Dragon Ball Super
Age 776, January 23
A remote planet.
“Tarble, are you really unwilling to marry my daughter, Gure?” Guping asked.
Tarble shook his head, “Uncle Guping, we really aren’t a good match.”
“Get out!
Get as far away as possible!
Don’t ever appear in front of my daughter again!”
“Alright then.” Tarble smiled helplessly.
“Actually, Uncle, I came here today to say goodbye.
I’m going to find my big brother.
As long as you spread the word that we’ve fled to Earth, you’ll be safe!”
“Get lost!
What I do is none of your business!”
Five minutes later, Tarble and his subordinate boarded their spherical spaceship and departed the planet, setting course for Earth.
The current Tarble was no longer the original Tarble.
The body remained the same, but the soul inside had completely changed.
After being reborn, he had spent an entire year training on this remote planet.
The results were remarkable.
His Power Level had reached 30,000.
Naturally, this incredible growth was all thanks to his unique Golden Finger.
Only Tarble could see it.
Unlike the overpowered Golden Fingers possessed by many novel protagonists that instantly made them invincible, his ability simply amplified the effects of training.
However, it came with one condition.
He could only activate the training multiplier by binding himself to living Saiyans.
Each Saiyan he bound increased his training efficiency by one additional multiplier.
Every time his strength advanced to a new tier, he gained another binding slot.
With a Power Level of 30,000, Tarble had already reached the third tier of strength, Planet-Busting Level.
Including the initial slots, he currently possessed four binding slots.
At present, only one slot was occupied.
That doubled the effectiveness of all his training.
The person he had bound was Licks, the mid-class Saiyan warrior King Vegeta had assigned to protect the original Tarble.
Licks originally had a Power Level of only 2,500.
After training alongside Tarble, his strength had increased to 15,000.
Thinking about it, there had originally been another guard named Tomato.
Unfortunately, Tomato had sacrificed his life protecting Tarble.
The original Tarble had also suffered fatal injuries during that incident.
That accident had allowed the current Tarble’s soul to take over this body.
It was also why he had rejected Gure’s marriage proposal only minutes earlier.
What a joke.
Although he had been a forty-one-year-old man before his reincarnation, he wasn’t desperate enough to marry an alien simply because the original Tarble had.
Even if Gure looked somewhat similar to Grand Zeno’s race and there was a tiny possibility she was somehow related to him, Tarble simply wasn’t interested.
His decision to leave had another reason.
He had finally discovered Earth’s location.
After calculating the travel time, they would arrive on May 8, Age 778.
If his memory was correct, Beerus would appear around that period.
Whether Beerus appeared or not wasn’t his biggest concern.
His real priority was finding more Saiyans to bind so he could increase his training speed.
Originally, he had planned to locate New Namek and borrow the Namekian Dragon Balls.
Unfortunately, he couldn’t find any reliable information about the planet.
Even if he did, there was no guarantee the Namekians would willingly lend him their Dragon Balls.
Besides, after everything Frieza had done, Tarble doubted the warrior-type Namekians had remained idle all these years.
Even if they lacked extraordinary talent, they were surely stronger than Nail had once been.
With a Power Level of only 30,000, visiting New Namek now would likely accomplish nothing.
After weighing every option, going to Earth first was clearly the smarter choice.
Strength came before everything else.
At that moment, Tarble gazed through the transparent observation window of the spherical spaceship.
Countless stars shimmered throughout the endless universe.
Anticipation filled his eyes.
Just then, Licks’ voice came through the scouter.
“Lord Tarble, if we travel to Earth, will we really find Lord Vegeta?”
Tarble smiled, “Don’t worry.
We’ll definitely find him.
He’ll probably be shocked to see us.
Activate sleep mode.
We’ll know the answer once we arrive.”
“Yes, my lord.”
The communication ended.
Tarble took one final look at the endless stars before switching off his scouter and activating the spaceship’s sleep mode.
Overall, he was quite satisfied with his new identity.
The only thing he disliked was his height.
Still, he hadn’t expected that the original Tarble had actually been protected by two Saiyan guards.
When King Vegeta had exiled his younger son, he had secretly assigned two loyal warriors to protect him.
Whatever King Vegeta’s flaws might have been, Tarble still felt a small amount of gratitude toward him.
Without Licks serving as his first binding target, and without someone to train alongside, his Power Level would never have reached 30,000 so quickly.
Meanwhile, elsewhere in the universe, the remnants of Frieza’s army intercepted news through their scouters that Tarble and Licks were heading toward Earth.
A blue-skinned alien with a single horn sneered.
“They killed our men and think they can escape?
No chance!
Cado, let’s chase them!”
This alien was Abo, one of Frieza’s surviving soldiers.
Standing beside him was his brother Cado, whose skin was red and who possessed two sharp horns.
Cado grinned wickedly, “Good.
If there are more Saiyans on Earth, we can eliminate all of them in one trip.”
A moment later, he frowned, “Hey, Abo.
Doesn’t the name Vegeta sound familiar?”
Abo laughed coldly, “Of course it does.
He’s that short Saiyan who used to work under Frieza.
He always walked around wearing a sour expression like the entire universe owed him money.
If he’s really on Earth, it’ll save us the trouble of searching for him.”
Cado suddenly remembered, “That’s right!
Now I remember.
Wasn’t Cui always picking on him?
That Vegeta never dared to fight back.
The funniest part is that Frieza destroyed Planet Vegeta while he remained completely unaware and kept risking his life working for Frieza.
How pathetic.”
Abo sneered, “Who cares if he’s pathetic?
If we find him on Earth, we’ll kill every Saiyan there.
So what if they defeated Frieza?
If the two of us fuse together, our Power Level will far surpass Frieza’s.
I’d like to see whether this so-called Super Saiyan is really that impressive.”
Cado snorted, “Exactly.
A Power Level of 120 million isn’t even worth mentioning anymore.
Let’s go before they escape again.”
“Move!”
May 8, Age 778
Earth
West City
It was a bright, sunny day.
Inside Bulma’s enormous estate, Vegeta trained relentlessly inside the Gravity Chamber.
Sweat poured from his body as overwhelming pressure bore down on him.
The gravity control panel displayed a single value.
500G
“Ninety-nine thousand, nine hundred ninety-eight.”
“Ninety-nine thousand, nine hundred ninety-nine.”
“One hundred thousand!”
As soon as he completed his one hundred thousandth repetition, his voice finally stopped.
