Lizarius stood near the stream, his glowing yellow eyes fixed on the two crocodiles.
He spread his wings and swung them.
Multiple wind slashes tore through the air, flying toward the crocodiles.

The wind slashes struck them, causing an explosion that sent the water from the stream surging upward.
After the water subsided, one of the crocodiles was already dead.
Its corpse floated in the stream, blood slowly mixing with the water.
The other crocodile had several cuts across its scales.
It quickly swam toward Lizarius.
As it got closer, it suddenly leaped out of the stream, its jaws wide open as it lunged toward him.
Lizarius watched it approach.
*I thought it was going to try to escape.*
His yellow eyes glowed as he continued thinking.
*But it came charging straight toward death.*
Lizarius raised his claws and slammed them into the ground.
**BOOM!**
An earth spike shot out from beneath the crocodile, striking it directly in the belly.
**BANG!**
The earth spike broke upon impact with the crocodile’s scales.
However, the force still injured it and sent its body flying backward into the stream.
**SPLASH!**
Lizarius looked toward the stream.
A moment later, the crocodile emerged from the water.
*I guess the Earth Tortoise Gene isn’t strong enough yet to kill a Rank 5 beast.*
The crocodile had a wound on its belly.
Lizarius’s yellow eyes narrowed.

Lizarius gathered lightning around his tail before swinging it.

Lightning-charged golden scales shot toward the crocodile.

The golden scales pierced through its body.
The crocodile roared as lightning coursed through it.
Steam rose from its body as it coughed out blood.
A moment later, it stopped moving.
Lizarius swung his wings and flew closer to the crocodile’s corpse.
He landed beside it.

Lizarius opened his mouth, preparing to bite down.
But he suddenly stopped.
He turned toward the stream.

Both crocodile corpses were still floating in the stream.

He hovered above the stream before landing on one of the corpses as it drifted along with the current.

Then he lowered himself until all four of his limbs were submerged.
Lizarius grabbed the tail of one of the crocodile corpses.
He spread his wings and began pulling.
Slowly, he dragged the massive corpse out of the stream.
After a while, Lizarius had dragged both crocodile corpses onto the streamside.
He began eating.
After some time, the system announced,

Lizarius slowly turned invisible.
He spread his wings and swung them, quickly taking flight above the stream.
A few seconds later, Lizarius slowed down and landed beside the Rank 5 crocodile corpse.
He slowly became visible.

His yellow eyes glowed as he opened his mouth and bit down.
His acidic saliva quickly melted through the crocodile’s tough scales.

Lizarius tore off a piece of flesh and began eating.
