Hearing Vegeta’s scolding, Trunks instinctively shrank his neck.

He looked at his father with a puzzled expression.

Vegeta glanced at him before turning to Tarble.Full novel: Dragon Ball: My Training Effects Are Doubled — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

“Tarble, return to your base form first.

You haven’t checked your base Power Level yet, have you?

Let Trunks measure it.

If I’m not mistaken, your training speed after becoming a Super Saiyan is several times greater than ours.”

“Oh, I haven’t checked it yet.” Tarble answered casually before returning to his base form.

“Trunks, go ahead.”

“O-Okay.”

Even before the scan began, Vegeta’s eyes widened the moment he sensed Tarble’s unrestricted aura.

He already had his answer.

Licks felt it as well.

His face was filled with disbelief.

A moment later, Trunks finished the scan.

“677.8 million!

Uncle Tarble, your base Power Level is actually 677.8 million!

That’s incredible!

How did you do it?

It was only 2.78 million yesterday!”

The moment they heard the exact number, Vegeta and Licks cried out in shock.

“What?!” they exclaimed simultaneously.

Both of them had already sensed that Tarble’s aura was much stronger than the day before.

But they had never imagined the increase would be this enormous.

“677.8 million?

How is that possible?

Trunks, did you read it wrong?”

Vegeta would rather believe Trunks had made a mistake than accept the result immediately.

Even after breaking through to Super Saiyan 2, Vegeta could only increase his Power Level by around 250 million after ten hours of training under 500 times Earth’s gravity.

Yet Tarble had gained over 600 million while still training as a Super Saiyan.

That was nearly three days’ worth of Vegeta’s own progress.

Vegeta unconsciously raised his voice.

Startled, Trunks quickly looked back at the scouter.

After carefully checking the reading again, he nodded firmly.

“Dad, I didn’t misread it.

It really says 677.8 million.”

As soon as he finished speaking, Vegeta held out his hand.

“Give me the scouter.”

Without hesitation, Trunks removed it and handed it over.

What’s wrong with Dad?

Vegeta immediately put on the scouter and scanned Tarble himself.

“Tarble.

Don’t suppress your aura.”

“Alright.” Tarble complied helplessly.

It’s just that my training speed is faster than yours.

Do you really have to react this strongly?

A few moments later, Vegeta’s eyes widened like saucers.

His face was filled with disbelief.

“677.8 million…

He had always known Tarble possessed extraordinary talent.

He simply never imagined that while Tarble was still only a Super Saiyan, his training speed could already surpass Vegeta’s by such a ridiculous margin.

A low-class Saiyan?

And I’m supposed to be an elite warrior?

What a joke.

For the first time, Vegeta felt that the Saiyan system of classifying warriors by birth was utterly ridiculous.

No wonder their race had been destroyed.

According to that system, countless talented Saiyans had been labeled as low-class warriors and sent away from Planet Vegeta.

In the end, the Saiyan race gradually weakened until Frieza wiped them out.

Vegeta had once believed that if Frieza had never existed, the Saiyans would have continued to thrive.

Now he wasn’t so sure.

Perhaps extinction had only been a matter of time.

Seeing Vegeta suddenly fall silent, Tarble waited a few seconds before speaking softly.

“Big Brother Vegeta?

Are you alright?

Why did you suddenly stop talking?” Tarble’s voice pulled Vegeta back to reality.

His expression remained incredibly complicated.

There was shock.

Relief.

Admiration.

Frustration.

Disbelief.

Even a trace of loneliness.

At that moment, Vegeta became convinced of one thing.

Tarble possessed the greatest natural talent of any pure-blooded Saiyan in history.

“Tarble…”

He opened his mouth.

Then stopped.

Several times he tried to continue, yet no words came out.

Seeing that, Tarble smiled, “Big Brother, if you have something to say, just say it.

I can take it.”

A barely noticeable trace of regret flashed across Vegeta’s eyes.

“Tarble.

I should have found you much sooner.

You possess the greatest Saiyan talent.

We were wrong.

Completely wrong.

The Saiyans’ way of judging warriors by birth was a terrible mistake.

Those with the greatest talent may have been hiding among the so-called low-class warriors all along.

It’s a shame our people never realized it.”

After hearing those words, Tarble finally understood why Vegeta’s emotions had become so complicated.

Vegeta genuinely believed Tarble possessed the greatest talent among all Saiyans.

Unfortunately…

That title actually belonged to the young Saiyan still living on Planet Vampa.

Broly.

Tarble’s eyes flickered slightly, “Big Brother.

Isn’t it possible that Kakarot and I are simply exceptions among the low-class Saiyans?

And maybe I’m just an even bigger exception?”

Vegeta considered the possibility. Get faster updates on g.com.

It sounded reasonable.

Yet something about it still didn’t feel quite right.

Before he could think further, Tarble continued.

“Even if my talent really is greater than average…

I’m still much weaker than you.

My base Power Level is only 677.8 million.

But what about you?

You probably gained another 250 million today.

That means your current base Power Level is already over 1.0125 billion.

It’ll still take me a long time to catch up.”

Vegeta blinked.

???

Is that even the point?

I’m talking about your ridiculous training speed.

Why are you talking about our current Power Levels?

Do you even realize how little time you’ve spent training?

No…

I need to increase the gravity again.

Otherwise, in less than half a year, he’ll probably surpass me.

The more Vegeta thought about it, the stronger his sense of urgency became.

His fighting spirit ignited once again.

This time, however, it wasn’t because of Kakarot.

It was because he refused to let Tarble surpass him so quickly.

Tarble quietly observed every change in Vegeta’s expression.

Even without reading minds, he could more or less guess what Vegeta was thinking.

Vegeta simply hated losing.

At the same time, he was genuinely excited by Tarble’s astonishing potential.

However, Tarble’s own goal had never been surpassing Vegeta or Son Goku.

Now that he had successfully become a Super Saiyan 2, it was finally time for the next phase of his plan.

The Hyperbolic Time Chamber.

Thinking of it, Tarble immediately looked at Vegeta.

“Big Brother.

Tomorrow, Licks and I plan to enter the Hyperbolic Time Chamber.

I want to experience for myself whether it’s really as incredible as you described.

One year inside for only one day outside.”
