“Saiyans?” Android 18 frowned, confusion appearing on her usually calm face.

“I thought all the Saiyans were already on Earth.

Could there be other Saiyans besides Goku and Vegeta?”Full novel: Dragon Ball: My Training Effects Are Doubled — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

Master Roshi nodded thoughtfully.

“The two weaker Ki signatures should belong to the Saiyans.

If I’m not mistaken, the two powerful Ki signatures behind them are chasing them.

They either stumbled upon Earth by accident or came here specifically looking for Goku or Vegeta.”

Krillin immediately made his decision.

“Android 18, Master Roshi, you two stay here.

I’ll go find out what’s happening.”

“Krillin!” Android 18 called out instinctively, clearly worried about him.

Krillin smiled reassuringly.

“Don’t worry.

I’ll be careful.”

Before Android 18 could say anything else, Marron ran outside.

“Daddy, are you going to fight the bad guys?”

Everyone looked down.

Marron’s little face was filled with excitement and anticipation.

Krillin laughed.

“That’s right.

Daddy is going to stop the bad guys.

Marron, stay home with Mommy and be a good girl, okay?”

“Mhm!” Marron nodded repeatedly.

“I’m the best listener!”

Krillin gently rubbed her head.

“That’s my good girl.

Alright, Daddy has to go now.”

“Good luck, Daddy!”

“Haha.

Thanks.”

Without wasting another moment, Krillin waved goodbye before flying into the sky.

As he disappeared into the distance, he could still hear Marron’s excited voice.

“Wow!

Daddy is flying!”

Android 18’s voice followed shortly afterward.

“Krillin!

Be careful!”

The same scene was unfolding elsewhere across Earth.

Tien Shinhan’s Training Grounds

Tien Shinhan and Chiaotzu had been meditating beneath a roaring waterfall.

Suddenly, both of them opened their eyes simultaneously and looked toward the sky.

“What powerful Ki,” Chiaotzu said, looking puzzled.

“Tien Shinhan, who could those people be?”

Tien Shinhan nodded.

“Their Ki is impressive.

But two of those signatures feel very similar to Saiyans.” He stood up.

“Let’s go.

Krillin and the others have already left.”

“Alright.”

The two immediately took flight.

Gohan’s House

Gohan had the day off and had just finished lunch with Videl less than ten minutes earlier.

As she watched him suddenly look toward the sky, the smile on her face gradually disappeared.

Since they had gotten married, she had almost never seen Gohan look so serious.

The last time she remembered seeing that expression was during the battle against Majin Buu.

Her heart immediately tightened.

“Gohan, what’s wrong?”

Hearing her voice, Gohan smiled gently.

“Videl, I need to head out for a while.

Stay here and wait for me.”

Although she was worried, Videl forced herself to smile.

“Okay.

I’ll wait for you.”

Gohan nodded reassuringly.

“Don’t worry.

The people who arrived aren’t that strong.

It’s just that two of their Ki signatures feel like Saiyans, so I want to see what’s going on.”

Videl quietly sighed in relief.

“Still, be careful.”

“I will.” Gohan nodded firmly.

“I’ll be back soon.”

After Videl nodded, Gohan flew out through the open window.

Watching him disappear into the distance, she softly whispered, “I hope everything will be alright.”

Piccolo’s Meditation Site

Far from civilization, Piccolo was quietly meditating.

The sudden appearance of four unfamiliar Ki signatures instantly interrupted his training.

With his current strength, it was impossible to ignore people who made no attempt to hide their Ki.

“Enemies?” Piccolo carefully sensed each energy.

His expression became thoughtful.

“That’s strange.

Two of them are Saiyans.” He continued sensing the surrounding Ki.

“Gohan, Vegeta, and Krillin are already heading there.

They noticed it too.”

A faint smile appeared on his face.

“I might as well join them.

It’s been a while since I’ve seen Gohan.”

With that, Piccolo shot into the sky.

High Above Earth

Two spherical Saiyan spaceships burst through Earth’s atmosphere.

Trailing blazing flames and smoke, they carved brilliant arcs across the sky as they rapidly descended toward the planet.

Inside the ships were Tarble and Licks.

After more than two years of traveling through space, both had already awakened from their long hibernation.

Looking through the observation window as layers of white clouds rushed past, Tarble couldn’t help feeling emotional.

So this is Earth…

The world of Dragon Ball.

I’ll finally get to meet Goku in person.

Just then, Licks’ surprised voice came through the scouter.

“Prince Tarble, I’ve detected several powerful readings on Earth.

The highest Power Level is around 10,000.

That should be Prince Vegeta, right?

And they’re all gathering near our landing location.

Have they already discovered us?”

Tarble answered calmly.

“Who knows?

We’ll find out soon enough.”

In reality, during the past year of training, Tarble had completely mastered Ki Control.

He could freely suppress his Ki, sense the energy of others, and perfectly conceal his true strength.

Licks, however, knew nothing about that.

Tarble intentionally allowed his Power Level to remain fully exposed.

He wanted Vegeta and the others to believe he still couldn’t suppress or sense Ki, just like the Saiyans who had originally invaded Earth.

Otherwise, Vegeta might become suspicious.

Back then, neither Vegeta nor Nappa had possessed those abilities.

Just as Tarble finished speaking, an unfamiliar voice suddenly blasted through the scouter.

“Hahaha!

So you’re Tarble?

Thanks for leading us to the remaining Saiyans!

My brother and I will personally send all of you to meet Lord Frieza!

Once you’re dead, nobody in the universe will be able to stop us from becoming its emperors!

Hahaha!”

The loud laughter startled both Tarble and Licks.

Fortunately, neither of them screamed.

Otherwise, their ears would probably have been ringing.

Tarble quickly recognized who was speaking.

It had to be one of the surviving Frieza Force soldiers who had pursued the original Tarble years ago.

If he remembered correctly, they were the brothers Abo and Cado.

One had blue skin.

The other had red skin.

Their greatest ability was Fusion.

Tarble couldn’t help feeling speechless.

If you want to become rulers of the universe, then go do it.

Why are you so obsessed with hunting Saiyans?

You’re just asking to get yourselves killed.

He remembered that in the original story, those two had chased Tarble all the way to Earth before ultimately being defeated.

Tarble replied without the slightest fear.

“If you want to become emperors of the universe, go ahead.

So why keep provoking us Saiyans?

Are you that bored?”

A cold snort came through the scouter.

“Hmph.

As long as the Saiyans still exist, we’ll never feel secure ruling the universe.

So stop struggling.

Just wait quietly for your deaths!”
