In the deep abyss of space, the spaceship Dalles rode in was named the Destroyer.

That’s right, its name was just that imposing!

This was because the group of space pirates led by Dalles shared the exact same domineering title.Full novel: Dragon Ball: The Saiyan Who Served Frieza — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

They were known as the Destroyer Corps!

Before this, Dalles and the rest of the corps members hadn’t felt there was anything wrong with it; in fact, they were quite proud of it!

But times had changed.

Now, Dalles considered the name a massive taboo.

The reason was simple: Dalles was a transmigrator from an alternate Earth who had usurped this body!

The title “Destroyer” was only a single word away from “God of Destruction”!

And who were the Gods of Destruction?

They were not only the absolute authorities of the Seventh Universe, but also terrifying, unpredictable beings who would commit demonic atrocities in the name of the divine at the drop of a hat.

Parading around the universe with a name like the Destroyer Corps?

Did they have a death wish?

However, Dalles couldn’t really be blamed for this.

Two years ago.

The cosmic overlord, Lord Slug, mobilized his subordinates to search for a miraculous fruit—the Fruit of the Tree of Might!

Along with its seeds.

Dalles’s squad was one of the teams assigned to this task.

As luck would have it, Dalles actually managed to follow Lord Slug’s clues and successfully found the genuine Fruit of the Tree of Might within the ancient ruins of a desolate planet!

While this fruit allowed Dalles to experience unprecedented power, it also caused his ambitions to inflate endlessly.

He began to entertain the idea of breaking away from Lord Slug’s forces to establish his own faction.

Thus, Dalles renamed his squad the Destroyer Corps.

He intended to use the Fruit of the Tree of Might to forge his Destroyer Corps into the most powerful army in the universe!

However, the Tree of Might could only bear fruit if its seeds were planted on a planet brimming with life.

It would drain the vitality of an entire planet, using it as nourishment until nothing was left!

All to produce that intoxicating Fruit of the Tree of Might.

Afterward, the planet would be reduced to a complete dead star!

This was exactly what Dalles and his crew had been doing for the past year!

It had to be said, though, that planets capable of nurturing life were already a minority in the universe.

Among that small fraction, those that met the growth requirements for the Tree of Might were even rarer.

Over the past two years, Dalles and his corps members had only found a total of two planets that fit the criteria.

Just those two successes were enough to let it go to their heads.

Dalles, who started with a combat power of just over 2,000, saw his power level skyrocket to over 30,000 after consuming four Fruits of the Tree of Might!

In the eyes of the original Dalles, a combat power of 10,000 was already the absolute pinnacle of strength!

A combat power of 30,000 was something he wouldn’t have even dared to dream of in the past!

Even if it wasn’t quite on par with Lord Slug, the gap wouldn’t be too large!

He could almost envision the moment he dominated the universe!

It really wasn’t his fault for having such a skewed perception.

Originally, he was nothing more than a low-class Saiyan warrior from Planet Vegeta.

Sent off to a low-level planet as a child, his spaceship malfunctioned and lost contact with headquarters before he could even complete his mission of conquering the planet and returning to Planet Vegeta.

Although this stroke of luck allowed him to escape Frieza’s purge, living long-term on a backward planet disconnected from the rest of the universe meant it was impossible for him to have any real understanding of the true powerhouses out there.

But now, everything was different!

Today’s Dalles was a completely new Dalles.

As a transmigrator, he had a crystal-clear understanding of his current situation.

Thinking he could rely on the Fruit of the Tree of Might to break away from Lord Slug’s forces and establish his own empire was simply a fool’s dream.

The gap between them was far too vast to be bridged by a fruit he couldn’t even eat twice a year!

That is, unless Lord Slug continued to turn a blind eye to them.

But in reality, no matter how oblivious Lord Slug might be, two years had passed.

He definitely already knew about the original body’s betrayal, including the matter of the Tree of Might!

Despite this, the original Dalles hadn’t felt the slightest sense of urgency.

This was the blind confidence born of ignorance!

If Lord Slug’s fleet actually caught up to them, they would be in for a world of pain!

At this thought, Dalles couldn’t help but press a hand to his forehead, a look of distress crossing his face.

To be faced with such a massive dilemma right after transmigrating…

“Lord Dalles.”

While Dalles was deep in thought, the title interrupted his musings.

Dalles looked up and clearly saw the person approaching.

It was a short-statured alien.

After briefly searching his memories, Dalles recalled the man’s information.

His name was Rez, and he was the twin brother of Lakasse, another alien of similar build currently sitting at the piloting console.

The brothers were the high-tech specialists under Dalles’s command.

They possessed extremely high IQs and were among the earliest members to follow Dalles.

Upgrading Dalles’s original single-man space pod to this current super-massive spaceship was entirely the handiwork of the brothers, Rez and Lakasse.

“What is it?” Dalles looked at Rez.

“Lord Dalles, we are about to enter the North Galaxy, and we still haven’t detected any planets that meet the requirements.”

“Should we continue moving forward?”

“The North Galaxy?” Dalles’s heart instantly skipped a beat.

In the world of Dragon Ball, the universe was divided into the East, West, South, and North Galaxies.

The term “Galaxy” here didn’t refer to a standard galaxy like the Milky Way.

Rather, it represented entire quadrants of the universe.

And the Earth, where the main cast of Dragon Ball—Son Goku, Bulma, and the others—resided, was located precisely in the North Galaxy.

As everyone knew, Earth in fictional works was always a high-incident zone!

It was a chaotic melting pot of danger, definitely not a good place to be!

Villains who went there rarely ever returned!

Unfortunately, fiction had now become reality.

And Dalles was exactly one of those villains!

That was why Dalles reacted the way he did upon hearing Rez mention the North Galaxy.

Their journey had started in the West Galaxy, and now they were on the verge of entering the North Galaxy.

Dalles didn’t immediately answer his subordinate’s question.

Instead, he fell deep into thought once more.

Noticing that something seemed off with Dalles, the rest of his subordinates looked over as well.

There was Armond, who had reddish skin and his hair tied into a single braid.

Daiz, with his short light-blue hair and cold, ruthless expression.

And Cacao, who possessed a metallic body of bright red and silver-white.

Then there were the brothers, Rez and Lakasse.

This was the first time they had ever seen their boss reveal such a troubled expression.

“How many Fruits of the Tree of Might do we have left?” Dalles suddenly asked.

His subordinates froze for a moment before Armond quickly replied, “Lord Dalles, we have one left!”

“Once we enter the North Galaxy, head immediately toward the territory of the Frieza Force!”

Hearing this, the brothers Rez and Lakasse turned their heads.

“My Lord, do you mean Frieza, the Emperor of the Universe?”

Dalles didn’t even look back, his gaze remaining fixed on the cosmic river of stars outside the spaceship.
