She actually fell asleep!

The severed head stared at Yun Ji, taking several seconds to confirm this fact.

He grew even angrier, so furious that he started crying:Full novel: Entering the Death Row to Hug the Thigh, the Villains Kill Madly for Me — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

“Bastard! Bastard! Now even random nobodies dare ignore me! Sooner or later I’ll kill every last one of you, leaving none behind!”

Suddenly, an angry shout came from the darkness: “So noisy! Stop that crying! Keep crying and I’ll rip out your tongue!”

The tear-filled eyes of the severed head narrowed as his pupils glared fiercely toward the source of the voice, complaining with disgust:

“Your hands are covered in blood, so filthy. Don’t touch me until you’ve washed them.”

The opposite side seemed momentarily speechless.

The head continued criticizing disdainfully: “You should really see how ugly you look nailed to the wall. If I were you, I wouldn’t come out to embarrass myself.”

The opposite side looked at this runaway head that remained so arrogant, suppressed his temper repeatedly, but ultimately couldn’t hold back. Adopting a rather sympathetic tone, he said:

“Well… the slap mark on your face hasn’t faded yet…”

The head: ?

He had almost forgotten there was this crazy woman here who had slapped him, stepped on his face, and dared to touch him without washing her hands.

Just as he was preparing to continue his verbal assault while imagining having this woman dismembered by five horses, torn into thousands of pieces, and cut by a thousand knives, Yun Ji frowned—probably finding the floor uncomfortable to sleep on—hugged him and turned over, curling her legs toward her stomach, tightly encircling him in her arms.

Suddenly, the severed head was completely surrounded by Yun Ji.

His pupils shook with shock, his tongue trembling as he stuttered angrily:

“What kind of position is this? Truly shameless!”

Yun Ji responded with loud snoring.

Enraged, the head cursed several more times, only closing his eyes in frustration when he saw she showed no reaction.

But this was clearly his first time encountering such a situation. His eyeballs shifted restlessly beneath his eyelids, though no one knew what he was thinking about.

Yun Ji woke up fully rested, feeling refreshed and energized.

The head was sobbing in her arms, sounding quite pitiful. Who knew where all these tears came from.

She patted the head’s hair, her eyes curving as she greeted:

“Aw!”

[Good morning, head!]

The head glared at her viciously.

Only after Yun Ji had withdrawn her hand did he belatedly react, shouting angrily: “Don’t touch my head! My hair is maintained with natural treasures, smoother than silk! If your dirty hands touch me again, I’ll chop them off!”

Yun Ji blinked, feeling the head’s blood-matted hair but finding nothing particularly special about it.

Though Yun Ji couldn’t see in the darkness, the head’s vision remained unaffected.

He could tell what Yun Ji was thinking just from her expression. His face darkened, and the tears that had just stopped began flowing again: “My hair! You damned bastards! How dare you treat me like this! When I get out, I’ll kill every last one of you—”

Yun Ji picked up the meal that had been left outside the cell at some point, and while the head was cursing, scooped a spoonful of rice and fed it to him.

The head’s hateful cursing paused briefly. Full of disdain, he refused to eat.

Yun Ji said seriously: “Aw un!”

[You need to eat to have energy to keep crying and cursing!]

The head sneered, wanting to say that with his cultivation level he didn’t need to eat at all, but the moment he opened his mouth, Yun Ji shoved the rice inside.

After feeding him, Yun Ji picked him up with particular cruelty, staring at his neck with anticipation.

Would what she fed him fall out from his neck?

The head trembled with rage.

How vicious—she just wanted to see him make a fool of himself!

The head contorted its expression, unwilling to give Yun Ji the satisfaction, and swallowed the food with a fierce gulp. Strangely, the food didn’t fall out from its neck—who knew where it went?

It glared triumphantly at Yun Ji, expecting to see disappointment on her face.

But instead of disappointment, Yun Ji looked even more fascinated, as if she’d discovered a particularly interesting caterpillar.

Pah! Why was he comparing himself to a caterpillar?!

The head wanted to curse again, but when it looked up, Yun Ji was already holding a rice spoon, looking eager to act.

It decided to behave and finally shut up for a while.

Whose cooking was this? It tasted awful.

Yun Ji tried to feed it again, but it stubbornly refused to open its mouth. Left with no choice, Yun Ji finished the large bowl of rice herself.

As she ate, she gazed at the head with a worried, caring expression.

Only after Yun Ji finished eating did the head speak arrogantly, “What’s with that look? How dare you pity me?”

Yun Ji sighed, “Aww…”

[You only have a head left, and you still won’t eat properly. Don’t you know you need to eat to grow taller? Don’t you want to be a tall, 1.8-meter-high head?]

The head: ?

It imagined the scene and shuddered. Taking a deep breath, it decided to ignore this crazy woman.

When the head didn’t respond, Yun Ji amused herself by singing, “Ow ow ow~”

[The head in my arms is like a ball, kicked all the way to the Pentagon~]

The head: ???

It burst into a furious rant!

In its far-from-smooth life, the head had never encountered anyone like Yun Ji.

If it cursed at her, she acted like she didn’t hear, even treating its insults as a lullaby.

If it cried, she’d immediately grab a rag, dip it in its tears, and wipe its face—how vicious.

If it tried to hit her, it had no hands.

If it tried to bite her…

Better not. This crazy woman hadn’t bathed.

Even when it had been chopped into mincemeat, the head hadn’t fainted from anger. But after just a few days with Yun Ji, it was so enraged it saw black spots and looked noticeably haggard.

Seeing Yun Ji staring at it again, bright-eyed and full of energy, it snapped in fury:

“Who sent you here? I’ll exterminate their entire clan!”

The God of Transmigration sent me.

Yun Ji giggled and skillfully combed its hair with her hand:

[You still won’t tell me your name?]

The head snorted arrogantly.

This woman was utterly unworthy of knowing its name. It would never tell her in this lifetime—if it did, it would be a dog!

Yun Ji: [Then you’re not allowed to complain when I give you pigtails.]

The head suspiciously opened its eyes: “What are pigtails?”

Yun Ji tilted her head, pondering:

[Well, uh, like a cockroach—]

“How dare you!!!”

The head exploded with rage. Footsteps echoed from outside the cell.

Yun Ji looked over, puzzled.

Having heard the guard’s footsteps so often, she had memorized the sound of his walk.

But this time, it was clear more than one person was approaching.

As the flickering lamplight drew nearer, she saw a tall man walking ahead of the guard.

The man was exceptionally handsome—adorned with golden hooks and jade belts, elegant and noble like jade trees in a forest. Even in the pitch-black dungeon, he shone brilliantly.

Feng Liansu stopped before the cell, ignoring Yun Ji, and looked down at the head with deliberate condescension. He raised a sleeve to cover his nose:

“The stench here is foul—a perfect match for a monster like you.”

No amount of charm in his voice could hide his contempt and malice.

Yun Ji thought for sure the head was about to lose it.

Who would have thought that from the moment this person appeared, the head hadn’t made a single sound.

She looked over and saw the head merely staring at the newcomer with bloodshot eyes, jaw clenched so tightly the facial muscles were contorted.

Was it so enraged it couldn’t even speak?

Yun Ji watched the guard bowing and scraping to open the cell for the newcomer, then quickly lowered her head to comfort her companion:

“Ao ao ao.”

[Don’t be angry. This guy’s cursing voice isn’t as powerful as yours – he must have kidney deficiency.]

The head froze for a moment, then began coughing violently.

The guard who was unlocking the cell door also stumbled.

In his eyes, Yun Ji was just crying “I’m hungry” again.

How could she still be thinking about food at a time like this? Did she really love his cooking that much!

Feng Liansu couldn’t understand Yun Ji’s “language” and shot her a suspicious glance.

When he clearly saw Yun Ji’s appearance, disgust flashed rapidly through his eyes. He directly turned away from her to look at the guard, as if speaking one more word to Yun Ji would lower his dignity: “Why is there a despicable bone here? How disgusting.”

The guard’s slightly upturned lips immediately flattened.

The head also narrowed its eyes.

Only Yun Ji remained out of the loop.

What’s a despicable bone?

It sounds so familiar.
