The world of Dragon Ball Super.

Earth had finally returned to peace after the defeat of Majin Buu.

How did I get here?’ Alex rubbed his head groggily.

‘Wasn’t I just in a beam struggle with Majin Buu?

Did my PS3 short out?

Ugh, secondhand consoles really are garbage.’

Alex’s eyes snapped open.

He was lying flat on his back in the middle of a traditional dojo, a massive Yin-Yang Bagua symbol painted on the floor ahead of him.

The last thing he remembered was happily playing Dragon Ball: Sparking!

and spamming ki blasts at an NPC Majin Buu.

He had mashed the buttons a little too hard, and the cheap, secondhand controller snapped.

A sudden jolt of electricity had surged up his arms, his vision had gone black, and he woke up here.

As he sat up, trying to make sense of his surroundings, a flood of foreign memories rushed into his mind.

It only took a few seconds for him to piece it all together.

He had crossed over!

Just like the protagonists in those web novels he used to read.

While the sudden reality shift was a shock, he accepted it surprisingly fast.

He’d read enough isekai tropes to be mentally prepared for this kind of thing.

Staring wide-eyed at the courtyard outside the dojo, he muttered to himself, “No way…

This is the world of Dragon Ball Super!”

As a massive Dragon Ball fan, he knew the lore inside and out.

He had rewatched every single series at least five times, and Super was no exception.

‘Crap, how am I supposed to survive here?’ In any other anime world, he could just lay low and live a quiet life.

But here?

Any random villain could casually blow up the entire planet!

‘Sure, Goku and the main cast usually save the day, but having to die and get resurrected by the Dragon Balls sounds like a miserable experience.’

‘Wait a minute.

I’m an isekai protagonist now, right?

Where’s my cheat code?’

Right as the thought crossed his mind, a mechanical voice echoed in his head.

“Ding!

Slacker Master System activating.

Binding to host…

10%…

50%…

100%.” “Binding successful.

Awarding Beginner’s Gift Pack!”

‘Slacker Master System?’ Alex deadpanned.

‘Could that name be any lamer?’

Still, the actual function sounded incredible.

All he had to do was take in disciples to earn rewards.

Even better, whenever a disciple increased their power level, he would receive double those stat gains!

He couldn’t help but grin.

If he managed to rope Goku, Vegeta, or Jiren into becoming his students, he wouldn’t even have to lift a finger to become the strongest in the multiverse.

Oh, right!

He had a starter pack to open.

‘Open the Beginner’s Gift Pack!’

“Ding!

Beginner’s Gift Pack opened successfully.” “Congratulations, you have received: Super Tri-Beam, Flight, Juggernaut Physique, Three-Eyed Celestial Bloodline, and a Power Level of 1 Billion.”

Alex’s eyes lit up as he listened to the system notifications.

‘Not a bad starter kit.

But what exactly is this Juggernaut Physique?’

He pulled up the skill descriptions in his mind.

Super Tri-Beam: An enhanced version of the traditional Tri-Beam.

Power output is multiplied several times over, and the originally slow charging time has been significantly reduced.

Juggernaut Physique: A potential-unlocking technique designed specifically for Earthlings.

When activated, the user enters a Juggernaut state, multiplying their base power level.

The exact multiplier depends on the user’s mastery.

Potential is limitless.

Three-Eyed Celestial Bloodline: The highest-tier lineage of the Three-Eyed clan.

Grants a third eye upon assimilation, multiplying innate potential.

Includes room for future evolution and special passive effects.

The Super Tri-Beam was straightforward enough, but the Juggernaut Physique and the Celestial Bloodline caught him off guard.

Any Dragon Ball fan knew that normal Earthlings got the short end of the stick when it came to natural talent.

Even Krillin, the strongest Earthling, was eventually relegated to the sidelines in major fights.

But this Juggernaut Physique perfectly solved the scaling issue.

Limitless potential meant he could actually keep up with Super Saiyans!

Honestly, Saiyan genetics weren’t even the ultimate cheat code in Super anyway—Goku and Vegeta just had crazy plot armor.

‘Should I fuse with the Three-Eyed Celestial Bloodline?’ The only prominent Three-Eyed clan member he knew of was Tien Shinhan.

‘If I integrate this, I’m going to sprout an eyeball right in the middle of my forehead.’

He reached up and rubbed his face.

‘Wouldn’t that ruin my rugged good looks?’ Alex was, admittedly, a bit vain.

But he had a right to be—his features were sharply defined and handsome, and he wasn’t about to mess up his face with a random third eye.

‘Forget it, I’ll pass on the bloodline.

With the Slacker Master System, I’m bound to roll way better genetic traits later on anyway.’ He sighed.

‘Man, I really hate that system name.’

‘System, learn Flight!

Learn Super Tri-Beam!

Learn Juggernaut Physique!’

“Ding!

Congratulations to the host for successfully learning Flight, Super Tri-Beam, and Juggernaut Physique.”

Instantly, years’ worth of martial arts knowledge and ki control techniques flooded into his brain, embedding themselves into his muscle memory.

At the same time, a warm, soothing energy flowed through his meridians, settling deep within his core.

He called up his status screen.

Host: Alex

Techniques: Super Tri-Beam, Flight

Special Skills: Juggernaut Physique

Bloodline: Earthling

Base Power Level: 1,000,000,000

Seeing those numbers, Alex ran a hand through his hair in frustration.

‘A base power level of one billion?

That’s way too low.’

Power scaling in Dragon Ball Super was utterly broken.

The power levels dwarfed anything from the previous series.

Gods of Destruction, the Grand Minister, multiverse bosses—they were all ridiculously overpowered.

In the grand scheme of things, one billion was just a drop in the bucket.

Besides, it wouldn’t be long before Beerus and Whis arrived on Earth.

Sure, Goku managed to defuse the situation in the original timeline, but what if the butterfly effect messed things up?

If Lord Beerus actually decided to wipe out Earth, there would be nowhere to run.

A knot of anxiety tightened in his chest.

‘I need to grind my power level.

Fast.’

He pushed himself off the floor, planning to head outside and figure out exactly where on Earth this dojo was located.

Just then, a voice echoed from outside the dojo gates.

“Tien, is there really a martial arts master living here?” a high-pitched, skeptical voice asked.

Alex paused.

He didn’t recognize the voice at first, but the name dropped in the sentence immediately tipped him off.

Tien?

The only person who constantly hovered around Tien Shinhan was Chiaotzu!

“Yes, Chiaotzu,” a deeper, stoic voice replied.

He was right.

It was them.

Alex’s mind raced.

Tien was looking for a master?

Was he here to ask for guidance?

It made perfect sense.

According to the lore, Tien and Chiaotzu spent most of their time training in absolute isolation up in the mountains.

Wandering into an old dojo looking for a hidden expert was entirely in character.

A slow grin spread across Alex’s face.

‘Looks like my first disciples just delivered themselves right to my doorstep.’

“Junior Tien Shinhan,” the deep voice called out from the courtyard, “requests an audience with the master of the house!”
