Kaiser lowered his gaze to his hands.
He could still feel the ache in his bones from last night’s training.
His knuckles were bruised.
His forearms felt heavy.
His muscles had been trembling by the end.
But when he curled his fingers slowly into a fist, there was a faint crackling sound, like something inside him was forging itself anew.
Although such a path was considered deviant by many scholars of the Immortal Academies, the power that came from cultivating the Physical Path was undeniable.
Those who followed the Body Path did not speak of transcendence through spirit alone.
They believed that the world itself was known through touch, force, blood, and the weight of one’s strike.
And in the Continent of Karak Korvec, those who cultivated the Physical Path often shone brighter than anyone wished to admit.
The most renowned example was the Fifth Emperor of Dawn.
He had walked both roads.
The Immortal Path for the refinement of spirit, meridians, and divine resonance.
The Physical Path for the tempering of muscle, bone, and primal might.
The harmonization of these two contradictory forces created a terrifying synergy.
One that made his very presence command the world.
His mere existence forced mountains to bow and seas to quiet.
When he stood atop the Sun Court, even the Skyfall Sect, the greatest Immortal Institution under the heavens, did not dare act recklessly.
Power did not lie in tradition.
Power lay in what one could grasp and hold.
But Kaiser knew even more than this.
His father had not been weak either.
When he was still a child, he remembered seeing his father standing before the ancestral spear rack.
The faint glow of runes across his arms.
The steady, controlled breathing that shook the air itself.
And in every change of Emperor, the wheel of fate turned harshly.
The world did not welcome new rulers with celebration.
It tested them.
Every succession brought whispers of rebellion from hidden clans, the stirring of ancient sects, and the clenched ambitions of nobles who believed their bloodlines deserved the throne more.
Even the slightest shift in the balance of authority could fracture an entire continent.
Kaiser exhaled slowly.
Such matters were distant from him.
They were the concerns of the court, the generals, the ministers, and the imperial bloodlines who circled the throne like hawks.
He had no standing in such matters.
Not now.
Right now, he had only one path.
To cultivate.
If the ability given to him by fate was a world-shattering one, then he would shape the world itself according to his will.
If it was only a quiet trickle of strength, then he would wait.
He would endure.
He would sharpen himself grain by grain until the world had no choice but to acknowledge him.
He was not impatient.
He had lived before.
He knew that time was a blade that cut more slowly than any weapon, but with far greater certainty.
A cultivator who had not even reached Qi Refinement had no right to speak of destiny.
Not yet.
At the moment, even the Empire of Dawn itself would find him heavier to carry than he was worth.
So Kaiser shook his head gently and dismissed every thought of politics or imperial change.
The status screen shifted again, but this time, it was not the simple panel that recorded his daily cultivation progress.
The air itself seemed to thicken, and ancient authority pressed down like the weight of a throne descending from the heavens.
A golden script emerged.

Three options appeared below the text.
[World of Beasts and Mutants]
[World of Knights and Mages]
[World of Martial Arts]
Only the first option glowed faintly.
The other two were locked, the letters dim and unreachable, like stars hidden behind fog.
Kaiser stared at the list, his eyes steady and calm.
The system did not explain itself.
It did not tell him why these worlds were available, where they existed, or what he was meant to accomplish within them.
But he understood enough.
This was not a gift.
This was a trial.
The first world was his only path forward.
There was no decision to consider.
He selected it.
In the same instant, it felt as though something pulled at him from inside his bones.
His breath hitched.
His skin turned deathly pale as his vitality drained at a terrifying rate.
It was not physical exhaustion.
It was deeper.
Something touched the core of his existence, as though his soul was being unraveled thread by thread.
His knees trembled.
Cold sweat ran down his back.
His vision blurred.
He feel backward, and instantly, and old man in black robes caught him with care.
‘Your Majesty!
Your Majesty!!”
Kaiser couldn’t be bothered with the shouts as he shut his eyes, and instantly he felt his soul connect to the universe.
He felt the vastness of space and felt himself insignificant, but a moment later, he was awake in front of maids and doctors scuttling here and there.
He slowly stirred upwards, but the maids came instantly and pressed him downwards, with a flurry of comments.
“Your Majesty!
You must not move!”
“Rest is imperative, Your Majesty!
You must not make hasty movements!”
The entire area was a mess of noise, so he raised his hand, and silence descended.
He rubbed his head, and looked around him.
He ordered the maids and doctors to move out from the room, and summoned Han.
A Black Robed Elder came to his side in an instant, and seeing that this old man remained as elusive as ever, he asked what had happened, to which the old man replied.
“Your Majesty.
It seems that you cultivation practice has deviated somewhat, as your vitality and soul had been drained heavily.
It is of no dire consequence though.
As the Imperial Treasury doesn’t lack Soul and Vitality Replenishing Heavenly and Earthly Materials, they had all been used to replenish your Majesty’s Soul and Vitality Level…”
As the old man named Han explained the weird circumstances of the Emperor, the Emperor himself had been somewhat distracted, as though he was dealing with some other circumstances.
After a while, seeing that silence had descended on the room, Kaiser woke up from his daze, and absentmindedly waved his hands.
Seeing his que to disappear, he vanished in an instant, and left the Emperor to his devices.
Meanwhile…
Small World, Gersa, The Dragon Court, White Willow Village.
A boy of no more than 15 woke up suddenly in the midst of the night, and looked around.
“I’ve…
reincarnated again?”
