“Mm,” Su Yue responded.

Suppressing the urge to ignore everything, she decided to go check the situation.

Although the person in the spaceship hadn’t intended to save them, they had indeed been saved by him.Full novel: Exiled to a Desolate Planet I Farm and Raise Children in the Interstellar World — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

Moreover, the spaceship bore military markings. There might be surveillance or recording devices onboard.

If they just left him to die here and it was later investigated, they might be held accountable.

Her and her brother’s exile term was twenty years. She had no intention of staying on this wasteland planet forever—or facing even harsher punishment.

So, Su Yue walked toward the spaceship.

Su Yi followed closely, worried.

When they reached the cockpit, Su Yue finally saw clearly.

There was indeed a person inside, wearing a mask that obscured his face.

The cockpit showed clear signs of damage. The airbags had deployed, and the man looked weak—clearly badly injured.

Seeing him point at the glass, Su Yue understood.

She told Su Yi to break it.

Su Yi did as instructed.

Once the glass was shattered, the man inside let out a breath of relief.

Su Yue then had Su Yi pull him out.

Three minutes later, the man was laid on the ground.

Su Yue stepped forward and removed his helmet.

The moment she saw his face, she was stunned.

What the hell?!

The man on the ground gave her a weak smile.

“Thank you—”

Su Yue’s heart went into chaos.

Damn it, damn it!

The man she thought she would never see again in this lifetime—

Had appeared!!

That’s right.

This man was the father of the child in her belly.

Back then, due to a twist of fate, he had spent a chaotic night with her—or rather, with the original host.

Afterward, the original host had tried to investigate his identity but found nothing.

Only one thing was certain: he hadn’t been arranged by her stepsister.

In short, although the original host had been schemed against, she hadn’t ended up being violated by the fifty-year-old man her stepsister had planned.

“Heh… good thing… I didn’t come too late…” the man said weakly, glancing at her belly.

Su Yue instinctively looked down at her stomach.

Her mind buzzed.

What did he mean, not too late?

Wait… it couldn’t be what she was thinking, right?

“Don’t worry… from now on… with me here, I won’t let you and the baby suffer anymore…”

What?!

Su Yue’s head throbbed.

Wasn’t it said that men usually deny everything after the fact?

This guy had come all the way to a wasteland planet to find her? No—to find her and the child?

And even crashed a spaceship into a star beast to save her?

Was she supposed to believe that?!

And how did he even know she was pregnant?!

Just as her thoughts spiraled—

A loud crash sounded.

The elk-like star beast that had been pinned under the spaceship was about to break free.

It glared at them viciously, clearly ready to retaliate.

Su Yue’s expression changed drastically.

Just as the beast was about to escape, she noticed a mech necklace around the man’s neck.

She immediately reached for it.

“Let my brother use your mech! His mental power is S-rank!” she said quickly.

“No—at least double S…” the man replied urgently.

“I’ve been poisoned… don’t worry about me! Let your brother take you and leave—quick!”

Su Yue was shocked.

She grabbed his wrist.

Activating her mental ability, she indeed detected toxins in his body.

The beast was about to break free—

There was no time to think.

She directly used her ability.

The poison in his body instantly dissolved.

The man’s paralyzed body rapidly recovered.

Shock flashed in his eyes.

Without hesitation, he stood up, pushed Su Yue into Su Yi’s arms, and reached for the mech necklace on his chest.

Just as the beast charged—

He leapt into a silver mech that appeared out of thin air.

The mech was humanoid, slightly larger than the beast, sleek and incredibly cool—almost like a Transformer.

Before Su Yue could get a proper look—

The mech stepped forward and drove a long sword into the beast.

With a flash of light—

The massive creature was split cleanly in two.

Su Yue and Su Yi were both stunned.

This… was insanely powerful.

After the battle, the silver mech turned and waved at Su Yue.

Her heart stirred.

She found herself unable to resist how cool it looked.

As the mech disappeared, the man reappeared.

Under the sunset, his sharp features looked even more striking.

Even someone like Su Yue, who prided herself on being resistant to handsome men, felt her heart race.

So she simply looked away.

Hmph. Experience had taught her—

Good-looking men were dangerous.

This level of beauty?

Deadly poison.

If not arsenic, then something just as lethal.

Su Yi, however, was full of admiration.

“You’re amazing! Wh-what kind of mech is that?” he asked excitedly.

The man smiled slightly.

“It’s called Zhanfeng. If you like it, I can let you try it someday.”

Su Yi’s eyes lit up.

“Really?!”

“Mm.”

Su Yue watched from the side, feeling irritated.

“Big brother”? Since when was he his big brother?

He sure got familiar quickly.

She stepped forward and pulled Su Yi away.

“Sir, thank you for saving us just now.”

“But it’s getting late. We still have things to do, so we’ll be leaving.”

She didn’t even want the beast’s corpse anymore—she just wanted to leave.

This man felt too dangerous.

But he didn’t let her go.

He raised his hand and blocked her path.

Su Yue frowned and met his gaze.

“My name is Di Kun. You can call me Kun.”

Cough—

Su Yue nearly choked.

He stepped closer, trying to pat her back, but she raised her hand defensively.

“Cough… Mr. Di, we’re not that familiar.”

His brows furrowed.

“Not familiar? But our baby is already four months old.”

Su Yue’s mind exploded.

Meanwhile, Su Yi rushed forward again.

“Baby? You mean the baby in Yueyue’s belly is yours?!” he asked in shock.

“Mm,” Di Kun replied.

Su Yi’s mouth hung open.

Su Yue, on the other hand, wanted to curse.

Was something wrong with this man’s brain?!

“I’m sorry. I found out about the child too late,” Di Kun said.

“But once I knew, I made plans to find you.”

“I just had too many things to handle, so it took some time.”

“And then… something unexpected happened on the way.”

He glanced at his spaceship.
