In the summer of 20XX, a certain system attempted to traverse into World D95, only to encounter a spatial turbulence.

As a result, an otaku who had been on his way to collect rent with his keys in hand was accidentally killed by the crossing process.

To avoid leaving a bad record in World D95, the system privately reached a settlement with the deceased otaku and compensated him.Full novel: Dragon Ball: A Saiyan’s Culinary Odyssey Through the Multiverse — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

The otaku had a complete family, a house, and even rental income—but he was never truly happy.

As a child, his parents devoted themselves entirely to work.

By the time he grew up, all they left him was a cold, empty house… and a monthly rent-collecting routine.

He lacked affection.

All of his parents’ love had gone to his younger brother.

With little attachment to the real world, when offered the choice of revival, he chose instead to go to a lower-dimensional anime world—to search for the “waifus” he once cherished.

The system agreed.

But when it came to choosing a form of reincarnation—one that could adapt to various worlds—he selected a being from the Dragon Ball universe: Broly, a pure stat monster with terrifying physical strength and growth potential.

And so, the soul reincarnation began…

The system brought his soul into the Dragon Ball world.

However, when placing his soul into Broly’s mother’s womb, the system—too focused on developing a “harem system”—forgot to add proper protection to the soul.

Half a year later, when the system was finally complete, the otaku’s soul had already been absorbed and restructured by the powerful mutated Saiyan embryo.

Although it was still his soul, its structure had fundamentally changed.

He was no longer the same person—he had truly been reborn.

After forcibly embedding the completed “Harem System” into the new soul, the system, feeling guilty, hastily left behind a promise of future compensation… and fled the Dragon Ball world.

Time passed.

Age 732.

That year, the wrongly reincarnated Broly was born—and his mother died.

Due to his overwhelming potential, he was sent by King Vegeta to Planet Vampa.

Paragus followed him there, but their ship was destroyed, leaving father and son stranded on the harsh planet.

Time flew again.

Age 737.

Saiyans scattered across the universe were suddenly recalled to Planet Vegeta.

Just as Bardock sensed something was wrong and secretly sent his low-power son (power level: 2) to Earth…

On Planet Vampa, a hunt for food was underway.

Under a cloudless sky, a figure wearing a spider shell descended like a meteor, smashing through the ceiling of a cavern that housed a Vampa spider nest.

Rustling sounds echoed as countless spiders crawled out, glaring at the intruder.

“I’m here to trade for food again.

This is Baya blood—two eggs in exchange.

I’ll leave the blood here… and take the eggs myself.”

The child said casually, grabbing two massive spider eggs—each larger than himself—and bolting out of the cave.

Outside, countless spiders had already emerged.

The smaller ones had power levels around 2,000, while the larger ones reached 3,000.

At the back stood a gigantic spider, as large as a hill, with pitch-black armor—its leader, with a power level of over 5,000.

The moment it saw Broly, its eyes turned blood-red as it charged after him.

But Broly was already used to being chased.

With a casual motion, he fired three energy blasts into the ground below, kicking up a massive cloud of dust.

He then dove into the smoke, lowering his altitude.

The giant spider thundered past overhead with its swarm.

Due to its limited vision, it failed to notice Broly hiding below in a fissure.

After the noise faded, Broly flew out, carrying the eggs, and escaped in the opposite direction.

He had lived on Planet Vampa for five years—and eaten those spiders for five years.

Compared to adult spiders, whose flesh was bitter, the eggs were much more palatable—especially the fresher ones.

Though not very intelligent, the spiders fiercely protected their eggs.

Stealing them was far more dangerous than hunting individual spiders.

But with growing strength and experience, Broly had mastered the process.

His smoke-screen escape tactic never failed.

The only regret?

He still hadn’t figured out how to domesticate them.

Back at his cave, Broly stored the eggs among containers made from spider shells, filled with rare rainwater collected during storms.

After drinking a few gulps of the murky liquid, he prepared to cook.

There was no vegetation on Vampa—no fire.

Only geothermal heat.

Using a stone slab as a makeshift grill, he got ready to cook the eggs.

Just then—

A message appeared in his mind:

[Harem System fully charged.

Initiate world travel?]

“?”

Since birth, strange information had always appeared in his mind.

“What is a Harem System?”

“It is a compensation module designed to help you reclaim your ‘wives’ across different worlds.”

“Who is that?”

“You.”

“What is a wife?”

“A partner.”

“…Can I eat it?”

After a brief pause, the system replied:

“Yes.

And they will also feed you.”

Broly immediately equated “wife” with “food.”

Decision made.

“No wasting energy.

I’ll travel now.”

[Coordinates locked.

World selected.

Initiating transfer…]

Boom.

The stone slab fell.

And Broly vanished.
