One week before the school festival began, Class 12-A had already descended into complete chaos.

The atmosphere inside the classroom was less like a place of learning and more like a crowded marketplace.

At the front of the room, Charlotte stood with a black marker in her hand, facing the whiteboard.Full novel: Dying Alongside My Wife on Earth, We Were Reincarnated — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

Several ideas for their class booth had already been written down, only to be crossed out because they were too ordinary and had already been taken by other classes.

As the class president and one of the main committees responsible for the entire school festival, Charlotte tried her best to remain patient while dealing with her noisy classmates.

“Okay, everyone, please calm down for a moment!” Charlotte’s loud yet friendly voice echoed throughout the classroom.

“We need one final idea that can stand out from the other classes. Class 12-D already took the cafe booth, and Class 12-C already took the photobooth. Does anyone have another idea? Please share your opinions one at a time.”

“Just make a Maid Cafe, Charl! Then you can be the maid!” one of the boys sitting near the front suddenly shouted.

The entire classroom immediately erupted into cheers and laughter.

Charlotte could only smile patiently, putting on her reliable fake smile mask as she slowly shook her head.

“Our budget isn’t enough to rent those costumes. Anyone else?”

Charlotte’s gaze then moved across the rows of students until it stopped at the very back corner of the classroom.

There, Ryuu was leaning his head against the wall, staring at the whiteboard with his usual extremely tired, sleepy-looking eyes.

“Ryuu,” Charlotte called out.

The entire class suddenly became quiet.

It was rare for the so-called “Goddess” of the school to call the “Corner Ghost” sitting in the back.

“You’ve been quiet this whole time. Do you have any ideas for our class booth?”

Ryuu let out a long sigh.

He slowly straightened his posture before answering with a completely emotionless face and a tone that was unbelievably serious.

“Let’s make a Group Sleeping Booth.”

The classroom fell silent.

“For the concept,” Ryuu continued without hesitation, “we prepare mattresses, pillows, and a portable air conditioner inside the classroom.”

“We charge exhausted festival committee members 10,000 rupiah per hour so they can take a peaceful nap without being disturbed by teachers. I guarantee our class will have the highest revenue.”

Silence filled the room for a moment.

Then…

“HAHAHAHA! DAMN, THAT IDEA IS WAY TOO RELEVANT TO YOUR LIFE, RYUU!”

“Seriously, that’s not a booth. That’s just something you personally want to do during class, Malik!”

The entire classroom burst into loud laughter.

Everyone assumed Ryuu was joking just to lighten the mood.

However, only Charlotte noticed that Ryuu’s eyes were completely serious when he said it.

There was no joke hidden behind his expression.

Charlotte quietly smiled before tapping the whiteboard with her marker.

“That’s actually a good idea, Ryuu, but I think the guidance counselor might raid us later,” Charlotte replied jokingly.

“Alright, since we don’t have much time left, how about we make a Haunted House instead?”

“The Biology Lab next to our classroom is empty. We can borrow some anatomical skeleton props from there.”

After a short discussion, the entire class finally agreed on the Haunted House idea.

To be continued.
