Karan rolled his eyes.
“Are you stupid?
He didn’t care about your life earlier.
If I hadn’t shown up, Earth would’ve been doomed because of that arrogant idiot.
Keeping someone like him around is asking for trouble.”

Trunks’ eyes turned red.
“What he did was unforgivable.
He almost destroyed the world.
But he’s still my father.
Please show mercy!”
Seeing the desperate expression on Trunks’ face, Karan waved his hand impatiently.
“Enough with the tears.
I wasn’t planning to kill him.”
“If the world lost this punching bag who loves acting tough and getting beaten up, life would become a lot less entertaining.”
Although Vegeta was arrogant and foolish, his crimes didn’t deserve death.
Keeping him around as a source of amusement wasn’t bad either.

“W-When did you get here?”
He instinctively retreated two steps.
His escape plan had been completely destroyed.
“Did you forget what I said earlier?” Karan asked calmly.

Cell was stunned.
He had been too terrified to pay attention.
“Then I’ll repeat it.”
Karan stared at him and spoke slowly.
“I already said that today I’ll make you kneel on the ground and sing a song for me.”
“A song?”
Cell was completely dumbfounded.
He had no idea what Karan was talking about.
“Big brother…”
Cell swallowed nervously as his legs trembled.
“H-How do I sing?
If I do it, will you spare my life?”
For the sake of survival, he was willing to endure any humiliation.
