Melody glances back at the stands, a small smile play upon her lips.
Goku: I don’t know, Vegeta, but we’re about to find out!
Look, Goten’s up next!
*He points eagerly towards the arena.*
The crowd roars as Goten faces off against Trunks in an unexpected turn of events.
Max withdrew.
The Quarter-Finals breezed on and now Goten and Trunks faces each other in the Semi-Finals match.
The winner will face Melody in the Finals.
Trunks: Ready to lose, Buddy?
*He smirks, adjusting his headband.*
Goten: In your dreams, Trunks!
*He clenched his fists, tail swishing steadily behind him.*
The match began, and to everyone’s surprise, Goten held his own against Trunks.
Vegeta: What?
How is Kakarot’s brat keeping up with my son?
*He leans annoyingly closer, grubbing the railing tightly.*
Goku: Atta boy, Goten!
Show ’em what you’ve got!
*He pumps his fist in the air.*
Goten narrowly defeats Trunks.
Goku: Unbelievable!
Goten’s actually in the Finals.
*He scratches the back of his head, looking at Vegeta.
It’s clear on his face that he wasn’t expecting this outcome.*
Vegeta: Hmph.
A fluke, nothing more.
*He crossed his arms, scowling
After about half an hour, the Final match began: Goten (Son of previous World Champion, Goku) vs.
the Mysterious white-headed beauty, Melody.
Melody: Your luck ends here, Goten.
*She takes a defensive stance that clearly says: Game on.*
Goten: We’ll just have to see about that, now, won’t we?
*He charged forward, happy for the quick recovery that the Sensu Bean assured him.*
The battle rages on, both fighters equally bruised and exhausted.
Melody: Time to end this.
Solar Flare…!!!
*She raised her hands to the sides of her face and called the attack out at the top of her lungs.*
Piccolo: What?
That’s_ *He shield his eyes a moment too late, falling among the others as temporarily blinded.*
Krillin: No way!
How does she even know that technique?
*He blinked rapidly, trying to clear his vision.*
Melody: *She launches into the air, giving off the illusion of flying.* ZANZABEE…..!!!
*Spirals of blue and red energy formed around her frame.*
The energy blast rains down on the temporarily blinded Goten.
Goku: Goten!
No!
*He started rushing forward but stopped at the edge of the stands.*
Vegeta: Impossible!
Where did she learn these techniques?
*His aura flared up, causing nearby spectators to back away.*
Emcee: Unbelievable!
Melody wins the 30th World Martial Arts Tournament!
*He gestures wildly at Melody who landed gracefully in the ring.*
Melody: Thank you all for a wonderful tournament.
*She smiles enigmatically at the crowd, her gaze lingering for a moment longer on Goku and Vegeta.*
