Goku was absent from the wedding.

It was one of the few regrets surrounding the ceremony.

Eager to continue his training, he had already departed for the Lookout before the wedding took place.Full novel: Dragon Ball: Infinite Evolution System — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

After celebrating with their families and friends, Alvin and Lazuli returned to their new home.

It was the house both families had gifted them after they began their life together.

The residence was a three-story villa surrounded by an expansive lawn and beautifully landscaped gardens.

In short…

It was exactly the kind of extravagant mansion only the obscenely wealthy would own—the sort of place where luxury took priority over practicality.

Lying in bed afterward, Alvin wrapped an arm around Lazuli’s smooth shoulder as his thoughts drifted.

“Honestly…

we’ll probably hardly ever come back here.”

“We should’ve just built the whole house as a Capsule Corporation capsule.”

…

Over the past four months, Alvin had been so busy that he barely found time to train.

As a result, his strength had only increased slightly.

Alvin rubbed his forehead.

“From now on, opponents with Power Levels below eighty are useless to me.”

“I won’t gain any Power Level from defeating them anymore.”

It was becoming a real problem.

There simply weren’t many powerful martial artists left on Earth.

His growth had slowed dramatically.

At this point, only Goku and the rest of the group could still help him improve.

“Looks like I’ll have to ask my buddies for another round of sparring.”

“Otherwise, if I head to the Lookout with only four hundred Power Level…”

“Goku’s going to beat me into the ground.”

Four months earlier, thanks to Alvin’s guidance, Goku had fully awakened the power of the Ultra Divine Water and raised his Power Level to around 350.

Since then, Goku had been training on the Lookout ahead of schedule.

There was no doubt he’d become even stronger than he had in the original timeline.

If Alvin went now…

He was almost certain he’d end up on the receiving end of a brutal beating.

…

Having made up his mind, Alvin got up early the next morning and gathered everyone together.

“The dojo’s finally finished.”

“It’s still empty, so how about we christen it with a few matches?”

“The tournament arena was built with the strongest composite materials available.”

“It’s a full one hundred meters long and one hundred meters wide.”

“That should be more than enough room for everyone to fight.”

He paused before adding,

“My younger brother and sister are there too.

Their school is on break.”

“I’m leaving for the Lookout soon, so I won’t have much time.”

“I was hoping everyone could help train them.”

After speaking, Alvin looked at the group expectantly.

Krillin had been ready to refuse.

Getting beaten up wasn’t exactly his favorite pastime.

But the instant he heard Alvin’s little sister would be there…

He immediately changed his mind.

“Count me in.”

His expression became perfectly serious.

Of course…

It had nothing to do with Alvin’s sister. Enjoying the story? Read on at novelping.com.

He simply loved guiding young martial artists.

That was all.

…

Bulma, having already seen through Yamcha’s incurable flirtatious nature, had broken up with him well before this.

The heartbroken Yamcha was still feeling miserable.

A good fight sounded like the perfect way to vent his frustration.

“I’m in.”

Tien also agreed.

He wanted to see just how wide the gap between himself and Alvin had become.

As always, Chiaotzu simply followed Tien’s decision.

“You people…”

“All you ever think about is fighting.”

A clear voice came from upstairs.

“And this time…”

“I’m joining too.”

Everyone turned toward the staircase.

Lazuli descended gracefully, dressed in a combat outfit she had designed herself.

She wore durable combat trousers, a fitted short-sleeved T-shirt, and a stylish denim jacket.

The outfit was simple…

Yet it suited her perfectly.

“So cool!”

Bulma’s eyes sparkled.

She rushed over and immediately wrapped herself around Lazuli in excitement.

“Lazuli looks amazing!”

Alvin chuckled.

“Don’t underestimate her.”

“She’s a lot stronger than she looks.”

“If you’re careless…”

“You might be the ones taking a beating.”

As Alvin finished speaking, Lazuli stepped onto the arena without hesitation and naturally took her place beside Tien and the others.

A moment later, another voice rang out.

“Hehe…

don’t forget about me.”

Lapis had sensed everyone’s ki gathering here and rushed over as quickly as he could.

Leaping onto the arena, he joined the others and shot his new brother-in-law a provocative grin.

“You stole my sister away.”

“I’m not letting you off that easily.”

Before Alvin could say anything, Bulma eagerly seized the opportunity.

“Match start!”

“Anyone knocked off the arena loses!”

She deliberately announced the rules before Alvin had a chance to object.

Around the arena, giant display screens immediately showed footage from high-speed cameras.

The platform was enormous, and the fighters moved far too quickly for ordinary spectators to follow with the naked eye.

The slow-motion replay allowed everyone to enjoy the match.

Standing below the stage, Alvin’s younger brother and sister watched excitedly.

They had both started martial arts training themselves.

One day, they hoped they would be fighting on this very arena.

…

Krillin, Chiaotzu, Yamcha, Tien, Lazuli, and Lapis advanced together as a coordinated team.

They attacked relentlessly, refusing to give Alvin any breathing room or allow him to unleash his full strength.

Their only goal was to keep him from throwing any of them off the platform.

Tien once again proved why he was considered a genius.

Before Piccolo became the Son family’s permanent babysitter, Tien was unquestionably Earth’s second-strongest martial artist after Goku.

Although everyone present was powerful by Earth standards, most of their Power Levels hovered a little above one hundred.

None exceeded one hundred and sixty…

Except for Tien, whose power alone had surpassed two hundred.

Despite being outnumbered six to one, Alvin barely felt pressured.

He even had enough spare attention to let his thoughts wander during the fight.

“I can’t eliminate my wife first…”

“And Lapis is my brother-in-law now.”

“Krillin keeps sneaking glances at my little sister…

I’ll let him off for now, considering the future.”

“Yamcha’s tragedy has already begun.

He couldn’t even hold on to the richest girl in the world.

Poor guy…

I’ll let him vent a little before knocking him out.”

“Tien’s the strongest among them.

It’d be boring to eliminate him first.”

After thinking it over…

Only one choice remained.

“Sorry, Chiaotzu.”

“You don’t seem like the type who cares much about winning anyway.”

…

To the spectators, the battle looked fierce and evenly matched.

But for the six people fighting Alvin…

The longer they exchanged blows, the more shocked they became.

No matter what they did…

They simply couldn’t find Alvin’s limit.

After happily “playing along” for nearly thirty minutes, Alvin finally decided to end the match.

Chiaotzu was the first to be sent flying off the arena.

Yamcha followed soon after.

Then came Krillin.

Next were Lapis and Lazuli.

Finally…

Tien was defeated as well.

Power Level Inheritance Activated.

[Defeated Chiaotzu: +26 Power Level]

[Defeated Yamcha: +28 Power Level]

[Defeated Krillin: +30 Power Level]

[Defeated Lapis: +23 Power Level]

[Defeated Lazuli: +24 Power Level]

[Defeated Tien: +44 Power Level]

The six of them had contributed a total of 175 Power Level.

Alvin’s own Power Level rose to 575.

It had already surpassed Goku’s strength when Raditz first arrived on Earth.

“Five hundred and seventy-five…”

“When I get to the Lookout, Goku probably won’t be my opponent anymore.”

Then he immediately shook his head.

“Don’t get cocky.”

“Absolutely don’t get cocky.”

“A few years from now, Goku’s Power Level will jump from the thousands to well over a hundred million in only a short time.”

“Five hundred is nothing.”

“Future Goku could kill me with a flick of his finger.”

Looking at the number displayed on his system panel, Alvin felt satisfied…

But he also reminded himself not to become complacent.

The explosive power scaling of the Dragon Ball world was simply too terrifying.

It never allowed him to feel truly safe.

…

Once the sparring session ended, everyone prepared to head home.

However, Alvin told them he had something important to discuss.

The group gathered once more at his house.

“You’ve all seen the dojo I built.”

“It’s much larger than a normal martial arts school.”

“I’d like to invite everyone here to become instructors or advisors.”

He smiled at the group before continuing.

“Instructors will receive a monthly salary of 200,000 zeni.”

“Advisors will receive 100,000 zeni per month.”

“As for bonuses…

we’ll talk about those once the dojo starts turning a profit.”

He glanced toward his younger brother and sister.

“They’re both still beginners.”

“So…”

“Which one of you would be interested in becoming their personal instructor?”
