Three hours later, she was cursing the mission hall supervisor using words the priests at the temple that had fed her when she was younger would have slapped her into the ground for. All with sweet smiles on their faces. But Fu Yilan couldn’t help it. She had been searching and not found a single one. This was a failure on a level inacceptable to her. The easiest mission, failed? And it wasn’t only her personal feelings of not wanting to throw in the towel this early. Failing to complete a mission after accepting it was followed by serious disciplinary action.
But what could she do? They were supposed to grow on rocky outcroppings, and yet, all that she had climbed up onto had been empty. She wanted to pull at her hair, ripping it out in clumps. But she calmed herself. The only option she saw was to ask for help. That, however, brought its own set of complications with it, because who was she to ask? None of the other female disciples seemed to be on her side. Even chubby Sister Gao had been ignoring her, just to stay in the Senior Sister’s good graces.
During her short time at the sect, she had barely talked to anyone. She didn’t feel comfortable getting closer to the male disciples, though she noticed the glances they threw her way. Who knew what they’d do to her. They were male, after all. That only left the disgusting Senior Brother Xu.
Fu Yilan took a deep breath. She knew that he would tell her if she asked, but that information would surely have a price, to be paid with her body. She let her long, silky hair, tied up in a ponytail, flutter in the wind as she stared at the sea of clouds separating the top of the mountain from below. Below, where the mortals, the workers, the peasants, the beggars lived. Where she had once lived. If that could even be considered living. Robes that were in one piece, made of cloth than she had ever felt, despite being only a simple third-class disciple’s robe fluttered along as well. Fu Yilan had to admit that she didn’t want to go back down there. The thought of being weak again, barely managing to survive each day, sent spikes of fear into her heart.
She reached behind her head and pulled the string loose that had kept her hair tight. Hair fell like water, cascading past her shoulders and framing her face in a cute way. Then she reached under her robes and pulled out the wrap binding her chest. She had realized, that being down there was worse than being up here. Up here, above the clouds, her suffering would push her forward, letting her advance. Yet down in the mud, it would only serve to set her further behind, draining strength, weakening her. She watched the cloth strips that had bound her chest float of in the wind, falling down the mountain. It had been a part of her for so long, it felt odd being able to breathe freely again.
Fu Yilan tightened her waist band. It had previously hung loose, letting the size of her robes obscure her body. While her feelings had not yet aligned with her decision, her mind was made up. It felt wrong, showing off her body like she did at the moment, but the men around her desired it, and so she would make use of that fact.
Her chest jiggled with every step, no longer tightly bound. It felt weird and very inconvenient, but she would have to deal with it. Fu Yilan worried, that her Void Lotus Demoness art would make them even larger, but she would deal that problem when it got to that point.
Fu Yilan made her way back to the sect and did her best to walk upright, with a bit of elegance, despite her exhaustion. Some disciples were walking around normally, but she kept on seeing people move around more smoothly and quicker than should be humanly possible, traversing the terrain with inhuman efficiency. Walls were barely a boundary. Fu Yilan could only imagine how much easier her day in the mountains would have been with a movement art.
The library was of similar size to the Scripture Pavilion, filled with mundane books and a mortal librarian who was walking around, dusting everything off. Apparently, it wasn’t seen as important enough to necessitate a cultivator standing guard. He bowed when he saw her robes, deferential despite her only being at the first stage of the earth realm. That was the difference between regular, mortal men, and those cultivating immortality.
Fu Yilan walked through the shelves, letting her eyes move over several books. They were more tightly packed than in the scripture pavilion, and she wasn’t sure where the books she was looking for were located. It took ten minutes of systematic searching before she found what she had been looking for.
“Bedchambers and beyond”, “How to please a young master”, “The 109 pleasure essentials” and “To enchant the simpler sex” were all packed into the still empty bag she had originally taken for the Horned Spikewort. With slightly rosy cheeks, quicker steps, and a forced air of casualness, Fu Yilan took the four books on seduction to her room. She had made the decision to try and embrace pleasure arts, yet she had no idea how to actually pleasure someone.
Within the confines of her personal four walls, she read through the books, each one more scandalous than the last. They described different ways to draw the gaze of men and slowly reel them in, while making it seem like it had been their doing all along. Fu Yilan had been unaware how much power lay in a woman’s gaze and fluttering eyelids. She read about how to please men in bed, one book even having illustrations of positions and pleasure techniques, both for the mouth as well as below. Several times, she threw the book in the corner out of embarrassment. But after calming down, she picked it back up and kept on reading. It was her way forward, after all.
The next morning after breakfast, Fu Yilan went back to the Mission Hall. Her hair was loose, flowing down her back. It was inconvenient, having to push stray strands out of her face all the time, but it was what her books demanded. When Senior Sister Yang saw her new look, she glowered at her, hatred shooting from her eyes like daggers. Fu Yilan smiled. She had wanted her to act like this, now she would have to live with being outshone.
Senior Brother Xu was sitting behind the counter and sat up a little bit straighter when Fu Yilan walked in, hips swaying slightly. It was essential, she had learned, to only do so up to a degree that didn’t seem forced; a sway that seemed slightly exaggerated yet still natural was best to draw eyes and speed up hearts.
Another disciple, a man about her age with a face that looked like a square, had just gotten his mission and almost tripped when she walked past him. She was still wearing a regular third-class disciple’s uniform, but the way it hugged her figure was enchanting, accentuating the slim waist in combination with the wide hips and bountiful chest.
Fu Yilan walked up to Senior Brother Xu and tugged at his arm, pouting cutely. She hated herself for how she was acting, and for the words that were about to leave her mouth. But she was already this far, so giving up was not an option.
“Daddy Xu, I’m having problems with the mission. I spent all day looking for the plant, but your Fu Yilan can’t find it.” She opened her eyes a bit wider, looking as vulnerable and in need of help as possible. Her heart was hammering in her chest. Was she doing this properly? She didn’t know. Only one option, and that was to push ahead. “Can you maybe help me? Please?” Pushing the helpless, clueless beauty card to the extreme, Senior Brother Xu caved.
“Should have known you couldn’t do it.” He sighed, as if he had seen it coming all along. Fu Yilan wanted to slap the tired smile he’d put on back in his face but kept calm. “Women are only good for one thing, and that is keeping dicks warm.”
“Maybe– maybe you’re right…” she admitted, voice small. Shame was burning on her face, but she needed those merit points.
“Did you look below the clouds? Probably not, huh? It should be obvious that a regular plant like that wouldn’t survive in the higher qi environment up here, pushed aside by. Other plants. That’s why we should go back to only accepting men into this sect.” Fu Yilan almost rolled her eyes. She had been so focused on scouring the top of the mountain that she had neglected to go further down. But how should she have known? In the book where the details about the plant had been described, it said you could find it high in the mountains on rocky outcroppings.
“Thank you so much Daddy Xu!” she exclaimed, bouncing up and down to let her chest jiggle. Her books had said that men enjoyed it, and judging by how Senior Xu’s eyes strayed downwards, he was no exception. Grabbing one of her hands, he pulled her into his lap.
“What’s gotten into you? Suddenly so cooperative.” Fu Yilan looked down at her lap, feeling the hand of the man she despised on her thigh. She smiled, a shy and slightly embarrassed kind of smile that would tug at any man’s heartstrings.
“I –“ she started but paused, fiddling with her sleeve. She had expected the question, but her change of heart needed to be conveyed believably. “I think the pleasure arts you gave me suit me better than I’d thought in the beginning. It hurt the first time, but the second time you poured your yang energy into me, it felt way better.” A quick, earnest look into his eyes to underline how serious she meant it, then eyes back on her lap. “And when I was looking for those weird plants– I don’t think it’s what I was meant for. Maybe you’re right with a woman’s purpose lying elsewhere.” Fu Yilan paused. She hoped that her act had been good enough, that he believed her.
It turned out that she had nothing to worry about. One hand undid her waist band and slipped between her legs, while the other was squeezing her breast. It sent shivers down her spine, but this was what she had hoped for. Fu Yilan let little moans escape her lips writhing in the larger man’s grip. She hoped no disciple would walk in and see her being groped in public.
“Please, not here,” she breathed, voice husky.
“Fuck, this body truly is a gift of the heavens. I’ll train you into a magnificent cumdump, just you wait. And I don’t feel like getting up today, so under the counter you go!” Fu Yilan didn’t have a choice as she slid from his lap and onto the ground below his legs. She had read about blowjobs, but that was the extent of her knowledge. Pulling out his dick, Fu Yilan started by stroking it gently. This grotesque thing was to go into her? It felt almost impossible, had it not done so twice already.
“Kiss it, love it,” Senior Xu murmured his instructions down at her. She planted a wet kiss on the tip before licking it. The smell was atrocious, but she pushed down her disgust. She would have to get used to it. Now that she was dealing with it up close though, there was no way it would all fit into her mouth. Her Senior was of a different opinion. Grabbing her head with both hands, his iron grip slowly pushed his member deeper and deeper. He went past her tongue and invaded her throat. His pleased sigh let Fu Yilan know, that at least one of them was enjoying this.
She tried to move, but he was holding her head down, going further and further. He only stopped when her nose touched his pubes, and she looked up at him, watery-eyed. Probably due to the Void Lotus Demoness body formation art, a lot of the pain described in the books was non-existent, along with her gag reflex. Her body was slowly being turned into one made for sex. It would suit her just fine.
If her face hadn’t been stuffed with erect meat, she would have smirked as the Void Lotus Demoness art started drinking in the yang that was being released into her mouth. Fu Yilan could see before her mind’s eye, how the Lotus roots, belonging to her Moonlit Infinite Ripples art’s flower, drank up the energy. There was less yin energy, because she wasn’t particularly enjoying giving head, but she was still a participant, so some was being produced. It flowed into refining her body, as well as strengthening her qi. It felt good, getting stronger.
