I've noticed quite a few people asking when we're getting back to football matches. Just a heads-up—it'll be a few more days before that happens.
Right now, there are about 5-8 slice-of-life Chapters up on Patreon (with football matches still included, of course). That would be around maybe 13 Chapters on Webnovel due to how long the Chapters are. The plan is to post 2 Chapters per day.
The reason for the shift is simple—Patreon readers really enjoyed the slice-of-life focus, and honestly, these Chapters are some of my favorites to write. I also didn't want Tristan to feel like a football-only robot. I've been trying to build out his relationships and give them more depth and meaning, because that part of the story matters to me too.
That said, I totally get that some of you are just here for the football. If that's the case, feel free to skip those Chapters or drop the story instead of commenting
"Where's the football?!"
under every Chapter—save us both the headache 😅
I always leave a little note at the top of those Chapters saying
Slice of Life
or something similar so you know what to expect.
