No heavenly lightning descended.

No purple qi stretched thirty thousand miles.

At twelve noon, aside from a few passersby at the foot of Mt.

Komashi who felt that the sunlight had grown slightly brighter, cool rather than scorching, nothing unusual happened.

When the final genetic cells completed their conversion into Kryptonian cells, Sorata felt his blood begin to boil deep within his body.

The deepest layers of his bloodline genetic sequences collapsed and shattered.

At that instant, his mental power, long prepared, seized the opportunity.

As the core genetic sequences reconstructed, he once again invoked the power of his True Spirit and integrated the newly simulated Kryptonian genetic law information chain, refined dozens of times in his mind.

All of it occurred in a single instant.

The addition of the law information and the collapse and reconstruction of the Kryptonian bloodline happened almost simultaneously.

Boom.

A roar exploded within Sorata’s ears.

An invisible gravitational force gathered the sunlight within dozens of miles.

Stellar thermal energy, radiation, and countless hidden forms of energy poured down like a descending galaxy, swallowed whole by his body at the mountain summit.

Only after the transformation fully completed did Sorata truly sense the terror of the Kryptonian bloodline.

As it devoured the vast stellar energy, his physique rose at a frightening speed.

Before the conversion, over ten days of modification had already strengthened him to roughly twenty times the capacity of an ordinary person.

That meant a punch weighing around two tons and a running speed of thirty meters per second, equivalent to a mid stage Rank 1 Transcendent.

Now, within just a few breaths, his strength surged to a hundred times that of an ordinary person.

His five senses sharpened dramatically.

Even with his eyes closed, he could map everything within a one mile radius through sound and scent alone.

Power churned within him without end.

This was the effect of a Kryptonian exposed to the yellow sun.

At the mountain summit, Sorata’s body slowly rose from the ground.

He hovered about a foot in the air beneath the sunlight.

His clothes, once loose, grew tight against his expanding frame.

His appearance shifted subtly.

The thin outline of his body gained solid definition.

His features became more balanced and refined, creating a natural sense of harmony.

An hour later, the surging bloodline gradually calmed.

Sorata slowly opened his eyes.

A sharp golden beam shot outward, striking a leaf five meters away.

It yellowed and curled within a blink.

“…Such weak heat vision.”

His figure flickered.

In an instant he crossed more than ten meters, appearing before a massive blue stone one mile across, weighing over ten tons and hard as iron.

He clenched his right fist.

The pressure from his power compressed the air ahead as if it were solid.

Boom.

The stone exploded.

Fragments shot into the sky, pelting the surroundings like bullets.

Branches and leaves tore through the air.

Dozens of meters of forest ahead were ravaged, the ground stripped and pitted as though struck by concentrated artillery fire.

“Base strength around thirty tons. Explosive punch force can reach one hundred tons. Speed approximately three hundred meters per second, close to the speed of sound.”

Sorata stepped calmly out of the dust.

An invisible field around his body deflected debris and grit.

He casually assessed his current parameters.

“Freshly converted Kryptonian bloodline. Heat vision, super hearing, and enhanced sight are not fully developed. Flight is limited to hovering within one meter.”

“The Scorching Bloodline integrates perfectly. The scorching fist intent now carries a shockwave burst effect. Likely the result of fusing both abilities. An unexpected gain.”

“The Titanium Body trait makes this evolved physique comparable to steel. A defensive field formed automatically. Even at its current level, ordinary bullets should pose no threat.”

“As for energy absorption…”

He looked toward the sun and reached out, fingers curling slightly in midair.

Satisfaction flickered across his face.

“Not only solar thermal energy. The diffuse radiation fluctuations between heaven and earth can also be absorbed and converted into stored energy. Though the efficiency is still low.”

He exhaled.

“I can finally relax and enjoy life a little.”

Stretching lazily, Sorata felt light all over.

A Kryptonian’s power increased naturally under sunlight.

That meant he no longer needed to devote much effort to cultivation.

At least until reaching the level of Silver Age Superman, strength would grow on its own.

What he did not know was how long it would take to reach the peak of Bronze Age Superman.

In his memory, a standard Bronze Age Superman possessed lifting strength exceeding eight hundred thousand tons, punch force surpassing three million tons, and flight speeds reaching one hundred times the speed of sound.

His heat vision exceeded six thousand degrees, striking faster than light with shockwaves as the primary destructive force.

His sight could penetrate all substances except lead.

His hearing functioned without a medium, capable of detecting sound even in space, even from the far side of Earth.

In battle, a protective force field formed instinctively around his body, shielding even his clothes.

His skeleton and muscles were nearly impervious, capable of withstanding nuclear weapons.

Internal and external defenses were equally formidable.

Solar energy could be amplified millions of times within the body and stored.

He required no oxygen and could exhale hurricanes with his immense lung capacity.

Magic, however, could harm him.

Though it could be avoided.

Compared to that, Sorata’s current thirty ton strength was still far from true Superman levels.

Yet unlike Superman, he had integrated additional abilities.

When he reached Bronze Age levels, he would not share the same weaknesses.

“I wonder if millions or tens of millions of tons of force, combined with a descent at one hundred times the speed of sound from space, could shatter a continental plate with one punch.”

A trace of eagerness flickered in his eyes.

For a moment, he considered finding an asteroid to test the idea.

Destruction lay deep within human instinct.

Like holding a blade and wanting to swing it, power naturally gave rise to the urge to test it.

Still, he shook his head.

“Shattering a continental plate might be pushing it. When I once possessed planet destroying power, I had already reached True God level. Bronze Age Superman is powerful, but still below that. At most, invincible at planetary surface level.”

He dismissed the thought and took out his phone.

“It is past one. Time to head back. A publishing house called this morning about discussing the novel’s publication.”

“It has been over a week. I thought they were not interested.”

When he descended the mountain, he waited an hour for a bus at the roadside stop, then transferred to a tram back to Sakurasou.

It was already four in the afternoon.

As he approached, he noticed a high end black car parked outside the gate.

He gave it only a brief glance.

Inside, Sengoku Chihiro sat in the living room chatting with a beautiful woman wearing glasses.

Beside them, Misaki enthusiastically asked question after question.

Shiina sat quietly to the side with her drawing board.

Next to her sat a short haired woman in professional attire.
