Nicolas stood up beside what it was needed before the needed and the beautiful. It was the day of conquest. Nothing could sound better. A step to glory. The Hunter Association testing grounds in the capital sat on a wide mid-level platform overlooking the main branch-road. Mia stepped onto the central circle in fitted black combat clothes that did nothing to hide her new height, the heavy Q-cup swell of her chest, or the luminous authority in her eyes. The examiners, three Epic-ranked officialsmexchanged glances the moment her Heroic Queen of the Light spirit flared into visible form behind her.

The tests ran in sequence.

She struck the reinforced pillar once. Sacred light exploded from her fist. The pillar did not crack it purified into white ash and drifted away on the wind.

Speed.

The measured course blurred. She finished before the timing crystal finished its first cycle.

Resistance.

Layered pressure, corrosive mist, kinetic storms, and a borrowed Epic-rank killing intent washed over her. The Sacred Phoenix Light simply burned every impurity to nothing. She stood untouched.

Martial spirit.

The detection crystal flared so brightly the examiners shielded their eyes. Heroic Queen of the Light registered in perfect clarity, crowned and winged, radiating purification and rebirth.

Overall evaluation: Heroic rank confirmed.

Token issued on the spot.

As Mia accepted the black-and-gold Heroic hunter plaque, a man approached from the observation deck. Tall, dark-haired, wearing the insignia of a mid-tier capital guild, he carried the coiled, blood-scented pressure of an Epic Asura spirit. The spectral outline of a six-armed war-demon flickered once behind him.

“Elias Vorn,” he introduced himself with a polished smile. “Vice-commander of the Crimson Coil Guild. I watched your test. A newly risen Heroic with a purification-type spirit of that purity is rare, especially one who appeared out of nowhere. The Crimson Coil can offer you immediate core-member status, private resources, and protection under our banner. In return you fight under our name in the capital circuits. Interested?” New chapters come out on novelping dot com first.

Mia looked at him for less than a second. Her eyes, still shining like ten thousand suns, did not soften.

She said nothing.

She simply turned and walked toward the Legendary dungeon entrance. Elias’s smile froze. The Asura spirit behind him stirred in irritation, but he did not follow. Background whispers already moved through the watching hunters: Elias Vorn, known for collecting promising new Heroics and binding them with contracts that favored the guild far more than the hunter. Most who refused him eventually found their dungeon permits delayed or their reputation quietly stained. Mia’s silence had been absolute.

Nicolas waited for her at the dungeon arch. He gave a single nod. Together they stepped inside.

The Legendary dungeon beneath the capital unfolded in wide, cathedral-like halls of black stone and residual imperial wards. The first wave hit them within minutes.

Four hundred Legendary-rank Ifrits, flame djinn of the higher order poured from side gates, bodies of living fire and malice. Mia raised one hand.

“Judgement Day.”

Sacred Phoenix Light erupted in a expanding sphere of pure white-gold radiance. Every Ifrit it touched was illuminated down to its core. Corruption, hatred, and unstable elemental bonds burned away in an instant. Those that could not endure the light simply ceased reduced to clean ash. The few that survived the first pulse were already staggered; Mia walked through them, each gesture a precise purification that ended their existence without prolonged struggle.

Deeper halls released three thousand King Ghosts, ancient, crowned specters that carried the death-agony of fallen monarchs. Their wails tried to drag the living into despair. Nicolas looked at the crowd of monster and made a sign. Mia’s light answered. Purification swept the corridors in waves. Ghosts that had lingered for centuries were forced into final judgment; those worthy of release faded into peace, those anchored by malice burned to nothing. She never slowed.

One thousand Behemoths came next—towering, armored beasts of earth and raw muscle, each the size of a small house. They charged in a living avalanche. Mia’s eyes flared brighter.

“Judgement Day.”

The sacred light became a continuous storm. Behemoth after Behemoth was illuminated, their violent cores exposed and incinerated. Armor melted into purified slag. The ground itself was left clean behind her.

At the final chamber the dungeon boss waited: a Golden Orc of true Legendary peak, three times the height of a man, skin like living orichalcum, wielding an axe that hummed with condensed killing intent. It roared and attacked with speed that belied its bulk.

Mia did not dodge. She met the axe with an open palm of Sacred Phoenix Light. The weapon’s enchantments purified and shattered. The Orc’s eyes widened in the instant before her second pulse of Judgement Day washed over it. Every drop of berserk bloodline, every curse, every scrap of corrupted power was burned away. What remained was only a body that could no longer stand. She finished it with a single thrust of light through the heart. Get faster updates on novelping(.)com.

Silence fell.

The dungeon core cracked and released its accumulated wealth. Crystals and gems of every elemental affinity poured into the collection field raw, high-purity, and numerous.

Total harvest: 50,000,000 crystal and gem units.

Mia stood in the center of the emptied boss chamber, sacred fire still gently rising from her skin, Q-cup breasts rising and falling with controlled breath, luscious hips steady, eyes radiant. The Heroic Queen of the Light spirit folded its luminous wings behind her.

Nicolas walked up beside her and surveyed the glittering hoard.

“The capital will know by nightfall,” he said.

Mia’s voice was calm, edged with new steel.

“Let them know. This planet is only the beginning.”

Together they sealed the loot and walked back toward the dungeon exit, leaving behind four hundred Ifrits, three thousand King Ghosts, one thousand Behemoths, and one Golden Orc all judged, purified, and erased while the banners of the Sons of Jormungandr continued to fly high above the capital, still unaware of how quickly the board had begun to change.

Damn it. I should pull up a baddie.
