The next morning.

"Stop sucking me!"

Saiki woke up kicking the blanket away while scratching his bitten face.Full novel: DxD: The Gamer with a Pocket Hunting Dimension — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

At night, it wasn't hot and he didn't turn on the air conditioning. By morning, it started getting hotter and hotter.

As "fresh meat," Saiki became a target for the mosquitoes that managed to get into his apartment.

With a slight irritation already upon waking up, he got up and went to the bathroom.

In the bathroom, looking at his reflection in the mirror, he had to admit that after losing weight, he had become more pleasant to the eyes.

Another thing. On his left cheek, there was a small red mark that disappeared very quickly as if he were watching a screen in fast-forward instead of his own reflection.

Turning his attention back to his appearance. It was a very expressive change. From a very fat face, he now had an acceptable face.

Nothing against fat people, but he also had nothing in favor. Whether for appearance, or even health. It was terrible to get tired from doing the minimum of something.

Now, although he hadn't become any soap opera heartthrob, even so, it was better than good compared to before.

This also brought a slight concern about the reaction of the people who still remember him as a fat boy.

'Whatever.'

He shrugged.

Although he knew that even if he didn't want to, he would need to think of something that explains his changes, because many will be curious about it, in the end, he could invent something like he started training and somehow changed this much.

Whether they believe or not what he was saying, it doesn't matter much.

Many can convince themselves that it's because he's going through puberty, although it's hard, maybe even impossible to change that much in so little time, even if a bariatric surgery was done.

On the way to school, Saiki felt like he hadn't done this in a long time, it even made him feel a bit nostalgic. Which was strange, since the last day he went to school was last Friday.

'Is this because of Will's memories?'

He let out a sigh. But his eyes were firm. He wasn't going to let these memories influence him.

As he got closer to the school, the noises increased. The colors multiplied, but at the same time, standardized into dark blue, white and wine red colors.

"Saiki."

"Saiki-san!"

"Saiki-kun!"

He turned upon hearing the three familiar voices in chorus.

"I knew it! It really is Saiki-san!"

Manaka, Takashi and Tanaka were approaching.

Takashi was a chubby guy with a calm smile. Dark brown hair and black eyes. At that moment, his eyes weren't full of mischief as always, instead, they showed perplexity.

Tanaka was a cheerful and charismatic boy. He had golden blond hair and red eyes. He was the type of boy popular with the girls and called prince by most. Normally, he had a friendly smile on his face, but at that moment, he showed at least surprise and something more.

On the other hand, Manaka remained the same.

Manaka was considered as beautiful as Akeno Himejima. In particular, because of her voluptuous body. Her breasts were practically the same size as Akeno's. And, she possessed long light-blue hair and red-violet eyes.

Excluding appearance, they were completely different. While Akeno seemed gentle, even approachable, Manaka was cold and indifferent, rarely smiling.

Many call her a cold beauty or even the Ice Princess. Also known for breaking many hearts.

"What happened to you, man?" Takashi couldn't contain his curiosity, giving Saiki a light punch on the shoulder.

He furrowed his brow slightly, not from feeling pain, but from feeling almost nothing.

"I don't know. It just happened." He mixed lie with truth: "Although I started training, wanting to change, I didn't imagine I would change so much."

"And what a damn change that is?!" Tanaka joined the conversation, now smiling: "Whatever it is... You look better. I'm happy for you."

"Thanks." He returned the smile.

"What envy... I even try to exercise, but you know how it is, right? Hahaha." Takashi laughed while scratching the back of his head.

Well, he could understand him. Without having become "The Player," honestly, he wasn't willing to put in the effort and change before. Especially when it came to exercising and dieting.

His biggest problem before was cooking. He simply preferred to heat water and make instant noodles or bake a frozen pizza. Of course, what couldn't be missing from almost all his meals was the energy drink.

He simply liked eating "junk" a lot and drinking energy drinks.

Leaving that aside for now...

He knew.

If it were in Will's world, Saiki didn't believe people would accept his change so easily, especially in such a short time.

Well, that worked better for him. He wouldn't like them to keep touching on that subject.

"Don't be sad. If one day I find out what made me change so much, I promise to help you." He touched Takashi's shoulder.

"Really?" Takashi got excited, even if it seemed like an empty promise. After all, how could something so miraculous exist?

Until then, for him, something like the supernatural was purely fiction.

Seeing that Takashi was level 3, and Manaka and Tanaka were level 5, he knew that, just like most humans, they were ordinary people.

While talking, he arrived at the classroom. There, he saw something that surprised him, but not that much.

<Heroine: Heiress of the Gremory Clan>

[Lv.88] Rias Gremory

<Heroine: Priestess of Thunder>

[Lv.86] Akeno Himejima

'Why am I not surprised?' Saiki showed an ironic smile.

There was no way their levels could be low.

Another one who also had a high level was none other than Sona. She was level 78.

'Her level is lower than Akeno's?' That surprised him a little.

As for Sona's queen, Tsubaki Shinra, she was level 71.

And to think that, until a few days ago, he thought of them as pretty girls who came from rich families. Never, not even in his wildest dream, had he imagined that they were actually Devils.

"Everyone in your seats."
