Chapter 3: Ch 3 Infinite Comprehension.

Dual Cultivation: Infinite Comprehension with Dual Cultivation Manual

[You have touched a high grade Dual Cultivation Techquie.]

[The Dao of Comprehension has resonated with techquie.]

[Host had unlocked the Yin and Yang Exchange Techquie.]

[Mastery rate: 0%]

[Detail: Dual Cultivation is built upon intimacy. This technique moves further and uses the bodily fluids of one Dao partner to cultivate.]

[Hint: Higher mastery leads to higher gains.]

"Holy crap...is this my golden figure!" Wan Ling burst into tears after the system panel flickered in front of him.

For almost thirty years since he had been in this world, he had hoped for something, anything to make his life much easier.

At first he believed being born into the Wan family was his cheat but that was stripped away so he continued dreaming.

After all he was a transmigrator wasn’t it only logical the gods or whomever sent him here to give him something in return from stripping him away from the afterlife.

After almost three years of dreaming, it seems he was no longer a dreamer since he had finally unlocked his cheat, though he didn’t understand what exactly it did.

So he tried initiating a conversation.

"What exactly do you do?" He asked.

[The infinite comprehension System allows the user to comprehend any skill, Technique and even lineage abilities. To a level that surpasses even the original.]

Wan Ling was left gasping in shock at how insane this ability was.

With this power becoming a true Immortal wasn’t just possible but he could aim a step further and became a god.

[Given the host’s low aptitude for cultivation. It is advised to find a Dao partner and increase your mastery with Dual Cultivation to build a steady foundation before learning other skills.]

"I see!" Wan Ling nodded and held the dual Cultivation Manual.

Opening the pages and flipping through them, it was as if the information inside was already within his mind.

How to extract Yin essence and refine into pure Qi.

The various positions to make the technique more effective and so much more stuff.

The book was essentially now useless for him but it wasn’t worthless.

"I guess I’ll keep it and maybe sell it one day." He told himself that and placed the manual within his storage ring.

Then came the pouch full of high grade spirit tone.

According to Elder Han Lie, they number a hundred.

This was essentially a small wealth just for him.

It could feed an entire family for many decades and even for cultivators it was quite a lot.

It could buy him some high quality equipment, especially weapons.

Now though he had more important things to worry about.

For instance, how was he going to get a Dao partner?

He was quite handsome but cultivators were prideful individuals.

He would need to provide them with equal benefits before they would accept.

" Well night is already here. I suppose I’ll think about it tomorrow."

Telling himself that, Wan Ling exited the cave and went straight home.

The next morning, Wan Ling woke up slightly more energetic than usual.

For the past few days each morning felt like a rinse and repeat of doing mediocre jobs that barely afforded him money to survive in the sect but today he had a small fortune with him and provided he found a partner, he could elevate his cultivation.

Climbing off his small mattress bed, he quietly moved towards his windows to adjust the curtains, allowing the morning sun light in.

Amidst that, he heard a knock on his door followed by a familiar voice.

" Wan Ling you’re up."

The voice belonged to one of the few friends he had in the sect, Feng Ye.

He was a man of a similar age he met a decade ago when he first entered the sect.

Unlike him Feng Ye was very talented and was almost set to become a core disciple in a few years.

Even so he never looked down on Wan Ling and occasionally came around for them to hang out.

If one were to ask Wan Ling about his opinion of Feng Ye, he would say he very much liked and trusted him.

He wasn’t the kindest of fellows, he could be mischievous at times but he was very loyal and if there was one thing Wan Ling admired more than humility, it would be loyalty.

It didn’t matter how good a person was, if they weren’t loyal he would never trust them.

Even so, that didn’t mean Wan Ling was going to tell Feng Ye about his gains.

The world of cultivation was a cutthroat one.

Familial bonds and friendship could collapse because of techniques or bloodlines.

If Feng Ye were to find out about his power, he might kill him to hoard it and Wan Ling would not be able to fight back.

Maybe in time he shall reveal but now wasn’t that time.

That isn’t to say Feng Ye couldn’t help him.

Thinking so, he slipped into his dress and opened the door.

As it opened, the form of a handsome youth with inky black hair, tied in a high ponytail using red ribbons was revealed.

He had a dashing smile plastered on his perfectly portioned face.

His eyes were a shade of blue and through the gaps within his red and golden sect uniform one could see glimpses of his well sculptured muscles.

Wan Ling himself was toned but even he could admit he couldn’t compare his muscle gains to Feng Ye.

"Woah Wan Ling, you look like a mess." He said jokingly and entered his quarters.

Wan Ling sighed sheepishly and closed the door behind him as he followed.

"Well unlike you, traitorous friend. My Cultivation is far too low to keep me youthful." He remarked and went on to pour him a cup of water.

Feng Ye received it and drank it all in one gulp before his expression turned stern.

"What is it?" Wang Ling was surprised by the sudden change.

Feng Ye signed and went on to explain.

"My promotion to become a core disciple. It seems it will happen far sooner than anticipated."

Wang Ling was slightly envious but just as equally happy for his friends.

"That is good news is it not?"

"Normally yes but I had to trade in the disciple exams for an even more difficult one. Elder An Wei wants me to kill a grade 2 beast from the Northern region."

Wang Ling was shocked.

A grade 2 beast was not to be trifled with.

Even the weakest ones could level a city or two if not stop.

" A grade two requires one to be at least in the core formation stage. You’re half a step from there, it shouldn’t be that hard."

Feng Ye wasn’t just a Cultivation genius but a battle genius.

If they were cultivators he was sure would ascend to the higher realms, Feng Ye would be one of them.

"You think so, Wang Ling?" He asked, clearly shocked.

"Yeah I think so. You’re strong, smart and adaptive. If anyone can pull off killing a grade 2 beast in the Qi refinement stage. That will be you."

" Hehehe!" Feng Ye found himself bursting into laughter after hearing those words.

" Man you almost got me flustered." He grabbed his stomach as laughter continued to spill out.

" If I was a girl I’d probably have kissed you by now."

" Stop making it weird." Wang ling said coldly though a smile tugged along the corners of his lips.

He then when on to change the subject.

"I need a favor?" He asked Feng Ye whom was recovering his laughter.
