Bulma looked into Yamcha’s eyes.

If it were the past Yamcha, she definitely would have pursued the matter to the end and even mocked him for having whimsical ideas.

But now, she felt that the man in front of her was somewhat trustworthy.Full novel: Dragon Ball: Yamcha, the Strongest Earthling — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

Ten minutes later, Bulma rummaged through a locker, dug out a disc-shaped instrument, and tossed it to Yamcha.

“I just replaced the battery, and the signal module has been upgraded as well. The search range is twice as large as before,” Bulma said.

Yamcha caught the radar and pressed the top button.

A radar scanning grid immediately lit up on the screen, with seven flashing dots distributed across various locations on the holographic map.

Yamcha shoved the radar into his trouser pocket.

“Young Master, where are you going?”

Puar flew into the laboratory and landed on Yamcha’s shoulder.

“Take me with you! I can transform into a vehicle to help you on your way!”

Yamcha reached out and stroked Puar’s head.

“Not this time. I’ll be traveling day and night, so bringing you along would actually be inconvenient. You should stay at Capsule Corp and keep Bulma company.”

Although Puar felt a bit dejected, it obediently nodded.

“Okay, Puar will definitely complete the task!”

“I’m leaving. See you in ten days.”

Yamcha waved at Bulma, turned around, and leaped out of Capsule Corp.

Bulma looked at Yamcha’s retreating figure, bit her lower lip, and muttered softly, “This guy… when did he become so capable.”

…

Outskirts of West City.

Yamcha pressed out a single-person aircraft from his hoi-poi capsule case.

This was a vehicle he had bought with a loan when he went out for training previously, and its speed could reach twice the speed of sound.

He straddled the aircraft and started the engine.

Blue exhaust flames spewed out, and Yamcha soared into the sky, turning into a streak of light as he flew eastward.

His current Power Level was 168.

Although he hadn’t learned Crane School’s Flight Technique yet and couldn’t perform long-distance high-speed flight, relying on technological equipment, his travel speed was not slow at all.

The radar showed that the nearest dragon ball was in a primeval forest a thousand kilometers to the east.

Three hours later, the aircraft hovered above a dense canopy of trees.

Yamcha glanced down at the radar; the point of light was directly below.

He leaped down, his body plummeting rapidly through the air.

The wind whistled past his ears.

When he was ten meters away from the ground, he held his breath, focused his mind, and mobilized the “Qi” within his body to surge toward his legs.

Bang!

His feet landed steadily, stepping two shallow pits into the ground, and the huge recoil force was perfectly neutralized by his Qi.

“My control over Qi is much smoother than yesterday.”

Yamcha clenched his fist.

Following the radar’s guidance, he pushed aside waist-high weeds and walked forward.

Suddenly, the bushes ahead shook violently.

A sabertooth tiger as large as an elephant pounced out, opening its bloody maw to bite at his head.

This primeval forest was one of the few undeveloped areas on Earth, inhabited by many mutated Vicious Beasts.

Facing the ferocious beast rushing towards him, Yamcha’s gaze didn’t fluctuate at all.

He raised his right hand, pressing his index and middle fingers together.

The aura within his body quickly gathered according to Turtle School’s Qi Gathering method, compressing into a high-density energy point at his fingertips.

A beam of white light shot from his fingertips, moving so fast that the naked eye couldn’t catch it.

Puchi!

The beam instantly pierced through the sabertooth tiger’s skull, leaving a charred bloody hole right between its eyebrows.

Its huge body lost control and crashed down beside Yamcha’s feet, kicking up a puff of dust.

Without giving another glance to the corpse on the ground, Yamcha walked over to where the sabertooth tiger had been lying and dug out an orange-glowing orb from a dirt pit.

The Four-Star Ball.

“The first one.”

Yamcha put the dragon ball into his backpack, glanced at the radar, and soared into the sky once again.

Over the next three days, Yamcha crossed snow-capped mountains, deserts, and the ocean floor, crushing everything in his path with a Power Level of 168.

Whether it was the giant octopus of the deep sea or the armed bandit group occupying the snow peak, none could stop his footsteps for even a minute.

Actual combat was the best way to test Qi.

Three days of high-intensity travel and combat made Yamcha increasingly proficient in his application of Qi.

He was already able to contain his Qi within his body without leaking even a shred, and could unleash his strongest destructive power in an instant.

Evening of the fifth day.

In the desolate rocky canyon, fierce winds whipped up a sky full of yellow sand.

Yamcha stood on a huge rock and unzipped his backpack.

Seven equally-sized orange orbs rolled onto the ground, with the red stars inside lined up sequentially from one to seven.

They were all gathered.

Yamcha took a deep breath, calming his racing heartbeat.

This was the first time since his Transmigration that he truly faced the power of Earth’s deity.

He took two steps back, spread his arms wide, and shouted towards the seven dragon balls on the ground:

“Come forth, Shenron! Grant my wish!”

As soon as his voice fell, the seven dragon balls simultaneously erupted with a dazzling golden light.

This light shot straight into the clouds, and the originally clear sky was instantly shrouded in thick dark clouds, darkening the entire world.

Gale winds howled, and lightning shuttled through the clouds.

Rumble!

Amidst a deafening clap of thunder, the golden light transformed into a huge green Eastern Dragon, hovering in mid-air.

Shenron’s body was incomparably massive, its scales flashing with a cold luster under the lightning, its two dragon whiskers fluttering in the wind, and its huge red eyes overlooking Yamcha on the ground.

“Person who has gathered the dragon balls, state your wish. No matter what wish it is, I can grant one for you.”

Shenron’s voice was deep and grandiose.

Yamcha raised his head and looked straight into Shenron’s eyes.

Several alternative plans flashed quickly through his mind.

Wish for eternal life?

It was temporarily meaningless; in front of the Saiyans, he would still be beaten into minced meat.

Wish to directly gain Power Level?

Shenron couldn’t do that; its power could not exceed that of its creator, Kami.

Furthermore, the greedier the wish, the more it carried certain unbearable side effects.

What Yamcha was thinking was:

Since Earth human bodies possessed genetic locks, the ceiling of potential was visible to the naked eye.

Then he needed a mechanism capable of breaking through this ceiling, and the most unreasonable power-up mechanism in the entire Universe was on the Saiyans.

Yamcha steadied his voice and spoke loudly, word by word:

“Shenron, my wish is to change my Physique and grant me a Saiyan Bloodline!”

The wind stagnated for a split second.

Shenron in mid-air fell silent.

That pair of huge red eyes blinked a few times, seeming to perform some kind of rule-level calculation and deduction.

The canyon was very quiet.

The pressure of the System task countdown and the shadow of the Saiyan invasion were all weighed upon this wish.

Ten seconds later, Shenron slowly lowered its huge head.

“This wish…” Shenron’s voice echoed through the clouds.

…

Above the high altitude, Kamis Lookout.

The air was extremely thin, and the huge hemispherical palace stood quietly at the edge of the clouds, surrounded by exotic flowers and plants.

This was the highest place on Earth, an absolute forbidden zone that Mortals could not reach no matter how hard they tried in their lifetime.

Kami leaned on a wooden cane, standing at the edge of the lookout square.

His green skin was covered in gullies, and his white robe fluttered in the wind.

His eyes penetrated the clouds, looking straight down at the desolate canyon below.

Mr.Popo put down the watering can in his hand and stopped the action of watering the flowers and plants.

He walked to Kami’s side, hands clasped in front of him, with no expression visible on his black face.

The two of them just watched Yamcha making a wish below.

“How truly rare.”

Kami slowly spoke, “The haze of Demon King Piccolo has only dispersed for two years, yet someone has actually collected all seven dragon balls again.”
