West City, Capsule Corporation.

Bulma stretched out both hands and called out loudly, “Come forth, Shenron, and grant my wish!”

The seven Dragon Balls suddenly blazed with golden light, black clouds swallowed the sky, and the green Shenron coiled its way up into the heavens.Full novel: Dragon Ball: But I Get Stronger by Taking Girls to Bed — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

“You who have gathered the seven Dragon Balls, speak your wish. I shall grant any one desire.”

Bulma looked up at Shenron, clasped her hands together, and said reverently, “Shenron, I want a boyfriend. He has to be more handsome than Yamcha, stronger than Son Goku, ideally the same age as me, and about 180 centimeters tall. And his personality needs to be good too — no cheating…”

A bead of awkward sweat formed on Shenron’s brow.

“These conditions are far too demanding. There may not be a single person like that in the whole world. I’ll try, though…”

This was the first time anyone had seen Shenron look troubled.

Of course, Bulma knew she was pushing it a bit too.

She stuck out her tongue playfully and pleaded, “Yeah, it’s a bit much. But please, Shenron?”

Shenron unleashed his divine power, searching throughout the universe under his dominion, but after a long while he still hadn’t found anyone who met Bulma’s conditions.

Bulma felt like she was being roasted over a fire, waiting anxiously.

“Perhaps you could loosen the conditions a little…”

Shenron looked at Bulma.

Bulma thought it over.

“Well, handsome is non-negotiable. And strength is a must too. So I guess the only thing I could loosen is…”

She thought of Yamcha, hopelessly bewitched by some underclassman flirting with him, and quickly shook her head.

“No, cheating is absolutely off the table…”

More sweat beaded on Shenron’s forehead.

After all that deliberation, her standards hadn’t budged an inch.

Picky older single women really were hard to please.

Suddenly, a flash of golden light, and a sleeping figure appeared lying on the grass in front of Bulma.

Bulma looked down.

Glossy black hair, sharp brows angled like blades, thin lips pressed together, a sharply defined jaw, a tall lean build without a hint of coarseness…

And he was wearing nothing but a pair of shorts, his bare, chiseled abs practically demanding attention.

The sudden appearance of such a perfect man made Bulma’s eyes light up.

“Wow, what a handsome guy! Getting such a perfect boyfriend was way easier than I thought! Ha, I really hit the jackpot!”

Even Shenron was startled by the sudden appearance of this man.

Bulma looked up gratefully.

“Thank you so much, Shenron. I’m really happy with this wish…”

Shenron looked a little awkward as he explained, “No, you’ve misunderstood. This man wasn’t granted by your wish. He came here on his own…”

But Bulma had already crouched down to admire her future boyfriend and hadn’t heard a word Shenron said.

Her eyes sparkled with infatuation as she practically drooled, “This is amazing, so handsome, such a great build, absolutely perfect. Even asleep, he already beats that guy Yamcha by a mile…”

Just then, Shenron spoke up again.

“Excuse me, Miss Bulma, are you listening?”

Bulma looked up, wiped away a bit of drool, and asked, “Shenron, what did you just say?”

Shenron said, “He isn’t the result of your wish. He simply appeared here on his own. It has nothing to do with me.”

Bulma froze.

“What? You’re saying he just showed up here by himself?”

Shenron nodded.

“Yes. I used my divine power, but I never found anyone who matched your conditions.”

Bulma looked baffled.

“So that’s how it is. Then where did he come from?”

Suddenly, Bulma said, “I know! It must be fate — the heavens arranged this for me!”

Shenron: “…”

Bulma looked at the man lying on the ground, swallowed hard twice, and turned to Shenron.

“Shenron, either way, my wish came true. You can go now.”

Shenron nodded.

“Well then, farewell!”

With that, Shenron dissolved into golden light and shot back into the Dragon Balls, which scattered in all directions.

The dark clouds receded, and the sky brightened.

The man on the ground rubbed his eyes groggily.

“What’s that noise… so loud…”

He thought he’d forgotten to turn off his phone before falling asleep the night before, and he patted around blindly, searching for it.

Instead, his hand landed on something soft.

Oryon froze — it felt like a girl’s hand, but it was yanked away in an instant.

Bulma’s voice, brimming with anticipation, rang out beside his ear.

“You’re awake!”

The man’s eyes snapped open.

A girl with bright, sparkling eyes was staring right at him, her hand seemingly just pulled back.

Her deep blue eyes were mere inches away, her lashes trembling slightly, her red lips parted, her cheeks flushed.

Her blue hair was tied up in a high ponytail swishing behind her, and she wore a pink camisole; the way she leaned forward let her full, pale curves peek in and out of view.

The man said, startled, “Who are you…?” then glanced around and asked, “Where am I?”

Bulma’s face immediately took on a lovestruck look as she eagerly introduced herself.

“Hi there, this is Capsule Corporation, my home. My name is Bulma, I’m nineteen this year, and I’m your girlfriend.”

A storm of shock crashed through the man’s mind.

“Bulma?”

“Mm-hm!”

Oryon glanced at Bulma, silently skeptical.

‘That figure — all slim branches and ripe fruit — and she’s saying nineteen?

Who’s she kidding?

That body’s at least twenty-five!

Wait, that face — isn’t this Bulma from Dragon Ball?

What’s going on?

Did I die suddenly in my sleep and get transmigrated?

That doesn’t add up.

I don’t compete, I don’t grind myself into the ground, no overtime, no overthinking, no staying up late, I eat on schedule…

How could I just suddenly drop dead and get transmigrated?’

The man’s name was Oryon, a native of Blue Star and a die-hard comic fan.

He’d read countless comics since childhood, but compared to Naruto with its Will of Fire running rampant, or One Piece with its bloodline powers…

He loved Dragon Ball best of all — simple, pure, full of fighting spirit.

His only regret was that the Dragon Ball he loved wasn’t a harem series.

He glanced down at himself — still his own body.

So he’d actually transmigrated into the Dragon Ball world, keeping his own body?

Transmigrating into the Dragon Ball world with your own weak body?

How fragile could a person be?

Before he could make sense of the situation, Bulma started explaining on her own.

“I’m really sorry for suddenly pulling you here! I wished on Shenron for a boyfriend, and that’s how you ended up appearing at my house.”

Oryon’s pupils narrowed.

“Shenron? Can Shenron even grant a wish like that?”

As a Dragon Ball fan, he knew all about the many limitations on that plot-device dragon — the Dragon Balls definitely couldn’t pull someone across the dimensional wall.

Bulma thought about it — he really hadn’t been brought by Shenron — so she had to come clean.

“Oh wait, no, I misspoke. It wasn’t Shenron who brought you here. It was fate — the heavens arranged for you to be my boyfriend…”

As she spoke, Bulma cupped her chin and eyed Oryon with a leering gaze.

It was as though she were inspecting a pet of hers, utterly shameless, the corner of her mouth curling up like she wanted to devour him whole right then and there.

Bulma asked, “Oh right, I told you my name already — what’s yours?”

“Oryon!”

“Oryon, huh? What a nice name…”

Oryon looked at Bulma’s lovestruck expression and started weighing his options.

Transmigrating into the Dragon Ball world and marrying Bulma wasn’t a bad choice at all.

But settling for a comfortable life just by latching onto a rich woman would be shortsighted.

The people of the Dragon Ball world were far too simple.

Without exaggeration, any native of Blue Star who arrived here could become a filthy-rich tycoon in minutes, spending money like water, the moment they gained star-busting power.

Besides, if he could shatter a planet with one punch, why settle for marrying just one woman?

Heh, the people of the Dragon Ball world really were too conservative.

Sure, he’d transmigrated in with his own body, but even the Earthling Krillin had a power level in the tens of thousands.

If he put in a bit of effort, he wouldn’t even need to take any risks to scrape together a few hundred power level — that alone would make him a cut above among Earthlings.

Oryon looked Bulma over — her looks, her figure, both excellent.

And most precious of all, she even had a rare, one-in-a-million interesting soul.

But Oryon knew she hated cheaters, which was exactly why things never worked out with Yamcha.

So Oryon quickly figured out the reason — there was no way he’d give up the whole forest just for one tree.
