cao was still inside her, pumping his hips happily. He had no idea that a sliver of his yang energy had just been taking by the woman he saw as his lesser.

Fu Yilan’s smile widened. She was scared to try it on her mast– on the Old Demon. She wasn’t sure it was worth it, risking it. She was unsure it would even work, him being at the eighth stage. Instead, she focused on the Trapping Needle Bug. She was making progress.

…

Fu Yilan let her tongue swish around her mouth. Semen residue was clinging to its insides, letting her tongue delight in its taste. Bowing down to eat a bowl of rice with some meat on the table in front of Little Cao, and Old Demon Yuan. Suddenly, the wall exploded inwards. Five cultivators rushed in, blades ready to strike at the demonic cultivator.

“Finally, we have found you. This is the price you’ll have to pay for killing four of our Shifting Grass sect’s disciples!”

Fu Yilan couldn’t believe her eyes. They had finally found them! Her sect’s robes were billowing around five old men, each at least in the eighth stage of the earth realm. She only recognized the old Pill Pavilion Master Zhou and the elder that read the founder’s words in the evening. One more old man however was even stronger, solidly within the ninth stage. Fu Yilan suspected that he was this branch’s sect leader. He wielded two flying blades, letting them weave around him like the swaying blades of grass that gave the sect its name.

The old Pavilion Master swung a war hammer with blinding speed at the Old Demon, who himself had jumped away from the table, trying to create distance. He flung out talismans while his centipede flashed out from under his robes and at one of the other elders. Two of them started fighting it, each with a sword of their own. Little Cao was cowering on the floor, while Fu Yilan pushed herself against the far wall. This was not a fight she had any business being a part of.

Flashes of light appeared as Old Demon Yuan used all his talismans. Simultaneously, a flood of bugs was coming from a door leading to the basement. It seemed like he had been doing more than just torturing the children. They didn’t survive for long though, because the sect elders had some talismans themselves. A wave of flame rolled over the insects, incinerating all of them, yet somehow flowing around the vulnerable Little Cao, and stopping just short of Fu Yilan.

The sect leader was battering into the Old Demon, blades putting on the pressure. He had pulled out a dagger, but the only reason he could survive this long was due to his talismans. The number was staggering. Fu Yilan was unsure how much wealth they were burning through with each activation. The old man screamed as his left arm was chopped off. Small bugs crawled out of it but were stomped dead by the sect leader.

“You made the search quite challenging but, in the end, evil has no place within our sect’s area.” He was slowly walking towards the wounded demonic cultivator, assured of his victory. Fu Yilan saw the look in the Old Demon’s eyes though. It was neither resignation nor defeat.

“I didn’t want to have to use these, but you leave me no choice. My strongest attack, Burning Heaven’s Demise!” Suddenly, a talisman flew out. Even to her muddled senses, she could tell that it held more energy than the others. Time seemed to slow as the yellow paper flew through the air, symbols written on it writhing with power that seemed out of this world.

“A heavenly realm attack?” The sect master shouted for the others, jumping back and activating a talisman. At the same time, his blades started spinning in front of him, creating a shield. Fu Yilan could only stare, captivated by what was happening before her. Cold sweat matted her neck. Would this kill her?

Before reaching the sect master and the elders that had retreated behind him, the talisman swerved and attached itself to Little Cao. Fu Yilan could see a mad grin on the Old Demon’s face. With a bright flash of energy, they were gone.

“Argh, that sneaky rat! To think he would be that evasive to the very end.” The sect master rushed over to the arm he had cut off. “Here, Elder Zeng. Try locating him quickly. Even with a heaven realm talisman, moving through space like that is limited. We must not lose him here! He took that child who was already at the first stage. Being able to form your dantian that young speaks of talent. We must bring him into our sect.”

Four of them, including the sect leader, rushed off. Only Pill Pavilion Master Zhou stayed behind. He walked over to Fu Yilan. “I remember you. Those little brats were calling you the Ice Flower. Now look at you. Made to serve an Old Demon like him. Truly a waste.” Taking a longer look at her, his fingers flashed forwards. Hair-thin needles stuck five points in her body. Then, before Fu Yilan could do anything else, her head was gripped tightly by the old man. A cool salve was rubbed onto the back of her neck that started heating up, until it was an unbearable burn. “This will hurt a bit,” he said, but Fu Yilan had already noticed.

Through the pain, she could feel a thin incision being made. Then it felt like hairs were being pulled through every single blood vessel of her body. Pain mixed with an unbearable itch wracked her body that had been paralyzed by the elder’s needles. It felt like he pulled for an hour, as if meters of hair needed to be removed. What he held in his hand in the end was the Trapping Needle Bug with countless hairs hanging off it that were only as long as her hand.

Tears started flowing down her cheeks. Tears of relief, of being free at last. She reached out to grab it, but Elder Zhou was putting it away into a pouch. She tried clawing at it, but her body felt incredibly weak. He pushed her away easily.

“Don’t worry, they become useless as soon as they are removed from their first host. But parts of it can be used for alchemic purposes.” His gaze roved over her body, appreciating the tight qipao that was highlighting her sexual appeal. There was something evaluating in his eyes, and oddly enough, she started getting wet.

Fu Yilan knew that she was no less because she was a woman in the logical side of her mind. She was aware, that she was selling her body for power, just like how mercenaries sold theirs. And yet, her heart did not agree. It was still captured by its master. Her body was to be used by men, their pleasure the most important part. She was to serve. So, when she was in front of a man several stages above her, body weakened by the procedure, she felt aroused. Her mind was against it, but her heart wanted her right there. She hoped she could escape the Old Demon’s grasp with time.

A slight buzzing sound came from between her legs as she got wet. Elder Zhou raised an eyebrow and crouched down. Fu Yilan’s hands were pushed aside as his fingers dug in, and she moaned slightly at the intrusion. The forceful nature of it turned her on more than she would like to admit. Pulling out the vibrating beetle, he inspected it for a few minutes before a chuckle turned into a full-blown laugh.

“He really kept you as a sex pet, huh?” Fu Yilan’s heart sank. Of course she wouldn’t be receiving any pity from him. Even before her abduction, he had been groping her, trying to get her to open her legs for him. Still, the sect was a hell where she could thrive, not the hellish prison that the Old Demon had locked her in. Still, she didn’t expect Elder Zhou to pull out two small vials with green powder and sprinkle them on the beetle. Then, he used a brush to draw a silver sigil she didn’t know the meaning of onto its back. It fused with the black plating, becoming a part of it. Finally, he pushed it back into her with a grin.

“Keep that in there. Now that I know what kind of girl you are, there is no longer a need for us to tiptoe around what we want any longer, am I right?” Fu Yilan could only stare dumbly at him. Was this real? Was this old dog already staking his claim? “I’m already looking forward to all the fun we’ll be having when we’re back.” The last thing she saw was the tip of a needle heading for her forehead, accompanied by a quiet chuckle.
