Raditz was taken aback for a moment, then laughed.

“I don’t remember who you are, kid, but it seems you still carry some childhood memories of being a Saiyan!”

The others noticed the tail behind Oryon and realized he was a Saiyan too — their hearts instantly clenched with worry.Full novel: Dragon Ball: But I Get Stronger by Taking Girls to Bed — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

Only when Oryon declared his stance, siding with Earth, did everyone finally breathe a sigh of relief.

But who exactly was Frieza?

That didn’t matter for now — nobody had time to ask such details.

Hearing that Oryon had also refused to join Raditz, Goku immediately roared at him, “Did you hear that? Neither of us will join you. Get out of here now!”

Raditz cracked his wrist and laughed.

“Since neither of you will listen, I suppose I’ll have to teach you both a little lesson…”

Oryon hurried to Goku’s side, standing with him to face Raditz.

“Bulma, Lunch — both of you get back, far away…”

Bulma and Lunch both nodded, then immediately retreated dozens of meters with the others.

A two-against-one standoff took shape, and the air turned instantly cold and sharp.

Oryon knew perfectly well he was just there for show, but the arrow was already nocked — there was no backing out now.

“Let’s go!”

Goku and Oryon exchanged a glance, then charged at Raditz together.

But Raditz’s figure flickered — an elbow slammed into Oryon’s stomach, followed by a backhanded knee driving into Goku’s gut.

None of the onlookers could even follow the movements.

By the time Raditz’s silhouette came back into focus, Oryon and Goku were both lying on the ground, clutching their stomachs in agony.

“Ugh, ahh…”

Everyone watching broke into a cold sweat.

“Goku…” Krillin, ignoring the danger, rushed recklessly to Goku’s side to check on him.

Lunch gasped in shock, “You bastard, how dare you hurt my boyfriend!” She whipped out her machine gun and unloaded a burst straight at Raditz.

But Raditz didn’t even flinch — the bullets bounced off him one after another.

“Hmph, what a feeble race. You call this a weapon? Since you’re a woman, I’ll spare your life this time!” He turned his gaze back to Son Goku.

Lunch flung the machine gun aside and crouched down to check on Oryon’s injuries.

“A-are you all right…?”

Oryon, still clutching his stomach and trying to ease the pain, had no strength left to answer her.

Seeing the two of them lose all ability to resist in an instant, Raditz shook his head, unimpressed.

“Saiyans raised on some low-class planet really are pathetically weak! I’m taking your son, Kakarot…”

With that, his figure flickered, and he snatched Gohan right out of Chi-Chi’s arms.

“Gohan!”

Chi-Chi, forgetting all danger, thought only of saving Gohan and lunged forward — only for Raditz to slap her away, sending her crashing to the ground.

“Chi-Chi…” Master Roshi hurried over to check on her.

Chi-Chi reached out a hand, pleading, “My Gohan, my Gohan…”

Raditz shook his head again.

“What a fragile race indeed… Kakarot, I’ll be keeping your child safe for now. Once you two have thought things through, come find me.”

“Don’t worry — for the sake of our being brothers, I’ll give you a day to consider.”

“But simply joining us won’t be enough. To conquer planets, anyone soft-hearted will only ruin the mission.”

“The method is simple enough — once you’ve made up your minds, kill a hundred Earthlings each and come find me, and I’ll take you in!”

He glanced at Gohan and said, “He may only be a half-blood, but he’s still a descendant of us Saiyans after all. If you don’t want this child to die, come find me tomorrow!”

With that, Raditz took off into the sky, carrying Gohan.

“Farewell — I look forward to tomorrow, hahahaha…”

Raditz let out another burst of laughter and flew off without a backward glance.

Not long after, both Goku and Oryon managed to stand up.

Master Roshi’s expression turned grave.

“That guy is far too strong. He knocked Goku down with a single move — this is really troublesome…”

Lunch and Bulma both helped support Oryon, and Bulma asked with concern, “How are you feeling?”

Oryon clenched his fists.

He’d already braced himself to take a beating, but now that he’d actually gone down, it still stung his pride.

“Damn it… I really am useless.”

Lunch quickly consoled him, “Darling, I won’t let you talk about yourself like that! In a situation like that, just standing with us already took real courage.”

“Besides, even Goku got knocked down in one move — there’s no shame in you going down too.”

The others all nodded in agreement.

Master Roshi added, “That’s right. You’re a Saiyan yourself, yet in a moment like that, you chose to stand with us on Earth’s side — that alone was impressive!”

Oryon turned to look at Master Roshi and asked, “Master Roshi, could you train me?”

Master Roshi looked Oryon over, sensing his energy, and asked curiously, “Are you kidding me? What could I possibly teach you?”

Just then, Lunch leveled her gun at Master Roshi.

“If you dare refuse him, I’ll shoot!” This chapter is updated first at g.com.

Master Roshi immediately caved.

“I agree, I agree!”

Lunch lowered the gun.

“That’s more like it.”

Still, Master Roshi sighed again, “But that man took Goku’s child — shouldn’t we figure out how to get through this crisis first?”

“Goku, please go save Gohan…”

Chi-Chi clutched at Goku’s sleeve, her face etched with anguish.

Goku nodded and reassured her, “Don’t worry, Chi-Chi. I’ll definitely beat him and bring Gohan back!”

With that, Goku shouted, “Flying Nimbus!”

He was about to leave right then.

But Krillin and Master Roshi hurried to stop him.

“No, don’t!”

“Goku, you can’t go like this — it’s too reckless!”

Krillin said, “That’s right, Goku. He’s far too strong — you’re no match for him on your own. Going like this is basically suicide!!”

Goku said, “I’ve figured out his weakness!”

“What weakness?”

“His tail. If I grab hold of his tail, he’ll lose all his strength.”

Master Roshi frowned.

“That could work in theory, but can you actually catch his tail?”

Goku looked at Oryon and said, “I can’t do it alone, but with you helping, it should work!”

Oryon pointed at himself.

“Me too?”

“That’s right. I can sense it — your energy is strong too. You should be able to help…”

Oryon spread his hands, “I can help, but don’t blame me if I mess it up — after all, I haven’t trained in years…”

Everyone’s expressions instantly darkened.

No one had ever even heard of this Oryon before — chances were he simply wasn’t strong enough.

Master Roshi frowned, “This is going to be a problem…”

Suddenly, Oryon spoke up, “Don’t look so discouraged. Actually, there’s someone else who could help!”

Everyone turned to look at Oryon.

“Who?”

Oryon said, enunciating each word clearly, “Piccolo!”
